Anna Wintour praises Kim Kardashian

Anna Wintour thinks Kim Kardashian has "real guts."
The US Vogue editor, who previously had a frosty relationship with the reality TV star despite being close friends with her fiancée Kanye West, claims she decided to put the 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' beauty on the cover of the magazine's April edition because she admires Kim's "strength of character."
In her editor's letter for Vogue's Shape issue, the cover of which features the 'New Slaves' hitmaker with his arms around Kim, who is wearing a strapless Lanvin wedding dress, the fashion icon, 64, writes: "There's barely a strand of the modern media that the Kardashian Wests haven't been able to master, and for good reason.
"Kanye is an amazing performer and cultural provocateur, while Kim, through her strength of character, has created a place for herself in the glare of the world's spotlight, and it takes real guts to do that."
She said that the magazine has a tradition of "being able to feature those who define the culture at any given moment, who stir things up, whose presence in the world shapes the way it looks and influences the way we see it."
She joked added: "I think we can all agree on the fact that that role is currently being played by Kim and Kanye to a T. (Or perhaps that should be to a K?)."
Kim and Kanye also posed for photographs with their nine-month-old daughter North West for the first time in the magazine, and a source told People.com that everyone was impressed by the E! star.
The insider said: "Annie and Grace Coddington [Vogue Creative Director] we're so impressed with how professional Kim was. They all laughed throughout the shoot and had so much fun.
"Kim tried tons of wedding gowns made for her by every designer."
Another source added: "Kim is so grateful and loved shooting this with Kanye and North."

Chris Brown feels like ‘a caged animal’

Chris Brown has vowed to turn his life around.
The 'Fine China' singer, who was transferred to a jail in Los Angeles after he was kicked out of a court-ordered rehab facility last Friday (14.03.14), and must stay there until his next probation violation hearing on April 23, has told friends he is absolutely miserable behind bars.
A source, who recently spoke to the 24-year-old star, told gossip website TMZ.com that Chris said being in prison is "the worst experience of my life," and he feels like "a caged animal."
He also reportedly said: "I'll never f**k up again."
The 'Don't Wake Me Up' singer has been spending his time in jail writing new music and working out.
But Chris could be out of jail early next week, as his lawyer is close to reaching a civil settlement with a man the star allegedly assaulted in Washington D.C.
The Grammy-Award winner's representative Mark Geragos is said to have offered Parker Adams, who claims Chris broke his nose and hurled a homophobic slur at him last October, a large financial deal in the hopes of convincing him to tell prosecutors he no longer wants to participate in the criminal case against the star.
Chris, who was first placed on probation in 2009 after assaulting his then-girlfriend Rihanna, is facing a misdemeanour assault charge in relation to the incident and could be sentenced to four years in jail if convicted.

Blake Lively loves having a personal life

Blake Lively is glad she took some time off to enjoy being a newlywed with Ryan Reynolds.
The former 'Gossip Girl' star tied the knot with the actor, 37, in a secret ceremony near Charleston, South Carolina, in September 2012, and admits it was "really nice" to take a break from the spotlight for most of last year to focus on their relationship.
The 26-year-old actress told the April issue of Elle magazine: "Having a personal life has been really nice. I'd been on Gossip Girl 10 months a year for six years, shooting 15-hour days, so I hadn't had time to just be since I graduated from high school."
She added: "It's been nice to kind of settle into my own skin and work on things I really love."
But the blonde beauty is now ready to reignite her career and is currently filming 'The Age of Adaline' in her husband's native Vancouver, Canada.
A source told E! News that Blake has been working very hard on the movie and pulling all-nighters this week.
The movie, which also stars Harrison Ford, is set to be released next year.

Alyssa Milano is pregnant again

Alyssa Milano is expecting her second child.
The 41-year-old actress, who recently admitted she and her husband David Bugliari were "actively trying" to give their two-year-old son Milo a sibling, has revealed she is pregnant again.
The 'Mistresses' star announced the happy news on her blog on Friday (21.03.14), writing: "We are so happy to share with you that Milo is going to be a big brother!"
She also shared a link to the post on Twitter, writing: "Ahem! Click here for some BIG, HUGE, HAPPY news."
Last month the brunette beauty joked that her husband, who is a Hollywood agent, was even taking supplements in a bid to increase her chances of getting pregnant.
She said: "We are actively trying. David's] just chugging down ginseng [a herbal remedy believed to increase sex drive and improve erectile function in men]."
Alyssa - who shot to fame on 'Who's the Boss' when she was 11 years old - was forced to defend her post baby body after being insulted by 'Suburgatory' star Jay Mohr during a radio interview in December.
He said: "It seems like she had a baby and said, 'I don't really give a s**t'.... I read it on her gut."
Alyssa challenged him on Twitter after hearing the rude remarks but eventually accepted his apology.

Chris Hemsworth and wife welcome twin boys

Chris Hemsworth's wife Elsa Pataky has given birth to twin boys.
The 'Thor' star and the Spanish actress, who also have a 22-month-old daughter India Rose, welcomed their sons into the world at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in West Hollywood on Thursday (20.03.14), according to UsMagazine.com.
A spokesperson for the couple confirmed the news but no further information is being released at this time.
An insider previously revealed that two security guards accompanied the couple to the hospital on Thursday afternoon after Elsa went into labour and watched over their private suite.
Proud father Chris, 30, previously gushed about family life and admitted he is happiest when he is with his wife and daughter.
He said: "Being a father is certainly a task. But the best one that I could ever ask for. Being home, being with the family, that's what it's about ... It makes me much more relaxed with work, because I have something that is far more important to me now."
The actor married Elsa, 37, in 2010 after a whirlwind romance.
The blonde beauty went grocery shopping with some family members in Malibu on Monday (17.03.14), before stopping to pick up a healthy green juice.

Kim Kardashian lands the cover of US Vogue

Kim Kardashian says securing the front cover of US Vogue is "a dream come true."
The 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' beauty was snapped by famed photographer Annie Leibovitz for the magazine's April issue with her rapper fiancé Kanye West, after he reportedly spent more than a year trying to convince its editor Anna Wintour to like the reality TV star.
Clearly ecstatic, the 33-year-old star shared an image of the cover on Twitter, which shows her wearing a strapless white wedding dress with Kanye standing behind her with his arms wrapped around her waist, a nod to their upcoming wedding in Paris on May 24, shortly after it was released on the magazine's website on Friday (21.03.14).
She tweeted: "This is such a dream come true!!! Thank you @VogueMagazine for this cover! O M GGGGGG!!! I can't even breath! (sic)"
Her mother Kris Jenner also shared the image and tweeted: "Gorgeous!!!! @voguemagazine kimkardashian @kanyewest #amazing #stunning #soproudofyoutwo #AnnieLeibowitz (sic)"
A source first revealed in March 2013 that Kanye was on a mission to get Kim on the cover of Vogue despite Anna allegedly branding Kim as "the worst thing since socks and sandals."
The insider also claimed that the style icon said Kim would only appear in the esteemed magazine "over her dead body".
Kim and Anna's feud has been well documented in the past.
The 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' star was banned from attending the star-studded Met Gala in New York in 2012 because Anna believed she "didn't fit the bill," and she was only invited to the annual event last year because Kanye was performing.
A source said at the time: "Anna hates Kim. Why would she be invited to the event? It is all the biggest stars in the world and Kim doesn't fit that bill at all. The Met Gala is $25,000 a ticket, but Kim couldn't even buy her way in."
The fashion editor also allegedly ignored Kim at New York Fashion Week in September 2012, but she recently sat beside Kim's half-sister Kendall Jenner at Topshop's runway show at London Fashion Week suggesting the famous family had finally won her over.

Justin Bieber knows how to charm Selena Gomez

Selena Gomez reportedly can't resist Justin Bieber because he is "very charming".
The 'Come & Get It' hitmaker, 21, felt "very empowered" after checking into a rehab facility for two weeks in January to "clear her mind," but friends aren't surprised she has reunited with her on/off boyfriend because he always knows how to win her back.
A source told People magazine: "He's very charming. I'm not sure what's going on with him right now, but he's very smart, and used to be a very fun and funny kid.
"Whenever they're not talking, he has to do something to get her attention, like posting [a photo of her at the Vanity Fair Oscars party], captioned 'most elegant princess.' He reaches out, then says he's going to come see her and she's like, 'Okay.' It's a pattern on his part. The sad part is, she always goes back to him."
Justin, 20, who has been dating Selena on and off since 2010, also dedicated a song to the brunette beauty during a surprise performance in Texas earlier this month.
He turned up at the Banger's Sausage House and Beer Garden in Austin for the South by Southwest festival and sang his hit 'As Long As You Love Me' for his "baby", who was standing in the wings.
But Selena's friends, including her best pal Taylor Swift, are sick of the drama and want her to end her relationship with Justin for good.
The insider said: "I believe Taylor's gotten fed up with it. [Swift and Gomez] still talk, but she doesn't want to hear about it anymore."
Selena's family also want her to move on but don't know how to help her.
The source said: "They feel like they've done all they could for her, and there's nothing else to do. At this point, she has to figure it out on her own."

Lady Gaga defends controversial performance

Lady Gaga has no regrets about hiring a woman to vomit on her.
The 27-year-old star caused controversy when she brought so-called vomit painter Millie Brown on stage during her performance at South By Southwest in Austin, Texas last week to throw up a green liquid all over her, but she maintains it was "art in the purest form."
She told the Today show on Friday (21.03.14): "I guess we weren't completely surprised [by the controversy].
"Millie and I know that not everybody's going to love that performance, but we both really believe in artistic expression and strong identities. And I support her and what she does."
The unusual performance was slammed by former bulimia sufferer Demi Lovato on Twitter, who accused her of glamorising eating disorders.
She tweeted: "Bottom line, it's not 'cool' or 'artsy' at all. Putting the word ART in it isn't a free card to do whatever you want without consequences."
But Lady Gaga argued: "'ARTPOP', my new album, is about bringing art and music together in the spirit of creative rebellion. And for [me and Millie], that performance was art in its purest form. But we totally understand that people won't be into it."
She added: "Did we want the controversy? I suppose it doesn't matter either way. We don't make things for any intention in particular, other than in the spirit of entertaining the crowd and creating something that was really for the moment.
"We sometimes think that there's a perception that what I'm doing is all a big show. And I really truly feel that it's just part of who I am. Every moment of my life is devoted to my music and to my fans, and it's really truly me."

Fergie: Axl Jack is a ‘screamer’

Fergie says her baby son is a "screamer".
The Black Eyed Peas frontwoman has revealed seven-month-old Axl Jack - her first child with husband Josh Duhamel - is eager for attention and unleashes "high-pitched" squeals when he's excited.
Fergie gushed: "He's a screamer! There's always this high-pitched scream going throughout the house. It's not him complaining or crying. He just gets excited and he wants to scream!"
The 38-year-old pop star even joins in on her son's vocal moments, dubbing them "mommy scream-offs".
She added to E! News: "Those are exciting!"
Fergie is rumoured to be reuniting with her Black Eyed Peas bandmates to release a new album soon, but until that happens she is loving motherhood and being at home with little Axl Jack.
She said: "The best part of being a mum is just hanging out with my kid. He's my homie! I'm just listening, talking back with him and trying to teach him words like 'nose' and 'dancing'. Daddy is trying to teach him 'ball' and I'm trying to teach him 'dance'."
The 'Big Girls Don't Cry' hitmaker also praised her supportive husband, Josh, 41.
She added: "He's dad of the year, he's the best partner to have a kid with."
