Simon Cowell has bought his baby an Aston Martin pram.
The media mogul - who, along with his partner Lauren Silverman, welcomed their son into the world last month - has paid £2,000 on the top-of-the range buggy so that Eric can enjoy the same luxuries in life as his father.
A source told The Sun on Sunday newspaper: "Simon is used to enjoying ultimate luxury wherever he goes and of course he wants the same for his son."
The couple bought the pram during a recent shopping trip to Harrods, leading the upmarket department store to sell out of the item - with only 800 models made - which they describe as "the world's most outstanding contemporary baby travel system".
The store also claims it "cocoons and protects like no other".
The pricey pram features a hand stitched Italian leather interior, and is modelling off the £1.2 million Aston Martin One-77 coupe.
Simon recently insisted he was "born" for fatherhood, although he admitted he had his doubts before the birth of his son.
He said: "I was born to be a dad ... I actually said to Lauren beforehand, 'What if I like the dogs more than him?' - and she said, 'You're gonna be absolutely fine,' and then literally within seconds of him being born, I got it!"

John Legend thinks fatherhood has "changed" Kanye West.
The 'Ordinary Love' singer, who is friends with the rapper and his fiancée Kim Kardashian, feels the pair are well-suited and says the birth of their nine-month-old daughter North has had a real affect on Kanye.
John told BANG Showbiz: "I think fatherhood has changed him, it can't help but change you when you have this beautiful young thing depending on you to protect them and nurture them."
The 35-year-old singer, who married model Chrissy Tiegan last year in Italy, thinks Kanye's wedding will be much more "grand" than his own nuptials were.
He said: "He's engaged to Kim now, once you're engaged it's like you're already married anyway, you've made that commitment to each other, it's damn near official.
"I'm excited for him and Kim, I think they're great for each other. Kanye came to my wedding and I know he loved that experience, I don't know what he'll do for his own but he's a little more grand than I am.
"Ours was really beautiful and picturesque and more of a destination wedding. I'm just happy for him and Kim, and their child is beautiful."
But despite being more reserved than his controversial friend, he insists he doesn't give him advice when it comes to his opinions or personal life.
He said: "We're both grown-ups, we've all been through a lot and seen a lot. I don't think we need each other's advice on this sort of thing.
"We know what we're doing. We definitely talk about music a lot and our opinions about art. I don't really try and tell him how to run his social life, nor does he do that to me."

Mötley Crüe's Nikki Sixx has got married.
The legendary rocker tied the knot with Courtney Bingham after three years with the model in a ceremony in front of their family and friends yesterday (15.03.14).
Taking to Twitter after the ceremony, he wrote: "Hot damn. I'm a married man.... @how2girl looked absolutely beautiful.Now it's time to PARTY. (sic)"
A representative for the couple also confirmed the news to People magazine, and the pair were wed at Greystone Mansion in Los Angeles.
The ceremony - which was attended by 130 guests - is said to have had a Gothic rock and French countryside theme.
Those who celebrated the happy day with the newlyweds were greeted by peacocks, while they later enjoyed a triple berry dessert from Sweet Lady Jane - a favourite of Courtney's.
While the bride wore a custom ivory gown, the groom went with a black suit with a black bandana tied around his head.
The iconic bassist's proposal was announced back in November 2012, and he said they were "beyond happy".
He tweeted: "When Courtney and I were in St Bart's I popped the question and she said YES....We would like to thank everybody who has been tweeting and posting online us congratulations....Both of us and our families are beyond happy."

George Michael reveals he quit smoking cannabis "over a year-and-a-half" ago.
The 'Faith' hitmaker explained he has "completely stopped" taking the drug, and been clean for over 18 months.
Asked if he still smokes marijuana, he told The Big Issue magazine: "Not at all. I've completely stopped. I haven't touched it for well over a year-and-a-half now."
The star also revealed how his stay in Pentonville prison in 2010 - following a car crash while high on cannabis and anti-anxiety pill Amitriptyline - was "easier" than he expected because he knew it was "deserved".
He explained: "Jail wasn't great. I just thought, get your head down and get on with it.
"It turned out to be easier than I was expecting because I knew I deserved to be there ... I was pretty overwhelmed by the love and support [the fans] showed me."
He also opened up about his battle with pneumonia a few years ago, during which he spent weeks in an intensive care unit.
He said: "On a sub-conscious level it was very frightening and I'll probably never feel quite as safe again.
"But I was just so grateful to come out alive and get back to my home in London."

Nicole Scherzinger has accepted Lewis Hamilton's proposal.
The couple are said to be engaged after reports the Pussycat Doll had snubbed his three previous offers of marriage following their reconciliation late last year.
A source told the Daily Star Sunday newspaper: "Lewis is doing his best to keep the news under wraps but he is absolutely delighted. He got down on one knee and Nicole finally accepted.
"The plan is they are going to live together in Switzerland and travel together when Lewis is racing."
It is said the decision for her to "support him" while he focuses on her Formula 1 efforts will mean Nicole takes a step back in her own career for a while.
The insider added: "Of course, this means her career will have to take a back seat for a while but she is ready to support him on the track.
"Lewis will be the main breadwinner when Nicole is not working and she will always have access to his private jet if she needs to travel.
"It is the ideal plan for both of them and will hopefully lead to a big summer wedding in August when Lewis has a three-week break from his F1 schedule."

Emilia Clarke has been banned from eating "anything that tastes good".
The 26-year-old actress is currently undergoing a gruelling regime of preparation ahead of appearing as Sarah Connor in 'Terminator: Genesis', and her strict diet includes a ban on wheat, sugar, caffeine or dairy.
She said: "I have not been allowed to eat anything that might taste at all good. But don't think I'm complaining because, believe me, I know exactly how lucky I am."
Eyeing a high tea spread of sandwiches, scones, cookies, sweets, cream and teas, she added: "Everything on these plates look amazing but, heartbreakingly, I'm not allowed to eat any of it. Not one thing on this table. Except a cup of tea. One cup of tea. No sugar. No cream."
As well as her diet, the 'Game of Thrones'' star has been "kicking a lot of ass" in fight training for her new role.
She told Britain's InStyle magazine: "I've been spending all day, every day in weapons training. I've been shooting guns, weightlifting, kick boxing and generally kicking a lot of ass."

Perrie Edwards has asked Zayn Malik to help her work out.
The Little Mix star - who got engaged to the One Direction star in August last year - wants her hunky fiance to "motivate" her to get fit since she's too "lazy" to do it herself.
Perrie said: "I've asked Zayn to [help me work out] because I'm really lazy and I need motivating but we never have time."
The pint-sized blonde insists she doesn't wear make-up to the gym because she thinks it will give her bad skin, and band mates Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jesy Nelson agree.
Asked about whether she wears make-up to the gym, Leigh-Anne said: "Oh, no way!"
Perrie explained: "When you wear make-up in the gym you're sweaty and then you get really bad skin. You're better off just taking it off - letting yourself sweat and then putting it on nicely rather than getting it on your pores."
Jesy added: "When we do dance rehearsals I have to have make-up on. I like to get into character, like Beyonce and Sasha Fierce, and I can't do it if I don't have make-up on or I'll feel rank. But if it's just the gym, then definitely not."
Perrie also admitted she often tricks herself into thinking household chores, including walking to the fridge, count as exercise, while bandmate Jade Thirlwall insists housework can be strenuous.
Perrie told We Love Pop magazine: "I'll walk up the stairs instead of getting the escalator or I'll walk to the fridge and be like, 'Yeah, that was good for me'. "
Jade said: "When I have a day off and I do all the housework I'm exhausted by the end of it. It is very strenuous."

Suki Waterhouse looks like a "tramp" when she's lounging around at home.
The 22-year-old model - who is dating Bradley Cooper - doesn't make an effort to look good when she's hanging out at home and claims she needs help to look "presentable".
She explained: "Well, there's my presentable self and my normal self. I'm the laziest person - that's my normal self. When I'm hanging around my house, I literally look like a tramp. I love being comfortable and having no make-up on. As soon as I get into my house I put on sweats and pyjamas. I love fashion and that's where my presentable self comes in. But I need help - if I didn't have a stylist and make-up artist, I'd look like s**t."
Suki goes through phases where she switches her look and admits she recently she donned 90s art teacher look with bright colours and patterns, but currently prefers "biker chic".
She told LOOK magazine: "It changes constantly with what I buy and new things I have. I went through a phase about a month ago of dressing like a 90s art teacher, kind of Drew Barrymore.
"I got loads of leather trousers form Burberry so I'm quite into biker chic with flats. I've got Jimmy Choo flats and a thick Mulberry sheepskin jacket. I also just got some wicked new Christopher Kane stuff. I'm quite into crop tops at the moment too."

Rihanna pushed a man out of the men's toilet so that she could use it.
The 'Pour It Up' singer has been filmed entering the restroom and grabbing an unknown male by the arm before shoving him out and closing the door behind her, during her recent trip to Zouk Restaurant, Manchester on Thursday night (13.03.14).
In a video obtained by MailOnline, Drake, who had joined Rihanna at the posh restaurant, was also filmed leaving the same restroom just moments later, and while it's unclear whether the couple were inside at the same time, it's raised question as to whether the pair enjoyed a secret tryst together.
Whilst inside the restaurant, Rihanna and Drake enjoyed a private meal with 16 guests after closing down the popular eatery where they stayed until the early hours of the morning.
A source told E! News: "They were with a total of 16 people, including bodyguards and assistants. They were really enjoying themselves...The bill was about $6,000 to $7,000. We closed the entire restaurant for them."
Drake - who had been performing in the city for the UK leg of his 'Would You Like A Tour?' world tour, reportedly treated guests to tracks from his new and unreleased album.
The insider added: "They enjoyed the food and even had a dance party. They were all dancing."
The sighting is just the latest outing for the pair who appear to have rekindled their brief romance following Rihanna's on-off relationship with Chris Brown.
