Simon Cowell is planning to buy a house next door to Justin Bieber.
The 'X Factor' boss is said to be in talks with an estate agent to buy a six-bedroom, £5.4 million home in Los Angeles for his new family, but the house is in the gated community of Calabasas known as 'The Oaks' where the 'Baby' singer is known for throwing wild parties at his own mansion.
A local resident said: "You have to wonder whether Simon's people are even aware that Bieber lives in the neighbourhood.
"If he does move here with his family, he should know that the kid is a non-stop menace when he's in residence, throwing all night parties with his pals and generally wreaking havoc."
Incidents at the 20-year-old pop stars home include arrests for drug possession and throwing eggs at neighbours properties, but Simon - who recently welcomed his first child, Eric, with girlfriend Lauren Silverman - is said to be unaware of who his future neighbour could be.
A source told the Daily Star newspaper: "He was apparently very excited when they sent him the details of The Oaks estate.
"But no one mentioned the fact - perhaps because they didn't know - that Justin Bieber will be one of his neighbours."

Michael Douglas' mother claims his marriage troubles with Catherine Zeta-Jones are over.
The 69-year-old actors' mother Diana Douglas has opened up about her son's brief separation from his wife Catherine Zeta-Jones and says the pair are now firmly back together and over their marriage woes.
She said: "They are together. I knew they would work it out. They're both gentle people, not hysterical. They're always very affectionate and easy with each other. I figured the more everybody stayed out of it the better."
'Red 2' actress Catherine's admission that she suffers from bipolar disorder - which has led to her spending time in rehab fighting depression - was said to be one of the reasons for the couple's brief separation, and Diana admits that she thinks her son must have found it difficult to support his wife.
She told The Sun newspaper: "I knew she was dealing with depression ... It's probably not an easy thing to understand if you don't have it yourself. But he's and understanding person."
Diana also spoke out about Michael's battle with tongue cancer - which he revealed after having first announced he had throat cancer - and admits that he dealt with his illness in his own way, without the help of his family.
She added: "He kept it very much to himself. He didn't tell any of the family. It was a private thing.
"He gets depressed like everybody does at times. But he's a very pragmatic person. He isn't inclined to dwell on things."

Amy Adams feared she'd given Bradley Cooper a black eye filming 'American Hustle'.
The 39-year-old actress says she got so carried away shooting a violent scene in the 1970s-set crime caper that she hit her hunky co-star a little too hard.
She explained: "[Director] David [O. Russell] pushes his actors into a space where you don't really know what's going to happen. But in one scene I wish I hadn't let myself get caught up in that atmosphere.
"There's a scene where I was supposed to hit Bradley. I wasn't hitting him hard enough and David kept yelling, 'Hit him. Hit him.' And Bradley kept yelling, 'C'mon, hit me, hit me!' So I finally hit him, but I whacked him so hard that his face began to swell and I was crying because I thought I'd given him a black eye."
Despite the chaotic on-set moment, Amy has praised her 39-year-old co-star for being so encouraging to the cast and crew.
She told LOOK magazine: "He will do anything. Bradley's the cheerleader on set. He's like, 'Let's do this, come on, everybody!' He's my hero in this film."

Pixie Lott doesn't think it's healthy to stay friends with ex-boyfriends.
The 'Nasty' singer is currently loved up with her model boyfriend Oliver Cheshire and thinks part of the reason their romance is going so well is because she doesn't try to maintain relationships with any of her exes.
When asked if it's possible to stay friends with an ex, she said: "It's really hard, I think. I had a few flings before Oliver and we haven't stayed friends, but I don't know whether it would be healthy to anyway."
The 23-year-old blonde beauty also admitted that although it's difficult she has had to cut ties with friends in the past and claims it's all a part of getting older.
She said: "If a friend turns out to be someone that you don't like or can't agree with, sometimes that's when you should start questioning things. I think it's part of growing up and it happens to a lot of people."
Pixie feels like she takes her family and friends for granted and says if she was to do a good deed every day for a week it would be to appreciate them more.
She told Top of the Pops magazine: "Maybe I should ring my friends and family everyday. But then again, they might get annoyed with me telling them I love them all the time on the seventh day, ha-ha!"

Amanda Bynes has returned to Twitter.
The 'Easy A' actress, who completed three months of psychiatric treatment for both schizophrenia and bipolar disorder in December, posted her first message on the social networking site in months on Friday (28.02.14) to tell her fans that she loves them.
Clearly eager to start afresh after enrolling in the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in California, the 27-year-old actress deleted all her old tweets and wrote: "Hi everyone! I'm busy studying at @FIDM but I want to say I love you to my fans! Xoxo Amanda."
The 'What I Like About You' star was said to be "horrified" by crude comments she made about Drake on Twitter last year when she said she wanted the rapper to "murder my vagina," and posted dozens of positive and negative messages about him on an almost daily basis.
The 'Hairspray' actress reached a plea deal in her driving under the influence (DUI) case on Monday (24.02.14), after her lawyer managed to get the charges from 2012 dropped so she could plead no contest to a lesser charge of alcohol-related reckless driving.
Although Amanda escaped jail and a fine, she was placed on three years probation and ordered to attend three months of alcohol education classes.

Ariel Winter's mother has been ordered to return almost $4,000 to her father.
The 'Modern Family' star, who plays Alex Dunphy on the comedy series, was placed under the temporary guardianship of her older sister, Shanelle Grey, in October 2012 after she claimed her mother, Chrisoula Workman, was abusing her physically and emotionally.
A judge in Los Angeles ruled on Friday (28.02.14) that Chrisoula must formally turn over nearly $4,000 in residual cheques to the 16-year-old star's father, Glen Workman, who has control of his daughter's finances.
He claimed that Chrisoula cashed their daughter's cheque and deposited it into the account of the young actress' production company.
The judge ordered Chrisoula to turn over the money by March 14, and was told not to make any representations that she is still affiliated with the production company, Winter Sky, according to gossip website RadarOnline.com.
Ariel previously admitted she has never been happier and feels like a "normal" teenager since moving in with her sister.
She said: "My life is definitely more normal -- and that'll help me grow up like I'm supposed to.
"Sunday we have family dinner. It's just a different experience for me because I have more of a family life. I'm really happy.
"My sister is the most amazing woman I've ever met in my life. If I could be half the woman she is ... she's kind of who I want to be like.
"[Shanelle] supports me in everything I do, and so does my brother-in-law David. Both are kind of like my biggest supporters."

Drake has parted ways with his his PR team.
The 'Hold On, We're Going Home' hitmaker was allegedly dropped by his representatives at ID-PR, shortly after complaining about being ditched from the cover of Rolling Stone magazine in favour of the late Philip Seymour Hoffman.
A source told Billboard.com that the firm, which handled publicity for his third album 'Nothing Was The Same,' as well as his current Would You Like A Tour? which wraps in London on March 26, initiated the split after the 27-year-old star posted a series of furious tweets, which have since been deleted, about the magazine's decision not to feature him on the cover after the 'Capote' star's tragic death from an apparent heroin overdose last month.
He wrote: "I'm disgusted with that. RIP to Philip Seymour Hoffman. All respect due. But the press is evil."
He later added: "I'm done doing interviews for magazines. I just want to give my music to the people. That's the only way my message gets across accurately."
Another source told the New York Post's Page Six that the rapper's comments were "the last straw," as he previously had a lot of drama behind-the-scenes with ID-PR and allegedly hadn't shown up for several other magazine shoots and TV appearances the firm had arranged.
The source said: "It's a shame that someone with so much talent is surrounded by kids who are burning bridges left and right."
The insider also claimed he had issues with Hollywood agency ICM Partners and another of his former firms, The Chamber Group, in the past.
A spokesperson for ID-PR told RadarOnline.com: "Drake is an incredibly talented artist, and we're proud of our results for [his new album] 'Nothing Was the Same' and Would You Like a Tour? We wish him the best."

Kendra Wilkinson is not looking forward to going into labour.
The 'Kendra On Top' star is set to have her second child, a daughter, with husband Hank Baskett in May and while she admits she's being pampered, she isn't looking forward to the actual process of giving birth.
Speaking at OK! Magazine US's Pre-Oscar party at Greystone Manor in West Hollywood she told BANG Showbiz: "The best thing about being pregnant is how spoiled I am, every day is just spoil, spoil, spoil. I get everything I want, I sleep in, I have everything I want in my life right now.
"The worst thing is the pain, my feet are swollen right now, and just the thought of labour, its crazy knowing its coming up."
Despite the discomfort of the birth, Kendra, 28, added she is planning to film it live for her reality show. She also says she is meticulously involved in every aspect of the show and what it includes.
Speaking at the event - which was sponsored by Ciroc vodka - she added: "I'm an executive producer, so I have as much control over the show as anybody.
"I have editing rights and everything, but do I actually use them? No, because that's where the team's skills lie.
"You have to be smart to be in reality, you can't be dumb. You have to put together a plan, you can't just go and shoot whatever, as you'd be wasting people's money."
