Jamie Dornan changed the way he walks while filming 'Fifty Shades of Grey.'
The Northern Irish actor decided to improve his strut after a dance instructor on the set informed he looked awkward and was "quite bouncy," and now applies the heel-to-toe technique every day.
The 31-year-old former model told the UK's 'The Graham Norton Show': "So basically, I've always had a complex with the way I walk. I've not always been told I've got a bad walk, but someone's always commented on my walk. It's always been a bit like, 'alright. That's how you walk?' "
The actor, who welcomed his first child, a baby girl, with wife Amelia Warner in December, made the discovering while taking dancing classes before shooting a scene for the film, during which his character Christian Grey twirls Anastasia Steele, played by Dakota Johnson, around the dance floor.
He said: "It was like foxtrot, it was very classic. I was really struggling with it, and the dance teacher said, 'you know what you need to do. Just think about it as walking', and I was like 'okay.' And I'm 31-years-old, literally the first thing you learn in life is to walk. And I was like, 'that's funny. I'm not great walking.'"
The instructor had a simple solution for him told him to think about "heel-to-toe."
Jamie added: "No one ever told me that! I was always toe-to-more-toe! Now I just apply that every day, when I'm walking around."

Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale have named their third son Apollo.
The 48-year-old Bush frontman confirmed they welcomed a baby boy into the world in Los Angeles on Friday (28.02.14), and they decided to include both of their mother's maiden names in the tot's unusual moniker.
He wrote on Twitter on Saturday (01.03.14): "Welcome Apollo Bowie Flynn Rossdale 2/28/14. Bowie and Flynn = [our] mothers' maiden names."
The couple also have sons, Zuma, five, and Kingston, seven, together, while Gavin has daughter Daisy Lowe, 25, with ex-girlfriend Pearl Lowe.
The No Doubt beauty, 44, revealed in January that she was expecting another son.

Janet Jackson's relationship with Wissam Al Mana has reportedly "changed" since they got married.
The couple, who tied the knot in 2012, recently sparked speculation they are set to split but a friend close to the singer insisted they are working on their relationship.
The insider told E! News: "All the bliss that Janet experienced pre-marriage with Wissam and in the first couple of months is gone."
But the source added: "From what I was told, she never said divorce. From what I'm told, she's staying with him."

The couple previously revealed they married in a "quiet, private and beautiful" secret ceremony two years ago.

The 40-year-old star will be attending her former bandmate, Victoria Beckham's, 40th birthday party later this year, along with the rest of the Spice Girls gang, and she's looking forward to seeing who will still be standing at the end of the night.

Lily Allen's husband is embarrassed that she wrote her new single about him.
The 28-year-old singer recently released her new track 'L8 CMMR' which features lyrics such as "My lover/Shoots and scores like he's Maradonna/Undercover, under the covers/ My man is a bad mother*****, which refers to her love life with husband Sam Cooper but she claims he wasn't too happy when he heard it.
She told the Daily Star newspaper: "Sam was completely embarrassed."
The outspoken star has also admitted that she's no longer interested in engaging in feuds with other pop stars and says she want to focus on exploring different issues through her music.
She added: "I'm still curious and still want to dig deeper about things. I have a lot of questions to be answered. I don't really care about bitching about Katy Perry. To me that was never my edge. That was just sensationalist s***."
Lily - who has two-year-old daughter Ethel and 10-month-old Marnie with her husband Sam - has guest edited a special issue of Shortlist magazine titled How to Be a Man, By Women which will be available on Thursday (06.03.14).
