Kanye West is reportedly "begging people to invite" Kim Kardashian to Hollywood events.
The 36-year-old rapper is eager for his fiancee - whom is the mother of his 10-month-old daughter North - to join him at elite parties and meetings, but people keep rejecting her.
A source told RadarOnline.com: "Kanye is begging people to invite Kim to events or meetings with the cream of the crop in Hollywood, but so many people are refusing.
"He's a serious star that people really respect, especially as a businessman, but they want nothing to do with Kim."
The 33-year-old reality TV star and her mother Kris Jenner were desperate to attend the Vanity Fair Oscar party last month, but they weren't invited to the posh event.
The source explained: "Kim is just not welcome at the same places Kanye is.
"Another problem is that Kanye is pushing not only for people to accept Kim but her mother Kris too! That is definitely not going to happen. People want Kris around even less than they want Kim."
However, the pal insists Kanye, who managed to talk US VOGUE editor Anna Wintour into having him and Kim on the front cover of this month's issue, shouldn't be underestimated by his powers of persuasion.
The source said: "Kanye usually knows how to get what he wants. Whether it's going to directly to a studio head or the person in charge of an event, he has no fair."
Meanwhile, Kim and Kanye, who got engaged in October, are set to tie the knot next month in Paris, France.

Alesha Dixon admits she was never very "maternal".
The 35-year-old singer is surprised by how much she loves being a mother to her five-month-old daughter Azura because she never really had a desire to have a baby.
She said: "Every day, I look at Azura and I think, 'I can't believe she's mine.' I feel so lucky. I was never the most maternal one of my friends, but I've surprised myself with how much I love being a mum."
The brunette beauty hates being away from the youngster when she carries out her judging duties on 'Britain's Got Talent', but she admits the tot is never far away in her mind.
She explained: "When I'm at work, she's constantly on my mind so I'm always asking for photos and checking she's alright. It does pull at my heart. It's not easy, but I always say to myself, 'She's with her dad, she's with her nan, she's fine.' It's a juggling act, but millions of women do it."
Meanwhile, Alesha has been dating Azuka Ononoye for five years, but she admits she's not keen on taking their relationship to the next level by getting married just yet.
She told The Sun newspaper: "It's not that I don't care [for marriage]. Even though I was married before and it didn't work out, I believe in living the moment, so if I wanted to one day, I would totally be open to it. Never say never."

Rebecca Ferguson is "shocked" after two members of her family were shot on Tuesday (01.04.14).
The 27-year-old singer has been left "terrified" after her children's grandfather, Karl senior, and uncle Craig were victims in a suspected drive-by shooting in Liverpool.
A source told the Sunday Mirror newspaper: "Rebecca is absolutely shocked by it."
Despite splitting from her kids' father, also called Karl, the brunette beauty is still in contact with him and his family.
The source explained: "Obviously her first thought is for the children who are still a big part of Karl and his family's lives.
"Rebecca always puts their welfare first. Her priority is to make sure they're safe and that they feel secure at all times."
Karl senior, 51, was shot in the leg while Craig, 27, was hit in the face as they stood on a street corner.
Both men were recovering in the Royal Liverpool Hospital last night (05.04.14), but there has been no news on their conditions as of yet.
Two men and a woman were arrested in connection with the shooting.
A 36-year-old man has been held on suspicion of attempted murder, while a 32-year-old man and a 26-year-old woman have been bailed in connection with the crime.

Kerry Katona has given birth to a baby girl.
The 33-year-old star - who already has daughters Molly, 12, and Lilly-Sue, 11, with her first husband Brian McFadden and Heidi, seven, and Max, five, with second husband Mark Croft - welcomed her fifth child into the world on Friday night (04.04.14) with her fiancé George Kay by her side.
George took to Twitter to thank his beau for giving birth to his first child.
He tweeted: "Thank you for bringing my beautiful daughter into this world last night! You are both amazing (sic)."
Kerry has been bombarded with congratulatory messages since the news broke, including some kind tweets from her former Atomic Kitten band mates.
Liz McClarnon tweeted today (06.04.14): "Well I'm in love, baby Katona/Kay is perfect. I met her finally last night. Well done @KerryKatona7 & @mrgajkay xxxxxxxxxx (sic)."
Natasha Hamilton added: "And a huge congrats to @KerryKatona7 & @mrgsjkay on the arrival of their baby girl. Can't wait to get back to uk and get some cuddles xxx (sic)."
Kerry and George are yet to announce the name of their new bundle of joy.
Meanwhile, the blonde beauty - who filed for bankruptcy a second time last year - admitted last month that her pregnancy had been smooth sailing this time around.
She said previously: "This is the best pregnancy I've ever had. I think it's because I'm happy. George is a great support and I'm genuinely in love."

Miranda Lambert has "no desire" to try her hand at hosting.
The 30-year-old singer insists she won't be following in the footsteps of her husband Blake Shelton and fronting awards show because her "comedic timing isn't good".
She told People.com: "You know, the timing you naturally have to have. Blake is the best.
"I don't know how he does it. I'm not good at that stuff not at all. I would totally fall flat on my face."
Meanwhile, the 'Automatic' hitmaker recently admitted she's calmed down a lot now she's turned 30 because she no longer has the "I'll burn your house down if you don't listen to me" attitude and feels much more "settled".
She said previously: "That attitude brought me here and got me where I am. But that was me in my 20s. The chip on my shoulder is gone.
"At some point, you calm down. I'm happy. I'm more settled. I've put down roots."
However, Miranda insists she didn't feel she had to change for other people because people accepted her personality.
She said: "I feel like people have accepted me for who I am, with all the craziness, loudness and fire."

Kevin Rahm is set to be become a father.
The 'Mad Men' star took to Twitter last night (05.04.14) to announce that he and his wife Amy will welcome their first child - a baby girl - into the world in September.
The 43-year-old actor shared a creative spoof movie poster on his account of him and his wife cuddling, which was accompanied with the caption, "Oh yeah... This is happening (sic)."
Kevin was instantly bombarded with congratulatory messages from his fans and he later thanked them for their support and well wishes.
He then went on to admit that he was "terrified", but "excited" about the arrival of the tiny tot later this year.
The former 'Desperate Housewives' star married Amy, who is a a cardio-thoracic surgeon, on April 28, 2012, on a soundstage in Burbank, California.
The couple, who had been dating for more than five years before they tied the knot, opted for a "county chic" themed wedding and they admit it was "wonderful".
Kevin told the Hollywood Reporter at the time: "We had linens on the table, carnival lights, a bluegrass band, and an ice cream truck. And we had barbecue and we had karaoke."
Amy added: "It was a blast. It was wonderful. It could not have been better. It was excellent. We sang karaoke, we danced all night. It was perfect."

Kate Moss' daughter doesn't want her to look too "sexy".
The 40-year-old model admits her 11-year-old daughter Lila Grace is very protective over what she wears out in the public because she doesn't like her flashing the flesh.
Speaking to The Sunday Times newspaper, she said: "She's my biggest critic.
"If she says, 'Mummy, you look nice,' I know I'm alright because she will definitely tell me if she doesn't like it.
"She doesn't like anything too sexy. 'Mummy, do another button up,' she said to me the other day."
Lila has had an eye for fashion since she was nine and even puts on fashion shows with her friend Iris Law, the daughter of Jude Law and Sadie Frost, from time-to-time.

Bethenny Frankel is writing a children's book.
The 43-year-old reality TV star has been busy penning a story for youngsters, titled 'Cookie and Peanut', with the help of her three-year-old daughter Bryn.
She told People.com: "She's '[Bryn's] the Peanut and my dog's the Cookie. I'm reading her the book, and she's kind of helping me with the story. She likes it - it's really cute and she loves a good children's book."
Meanwhile, the former talkshow host has decided to take time away from her TV career in order to care for Bryn and work on her Skinnygirl cocktail company.
She explained: "I'm taking a really long break right now - I want to focus on my Skinnygirl brand and my daughter. I've been working so hard for so long, and I just really want to rest and enjoy."
However, the former 'Real Housewives of New York' star insists she won't be returning to reality TV in the near future because she doesn't like how intrusive it is.
She said: "It's definitely a personal sacrifice, sharing your personal life, and I think that's what people like to see the most. It's not something I'm interested [in] right now."
'Cookie and Peanut' is due to be published in September.

Rachel Zoe is "tired of being a famous face".
The 42-year-old stylist was reportedly "glad" her reality TV show 'The Rachel Zoe Project' was axed last year because she wants to focus on being a mother to her sons four-month-old Kaius and two-year-old Skyler.
A source told RadarOnline.com: "The transformation has been a slow but profound one and it is definitely sticking.
"Rachel is an awesome mother and has really grown into it with grace and flair, but something had to give, which is why she axed her reality show."
The blonde beauty, who is known for dressing celebrities such as Nicole Richie, has decided to turn her back on reality TV shows and is cutting down on her fashion work.
The source explained: "Rachel's tired of being a famous face and is doubling down on her fashion expertise and her so-so selling line.
"She's turning down offers from networks for new shows. With the new baby, she says she'd have had a meltdown if she was still doing 'The Rachel Zoe Project'."
However, Rachel won't be giving up work completely as she'll still continue to grace the streets with her unique style.
The source added: "Rachel isn't giving up on continuing to be the premiere trendsetter in town and has had huge triumphs with Jennifer Lawrence, but right now Rachel's completely in love with her kids and says it tears her up if she's not in the same room as them."
