Jennifer Lopez isn't rushing to get married again.
The 44-year-old singer - who has been married three times before - has been dating her beau Casper Smart, 27, since 2011, but she's adamant she won't be walking down the aisle any time soon.
She said: "'In the past, love for me has always meant forever and sure you still nurse those fantasies, but I don't try to force it any more.
"I hung on to my fairy tale ideals for a long time. But where I am now, what I've been through, there are no rules.
"There are lots of ways it can turn out instead of just one. There are so many different kinds of happiness, not just the one you learned about when you were five years old."
The 'On the Floor' hitmaker admits she has a history of "rushing things through" when it comes to love, but she's trying to work out why she can't stand being alone.
She explained: "Look I don't love being alone. I don't. I can't beat myself up about that. What I have to do is figure out why I don't like it. Why am I not OK being alone? And can I be OK facing that?"
The brunette beauty believes her six-year-old twins Emme and Max - with whom she shares with her ex-husband Marc Anthony - have helped her to focus on the important things in life.
She explained in the April edition of InStyle magazine: "Kids really focus you - it's primal. You come home and you're tired and they have no idea if you've had the greatest day or the roughest. 'Mummy, I don't care if your head hurts, I want to sit in your lap an eat food in your hair'."

Stacy Keibler and Jared Pobre are reportedly planning to have children "as soon as possible".
The couple - who started dating late last year - tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in Mexico last weekend, and are already considering starting a family together.
A source told Us Magazine: "They both want kids as soon as possible."
The pair, who have known each other for five years, shocked everyone on Saturday (08.03.14) when they announced they had got hitched in a romantic beach setting, with just their immediate families present to witness the nuptials.
A source explained: "Stacy really did not tell any of her friends that this wedding was happening.
"Stacy loves Jared so much and is so happy with how everything went. They've been head over heels with each other since they met."
Meanwhile, the 34-year-old actress reportedly ended her two-year relationship with George Clooney last July - two months before she started dating Jared - because he didn't want to settle down.
A source said at the time: "Stacy called it quits. She wants to have children and a family someday. She knows where George stands on that."
George, 52, is now believed to be dating British barrister Amal Alamuddin.

Selena Gomez' parents are "vehemently opposed" to her reuniting with ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber.
The 21-year-old singer and the 'Baby' hitmaker were spotted enjoying a romantic meal in Texas last week, but her mother Mandy and her step-father Brian aren't happy about the reconciliation.
A source told RadarOnline: "It's definitely against her parents' wishes."
The source added: "They're doing their best to supervise them. They're tolerating it as long as they know that there is someone who has eyes on them all the time."
Mandy and Brian are reportedly "convinced" Justin, who has had a number of run-ins with the law recently, is responsible for driving Selena to rehab earlier this year.
However, Selena's parents know they can't ban the 'Come and Get It' hitmaker from seeing the troubled star.
The source explained: "They [Brian and Mandy] don't have any control over her. She's pulling the, 'Who makes the money around here?' card! It's a sh*t show behind-the-scenes."
Selena - who has had an on/off relationship with Justin since 2010 - was admitted to Dawn at The Meadows recovery centre in Arizona on January 5, and spent two weeks at the facility, which treats people aged 18 to 26 years old who are "struggling with emotional trauma, addiction or dual diagnosis concerns."

Shailene Woodley has more "freedom" since getting rid of her mobile phone.
The 'Divergent' actress admits she is not a "big technology" person and since getting rid of her communications device, she has found she is interacting with others much more.
She told The Daily Beast: "I'm not a big technology person. I don't even have a smart phone. I don't even have a cell phone! If I were to have one, it would be a flip phone.
"There is a bigger lack of camaraderie and community than there's ever been. Since I got rid of my phone, [I'm] having to pull over and be like, 'Hey, buddy -- do you know how to get here?'
"I'm talking to people more than I've ever talked to in my life because I no longer have that crutch. The more you get away from all the technological buzz, the more freedom you have."
The 23-year-old actress enjoys collecting natural spring water and foraging for berries in the mountains, and admits her interest in "urban survival skills" helped her land the role of Beatrice Prior in 'Divergent'.
She said: "The producers asked me what I liked to do in my spare time and I told them I used to study how to survive in the wild -- how to make shelter, build fire, and create weapons out of the ecosystem --but I live in a city, so it also got me thinking about urban survival skills."

Miley Cyrus performed in her underwear after missing her costume change during a gig.
The 'Wrecking Ball' hitmaker was forced to run on stage at the BMO Harris Bradley Centre in her "undies" to make sure fans didn't miss out on single '23' when she was in Milwaukee, Wisconsin as part of her 'Bangerz Tour' yesterday (09.03.14).
Miley posted a string of messages on Twitter, she wrote: "not a new outfit for 23 I didn't make my quick change and I couldn't not come out for the song so I just had to run out in my undies 🙁
"Never happened to me before. But I love my fans as much as they love me! I couldn't miss 23
"Show must go on 🙁 (sic)"
Miley kicked off her raunchy world tour in Vancouver, Canada, last month and came under fire for antics such as simulating a sex act on a man wearing a Bill Clinton mask, but she insists she gave fans a pre-warning her shows would be X-rated.
She previously wrote on Twitter: "You can't say I didn't warn you. Now sit back relax & enjoy the show. #bangerztour (sic)"
The blonde beauty will next take to the stage in St. Paul, Minnesota tonight (10.03.14), while she's on the US leg of her tour, before heading to Canadian cities of Montreal and Toronto at the end of the month.

Perrie Edwards thinks a Disney-themed wedding would be "amazing".
The Little Mix singer insists she and fiance Zayn Malik haven't yet begun to plan their nuptials but having a reception based around Mickey Mouse and his friends would appeal to the "big kid" in them both.
She said: "I do love Disney so [a themed wedding] would be amazing. I'm a big child. We are both big kids!"
The 20-year-old singer got engaged to the One Direction hunk last August but she says they have so far been too busy to even have a conversation about when they want to wed.
She told Us Weekly magazine: "Everything is so busy. Hopefully we will one day be able to sit down together and start making plans. No date at all in mind yet."
And though the 'Wings' hitmaker wants to have children one day, she is currently too focused on Little Mix to think about starting a family.
She said: "[The Little Mix girls are] are ambitious and want to take over the world and do everything we can while we're young and have time to do it. But I still want the same thing every other girl or woman wants in the world.
"I have no idea how many kids I want - you never know until you get to that point of life when you're ready - but I'm not anywhere near that yet."

Nigella Lawson has never been interested in a party lifestyle.
The TV cook, who was forced to admit in court last December that she had taken cocaine and smoked cannabis in the past, made the most of her student days at Oxford University, but quickly grew tired of the "posh crowd" and their social life.
She said: "The thing is, I made friends widely. I did go out a lot, but more of the time I was in my room or the library, recharging and reading or just being exhausted - it was so intense there and I've always had a need to step back and dim the lights.
"I was a bit of an exotic outsider for the posh crowd, and I moved freely between what could be called 'sets', seeming to belong but slightly apart at the same time. It's always been people who interest me, not parties or social life."
The 54-year-old star - who has children Cosima and Bruno from her first marriage to late journalist John Diamond - prefers to socialise in her own home, surrounded by a close group of friends she feels comfortable enough to wear her pyjamas in front of.
Nigella - who divorced Charles Saatchi last July after 10 years of marriage - told Britain's Vogue magazine: "I've been able to take pleasure from things again. For example, I had an impromptu dinner party recently here the other night and suddenly, as I was cooking the stroganoff, I felt an incredible sense of comfort come over me because I realised there was nobody coming who I would be uncomfortable in front of just wearing socks and leggings, and no make-up.
"I think that's important, because as you get to a certain age in life, although it's lovely to meet new people, I feel if I am happy to see them in my PJs and dressing then they are the people I really need in my life."

Dominic Cooper prefers to film sex scenes "butt naked."
The 'Need For Speed' actor says a "sad nappy" is just one of the embarrassing undergarments he has been made to wear in a bid to protect his modesty while shooting love making scenes, but thinks it's far better to strip off completely.
Dominic exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "[What's embarrassing about sex scenes?] Well normally it's what they try and make you wear, which is anything from some sad nappy, to a towel with elastic bands round it in the shape of a penis - like that in any way is going to make you feel better. Actually, it's better to be butt naked and get on with it."
The 35-year-old actor engages in a series of sex scenes with co-star Lara Pulver in TV drama series 'Fleming: The Man Who Would Be Bond', but insists he has never been inappropriately aroused whilst filming due to the unromantic atmosphere on set.
Dominic explained: "I've been quite lucky enough to not have [been aroused]. I think probably when I first had to do it that was a real fear but you learn quite quickly that you are surrounded by hairy blokes with cameras in their hands and microphones, and it's the last place you would get aroused. Plus you're not doing it with someone who you should really get aroused with anyway."
'Fleming: The Man Who Would Be Bond' is released on DVD today (10.03.14).

Mark Wahlberg will receive the Generation Award at the MTV Movie Awards.
The 'Transformers: Age of Extinction' actor will be presented with the prestigious honour at the MTV Movie Awards next month by the cast of 'Entourage', the show which he served on as executive producer.
Stephen Friedman, President of MTV, said: "Mark Wahlberg is the definition of a modern day Renaissance Man: from Dirk Diggler to 'The Departed,' 'The Basketball Diaries' to 'Ted,' 'Entourage' to 'The Fighter,' in front of the camera and behind - he's done it all and he's always memorable.
"Mark has captivated the MTV audience for over 20 years, and for this rare feat, we're proud to recognize him with this year's Generation Award."
The awards ceremony - which will be hosted by Conan O'Brien - will mark the first reunion of 'Entourage' stars Adrian Grenier, Kevin Connolly, Kevin Dillon and Jerry Ferrara before the spin-off movie, which is released next year.
The Generation Award is handed out to "an artist who has shown us a variety of impressive roles, a personal and professional flair and of course, an awesome level of talent" and previous recipients have included Johnny Depp, Jamie Foxx, Reese Witherspoon, Sandra Bullock, Tom Cruise and Mike Myers.
The 2014 MTV Movie Awards will take place on April 13 at the Nokia Theatre in Hollywood.
