Rihanna prefers not to wear a bra

Rihanna prefers not to wear a bra.
The 'Pour It up' singer claims she will ditch the undergarment and go bra-free when wearing her clothes, and if she does wear a brassiere she isn't afraid to wear the lingerie on its own.
Rihanna told the March issue of America's Vogue magazine:"If I'm wearing a top, I don't wear a bra. If I'm wearing a bra, I just wear a bra."
The 25-year-old singer also claims she is willing to tolerate pain when if it means she can wear her most fashionable garments, including her four-inch, pointy-heeled Yves Saint-Laurent boots.
Rihanna added:"It's not about pain. It's about the commitment. I say to myself, 'I want to look like this,' and worry about the pain later. I've had nights I had to tiptoe home and the balls of my feet wouldn't even allow me to stand."
Meanwhile, the Bajan beauty claims she loves boys' clothes and would often shun girlie dresses in favour of her brothers clothes when growing up.
She recalled: "When I was 13 or 14, I didn't want to wear what my mother wanted me to wear. I was very much a boy in my style, my demeanour. All my friends were guys. I loved things that boys did.
"It was my way of rebelling. I wanted to dress like my brother. After a while, it was just easier for Mom to dress us both the same."
The interview comes as part of Rihanna's third cover for US Vogue after fronting both the April 2011 and the November 2012 issues of the fashion bible.

Kate Moss attends Prince’s intimate London show

Kate Moss was among the stars who attended Prince's intimate show in London last night (17.02.14).
The 40-year-old supermodel turned up at Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club in London to watch the 'Purple Rain' hitmaker and his new all-female band 3RDEYEGIRL perform the latest show on their 'Hit & Run' tour.
Kate was joined at the gig by her husband Jamie Hince and several other famous faces were in the audience, including Noel Gallagher, Adele, Rita Ora, Cara Delevingne, Nile Rodgers and Stephen Fry.
The 55-year-old musician played a different set compared to the tracks he has been playing at his various secret guerilla gigs across London this month.
He opened with his hit 'Diamonds and Pearls' before playing funk versions of 'Take Me With U' and 'Raspberry Beret'.
Other highlights included renditions of 'The Most Beautiful Girl in the World' and 'How Come You Don't Call Me Anymore' and last song 'Purple Rain'. Prince then followed his first set with another to ensure fans who had been queuing for hours outside got a chance to see their idol in the 140 capacity venue.
Rita took to her Twitter account during the gig, simply stating: "Prince... speechless."
Prince played at King's Place last Friday evening (14.02.14) before performing a double gig at Koko in Camden, north west London, on Sunday (16.02.14).
He has also confirmed he'll play two secret shows in Manchester this week and, although no dates or venues have been confirmed.

Victoria Beckham: School was tough

Victoria Beckham "wouldn't wish" her schooldays on anyone.
The 39-year-old fashion designer admits she wept when she received a British Fashion Award two years ago because she couldn't believe how much her life has changed since she was bullied for being "different".
She said: "I had come such a long way. I didn't go to a private school; it was a public school. It was not a very nice school.
"[I was bullied because I was] different from all the other children at the school. I really wouldn't wish it on any kid, because it's horrible."
Victoria - who has children Brooklyn, 14, Romeo, 11, Cruz, eight, and Harper, two, with husband David - credits her former Spice Girls bandmates for helping her overcome her problems and become more confident.
Speaking to the new edition of Allure magazine, she said: "I think what gave me confidence in myself was meeting the other girls. We always said we were all like rejects in our own way. We had to work hard, and they helped me accept me for who I was."
And the British star also admitted to having "purchased" her breasts, though she has now had the implants removed.
Looking at an old photograph, she said: "I don't have them anymore. I think I may have purchased them."

Michelle Rodriguez: Cara Delevingne is ‘awesome’

Michelle Rodriguez thinks Cara Delevingne is "awesome".
The 35-year-old actress has been "hanging out" with the 21-year-old model - who she was pictured kissing at a basketball game last month - and says they are having "the best time" together.
She told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "It's going really well. She's so cool. When we started hanging out I just thought she was awesome, and we have the best time together. She's hard though. You wouldn't want to mess with her in a fight."
And asked why she was alone at the BAFTA Awards on Sunday (16.02.14), she added: "Cara's at her own fashion week party tonight, so doing her own thing."
However, the former 'Lost' actress insisted she is just "having fun" with the British beauty.
Asked if they are in a relationship, she said: "We're just having fun."
The pair enjoy spending time with one another because they like to "dork around" and are both "crazy".
Michelle told The Sun newspaper: "We just dork around together. There's no other way to put it because I might be 'crazy' but Cara's crazier."
Michelle and Cara, who were introduced by mutual friends in America, have been seen out and about on several occasions in London and California since the beginning of the year, including at Prince's low-key gig at Ronnie Scott's in the UK capital last night (17.02.14).

Robert DeNiro, Lady Gaga, Lindsay Lohan and Mariah Carey were among the surprise guests on Jimmy Fallon's debut 'Tonight Show' last night (17.02.14).
The former 'Saturday Night Live' star anchored his first show from New York and took the time to mock a "buddy" who bet him he would never land the job, prompting a host of famous faces to come out and honour the bet.
Jimmy said: "To my buddy who said that I'd never be the host of The Tonight Show - and you know who you are - you owe me a hundred bucks, buddy."
DeNiro then walked through the curtains and handed the host a $100 bill, and was quickly followed by Tina Fey, Joe Namath, former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, Mariah - who appeared to pull her $100 from her cleavage - Tracy Morgan, Joan Rivers, Kim Kardashian, Seth Rogen, Lindsay , Sarah Jessica Parker, Mike Tyson, Gaga, and Stephen Colbert, who emptied $100 in pennies over Jimmy's head.
Opening the show, Jimmy poked fun at himself before emotionally thanking his wife Nancy, their six-month-old daughter Winnie and his parents.
He said: "I'm Jimmy Fallon and I'll be your host ... for now...
"I don't know how I got here. I grew up in Saugerties, New York. I had a great childhood. If you had told me I'd graduate high school, go on to 'Saturday Night Live' and then host the 'Tonight Show', I'd say ... I graduated high school?"
He then pointed out his parents in the audience and added: "I hope you're proud of me. As a kid, I remember wanting to watch Johnny Carson. If a kid now is staying up to watch me, I hope I do well. It means a lot to me. I Just want to take care of the show for awhile."
Later in the show, Jimmy was joined by Will Smith - who took part in a skit called 'The Evolution of Hip Hop Dancing' with the host -and U2 performed their latest single 'Invisible' from the roof of the Rockefeller Center.

Sandra Bullock skipped BAFTAs for sick son

Sandra Bullock missed the BAFTA Awards because her son was ill.
The 49-year-old star - who was nominated for Best Actress - had been due to walk the red carpet at London's Royal Opera House on Sunday (16.02.14), but skipped the ceremony to care for three-year-old Louis, the New York Post newspaper reports.
Meanwhile, 'Gravity' director Alfonso Cuaron has revealed he bonded with Sandra over their marriage splits, and thinks their shared struggled helped get to to the "emotional core" of the movie.
The filmmaker - who picked up the Best Director BAFTA - told The Daily Beast: "When [me and Sandra] met for the first time, we didn't talk about space or technology or any of that. We just talked about adversity--and not even in the context of the film, but in the context of our lives. In an abstract way.
"We'd happened to be going through a process of adversities and we were trying to make sense out of them. It created a very interesting bond between the two of us, and a common understanding of what we were looking for.
"A lot of work was on fine-tuning the screenplay to really try to get into the emotional core of every single one of these scenes, and that common understanding that we had on the subject was very important."
Alfonso split from second wife Annalisa Bugliani in 2008 while Sandra filed for divorce from Jesse James in April 2010 following reports he had cheated on her.

Sharon Stone hated curves

Sharon Stone "wanted to die" when she put on weight in her 20s.
The 55-year-old actress gained 45lbs as a side effect from medication she was given after an accident and admitted she hated the attention her newly-curvaceous figure received from men.
She said: "When I was 20, after my horseback-riding accident, I was given cortisone shots and I gained a lot of weight from that, like 45 pounds.
"I looked a little like Anna Nicole Smith, with a tiny waist, big boobs, and a big butt. Everywhere I went, men went insane over my va-va-voom body. I just wanted to die and I became an introvert."
The 'Alpha Dog' actress - who has three adopted sons, Roan, 13, Laird, eight, and Quinn, seven - also admitted she has struggled with getting older and has "cried and cried" over the way she has changed with time.
She told the new edition of Shape magazine: "There was a point in my 40s when I went into the bathroom with a bottle of wine, locked the door, and said, 'I'm not coming out until I can totally accept the way I look right now.'
"I examined my face in the magnifying mirror, and I looked at my body, and I cried and cried and cried . . . I thought, 'I'd like to age like a dancer.' I want to keep my body in shape like that."

J.K. Rowling to release second novel under pen name

J.K. Rowling is set to release her second novel under the pen name Robert Galbraith.
The 'Harry Potter' author wrote her first novel, 'The Cuckoo's Calling', under the alias last year and she's now working on a sequel to the bestselling crime novel, called 'Silkworm', which will be released later this year, according to publishers.
The 48-year-old writer had aimed to keep her crime writing venture a secret but her solicitor at the time revealed her pen name to the public and has since been fined and ordered to pay Rowling damages - which she donated to charity.
'Silkworm' will be the author's third book for adults, as she also released 'Casual Vacancy' under her real name in 2012.
Her newest crime story will feature private detective Cormoran Strike - who first appeared in 'The Cuckoo's Calling' - and he, along with his assistant Robin Ellacott, will unravel the death of writer Owen Quine after being hired by his wife to investigate his disappearance.
Rowling's publisher describes the novel as "a compulsively readable crime novel with twists at every turn."
The Scottish writer recently caused controversy by admitting she wasn't sure she was happy with the way in which she ended the final 'Harry Potter' book, and suggested she thought she should've written the ending so that Harry ended up with Hermione Granger rather than his best friend Ron Weasley, who married her instead.
