Barack Obama slams The Hangover trilogy

Barack Obama has mocked 'The Hangover Part III' during an interview with Zach Galifianakis.
The US President showed his sense of humour during an appearance on 'Between Two Ferns', a spoof chat show hosted by the actor - who played Alan Garner in the comedy franchise - as he also criticised the host's acting skills.
The 44-year-old actor asked Obama: "What is it like to be the last black president? It must kinda stink, though, that you can't run three times," to which the president replied: "No, actually, I think it's a good idea. If I ran a third time it would sorta be like doing a third 'Hangover' movie ... it didn't really work out very well did it?"
He went on to say: "I have to say I've seen this show before and some of the episodes have probably been a little bit better than this. For example, the one with Bradley Cooper, that was a great show," adding, "He kinda carried that movie didn't he?"
Zach is seen shuffling in his seat before asking: "Which film are you speaking of?" and Obama quipped, "Those 'Hangover' movies, basically, he carried them."
Obama, 52, described Bradley, who was Zach's co-star in the movies, as a "good looking guy" and the comedian hit back, saying: "Good for him ... being like that in Hollywood, that's easy, try being short, fat and smell like Doritos and try and make it in Hollywood."
Zach went on to call the president a "nerd", an insult he laughed off.
He responded: "Do you think a woman like Michelle would marry a nerd, why don't you ask if she thinks I'm a nerd?"
Obama was also quizzed about sending "ambassador Dennis Rodman" to North Korea and outlawing "same-sex divorce".
The interview, which was recorded two weeks ago, helped to promote healthcare.gov and was posted on website Funny or Die today (11.03.14).
Obama followed in the footsteps of stars including Justin Bieber and James Franco who have appeared in the cult online videos.

Jennifer Lopez is more confident

Jennifer Lopez feels "more confident" than ever.
The 44-year-old 'American Idol' judge - who is currently working on the talent show and filming a new TV drama, as well as preparing to release her 10th album and overseeing her clothing line for Kohls - no longer worries about failing because she is always ready to pick herself up from a setback.
She said: "I feel like I felt when I was 28. My bones don't hurt. I feel great. I actually feel better, more confident. Of course I still have the nerves, but now I know how to control them. When I was in my twenties, I wasn't sure of myself. Now I can really stretch. I don't have to stay in the box. At this point I can say to myself, 'So what if I fall, so what?' I'm going to get back up."
The 44-year-old star - who has six-year-old twins Max and Emme with ex-husband Marc Anthony - believes there has been a shift in recent years to celebrate older women and she thinks females in the spotlight can now enjoy longer careers.
Speaking to the new edition of America's InStyle magazine, she said: "The turning point was a couple of years ago when the September issue of women's magazines had cover girls who were all over 40 - Jennifer Aniston, Halle Berry, Sandra Bullock, Julia Roberts, me. It was hard not to be happy. That says something about our society. People used to believe their life - or at least their life as a performer - was over at 28 or some ungodly age! God, when I think of myself back then, I had no idea who I was. I think I'm barely getting that under control now."

Tinie Tempah more confident with girls

Tinie Tempah feels more "confident" around women because of his new exercise regime.
The 25-year-old rapper has transformed his physique in the gym in recent months, and admits he now feels "hotter" than ever.
He said: "Even when I date girls, there's so much of a difference when you're working out and taking pride in your appearance. You're more confident, you feel hotter.
"Exercise has definitely spilled over into everything else. Just knowing how hard you have to work; you realise it's no different to any other aspect of your life."
The 'Pass Out' hitmaker decided to get in shape because of the mental and physical challenges involved with a gruelling tour and now loves the buzz he gets from exercise.
Speaking to the new edition of Men's Health magazine, he said: "I was doing loads of touring off and I started to realise how much effort you have to put in and how much stamina you need; the stages were getting bigger, the sets were getting longer.
"So the physical aspect prompted me to go to the gym, but also the mental aspect. It's almost like a different kind of wake-up call. You wake up and go to the gym then you're really awake, because you're sweating, your heart rate's up... that was what kept me coming back.
"More so than it being about having everything, being in shape shows discipline and that you're not lazy within yourself."
The Men's Health Urban Active April issue is on sale now, and is also available in digital format.

Ciara spends $20,000 on safari-themed nursery

Ciara has spent $20,000 on a safari-themed nursery for her unborn child.
The 'Goodies' singer - who is due to give birth to her first child with her fiance, rapper Future, next month - embarked on an extensive shopping spree at pricey baby store Petit Tresor in Los Angeles, coming away with a host of stuffed animals, lion bookends and art work, including a $1,800 8-foot stuffed giraffe, TMZ reports.
The extravagant spree isn't the first time in recent months Ciara has been spotted flashing her cash for her unborn baby.
The 29-year-old star was spotted at another baby boutique, Bel Bambini, with friend Kim Kardashian in Hollywood last month.
The reality TV star is a "regular" at the store as she regularly shops there for her and Kanye West's nine-month-old daughter North.
A source said: "Kim is a regular here and she was showing Ciara around, helping her pick out a few items in anticipation of her baby's arrival. They looked at a few different cribs and bedding designs and also some feeding apparatuses that we carry. They were both upbeat, smiling and sharing the joys of being pregnant. It was a nice moment for the girls and we adore them."
As well as planning for her baby, Ciara is also getting ready for her wedding later in the year but is yet to decide on all the details of her big day.
She has previously said: "I still want it to be a fun process, but I want the dress to be perfect, I want the cake to be perfect, I want the food to be perfect."

Kristen Bell peed in a jar before Oscars

Kristen Bell peed in a jar before this year's Academy Awards.
The 33-year-old actress was forced to relieve herself in an unconventional manner before making her way to the 2014 Oscars ceremony in Hollywood earlier this month because her stunning Roberto Cavalli gown made visiting the bathroom difficult.
Speaking of the uncomfortable corseted designer dress to co-host Michael Strahan on 'Live With Kelly and Michael' last night (09.03.14), she said: "Nope, [it wasn't comfortable] and I didn't realise that until I got into it.
"There was a situation ... there was a Mason jar involved."
As the audience laughed she added: "Like you guys haven't peed into a Mason jar before in a huge ball gown!"
The 'Frozen' star - who made her debut appearance at this year's awards - also made the mistake of not eating enough before the big night because she didn't realise how long the evening would be.
She said: "This was my first time going ... You have a hair and a make-up person, [so] by the time you get into the dress you realise that you've been sitting there for like three hours. And then there's always traffic, so that's almost four hours. Then you get there and that's why everyone in the audience looks emaciated, because everyone's hungry!"
Luckily for this year's attendees, host Ellen DeGeneres ordered a round of pizzas during the show to feed the ravenous audience.

Kris Jenner had ‘major role’ in Kanye proposal

Kris Jenner claims she played a "major role" in planning Kanye West's proposal to Kim Kardashian.
The showbiz matriarch insists she was "directly involved" in arranging the lavish engagement at San Francisco's AT&T Park last October and had a key role in getting all their loved ones together.
In a court declaration in Kim and Kanye's lawsuit against YouTube co-founder Chad Hurley - who they claim illegally leaked footage of the proposal - Kris said: "I played a major role in organising and running the event.
"As part of this. I was directly involved in formulating and was familiar with the guest list."
In her declaration, Kris went on to say Chad had attended the proposal "event" - which boasted a 50-piece orchestra, champagne and fireworks - with an invited guest, but was not a friend of the family.
In documents obtained by RadarOnline.com, she said: "[Chad] did show up with someone else who was an invited guest, bur Mr. Hurley was not invited by the organisers of the event.
"He was not even invited to attend; Kim and Kanye did not know him.
"We would not have been upset in the least if he had to leave -- or never even attended in the first place -- and he had not earned the trust of Kim, Kanye, or me."
The couple had sold the rights to broadcast the proposal - which aired recently on 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' - at a high price on an "exclusive basis" and in her declaration, Kim insisted the leaked footage would "diminish" the value of the official film.
She went on to add: "There were certainly tweets and other written messages about the event and a small number of snapshot photos and other brief images appeared, but there were no photos of the marriage proposal itself.
"Importantly, there were certainly no videos of the marriage proposal that were publicly broadcast at the time that Mr. Hurley posted his video footage."
A hearing has been set for March 18, to determine if the lawsuit will proceed to trial.

Katie Price doesn’t use contraception

Katie Price doesn't use contraception.
The former glamour model - who has children Harvey, 11, Junior, eight, and Princess, six, from previous relationships and five-month-old Jett with husband Kieran Hayler - laughed off claims she is already planning to have another baby, insisting the "last thing" her busy household needs is another youngster, though she admits she and her spouse have unprotected sex.
She said: "I was amused to hear that a mag says I'm trying for a baby girl. Jett is only six months and I haven't got my body back yet! The last thing I need right now is another screaming baby. It's true I don't use contraception but I'm not planning to get pregnant and I'm not on a special baby diet."
While she's not trying for another daughter, Katie, 35, has been asked to be a godparent to her close friends daughter Lily-Belle and is delighted to be close enough to watch the tiny tot grow up.
She added in her column for Now magazine: "This week my friend Abi and her fiancé Greg welcomed Lily-Belle into the world. I've been asked to be her godmother - I cant wait to watch this gorgeous girl grow up!"

Beyonce shuns partying for family

Beyonce "doesn't really go out" since becoming a mother.
The 32-year-old singer shunned a glitzy afterparty at The Wright Venue in Swords following her show in Dublin, Ireland, on Saturday (08.03.14) to return to her penthouse suite at the Fitzwilliam Hotel with husband Jay Z and their daughter Blue Ivy, two, and insiders say it is usual for her to leave the post-concert celebrating to her crew, management, dancers and backing singers The Mamas.
A source told Ireland's Evening Herald newspaper: "Beyonce's manager said that she doesn't really go out anymore because she is a mum now.
"They released 200 balloons into the crowd and were pouring vodka shots for people. A singer from The Mamas was also up performing her own songs so it was a great night."
During a day off from her Irish shows yesterday (10.03.14), Beyonce and Jay Z took their daughter to Dublin's Phoenix Park, where they went virtually undetected by other families as they spent half an hour in the playground of the park's visitors centre.
The couple, along with their security team, then enjoyed dinner at fashionable eatery Coppinger Row.
And it seems the pair have been enjoying the culinary delights of the city, as following the 'Drunk in Love' hitmaker's show on Sunday (09.03.14), the "extremely humble" couple dined at upmarket eatery Fade Street Social, which opened late just for them.
Beyonce dined on pumpkin flatbreads garnished with fresh rosemary, parmesan, onion purée, sliced chestnut and fried mushroom, while her spouse had a classic strip steak and chips.
A spokesperson for the restaurant said the couple arrived at 11pm.
The representative said: "Usually the kitchen is closing around then but we held on for a few minutes to accommodate them. They were extremely nice and friendly and left very happy."

P. Diddy buying TV channel

P. Diddy has reportedly bid $200 million for a TV station.
The 43-year-old music mogul is one of several investors who have entered talks to acquire cable channel Fuse, which is currently owned by New York-based Madison Square Garden Company (MSG), and incorporate it into his Revolt TV channel, which is backed by Comcast Corp. (CMCSA), three sources told Bloomberg.
According to one of the sources, if Diddy - whose real name is Sean Combs - purchases Fuse, Revolt TV will gain wider distribution and higher subscriber fees. The channel currently reaches around 22.8 million US homes and is carried by Comcast and Time Warner Cable Inc. (TWC), compared with the 74 million audience Fuse currently reaches through pay-TV systems including Cablevision Systems Corporation (CVC) and DirecTV (DTV).
MSG refused to comment on the speculation as talks are still "ongoing".
Their spokesperson, Kimberly Kerns, said: "As we have stated, we are exploring strategic alternatives for Fuse, and will have no further comment during what is still an ongoing process."
As well as Revolt TV, Diddy's business interests have also included clothing lines and fragrances, restaurants and he recently jointly purchased an upmarket tequila company.
For the latter venture, he again teamed up with Diageo PLC - with who he has a joint marketing and profit-sharing deal for Ciroc vodka - to acquire luxury alcohol brand DeLeon for an undisclosed sum.
Diddy said: "With Ciroc, we dated. Now with DeLeon, we're married. This deal is way better. This makes me a true owner."
