Oscar Pistorious cried over Reeva Steenkamp’s body

Oscar Pistorius has told how he cried over the body of his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp.
The Paralympian took to the stand for the second time today (08.04.14) as he told the court of the moments before and after he shot his girlfriend dead and how he broke down when he realised what he'd done.
Speaking about the moment he realised she wasn't in bed, he said: "I ran straight up to the [toilet] door and started hitting it ... I tried to open the door from inside. I unlocked the door. I saw Reeva and sat over her and cried. I don't know how long I was there for.
"She wasn't breathing."
The 27-year-old sprinter - who claims he didn't have his prosthetic legs on during the incident - denies the intentional killing of Reeva, 29, instead insisting he shot her after mistaking her for an intruder.
He explained: "I heard the window opening in the bathroom. That is the moment that everything changed. I thought a burglar was gaining entry into my home.
"The first thing that ran through my mind was that I needed to protect Reeva and myself.
"I could not see anything in the room ... I made my way along the bed and grabbed my firearm. I took off the canvas holster of my firearm.
"As I entered the passageway leading to the bathroom I felt fear and started screaming [at the intruders] to get out. I slowly made my way down the passage constantly aware that these people may come at me at any time.
"Just before I got to the bathroom I heard a door slam. It could only have been the toilet door. It confirmed that there was a person or people inside the bathroom at that time."
After firing four shots through the toilet door, Oscar claims he ran back to his bedroom on his stumps to see if Reeva had called for the police and he described the moment he realised she was no longer there.
He said: "I lifted myself up to the bed and placed my hand to the right hand side of the bed and I felt if Reeva was there and I couldn't feel anything.
"It was at that point it first dawned on me that it could be Reeva inside the toilet."
The trial continues.

Scarlett Johansson ‘insulted’ by ScarJo nickname

Scarlett Johansson feels "insulted" by the name 'ScarJo'.
The 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier' star thinks the nickname given to her in the media makes her sound like a "tacky pop star" - such as Jennifer Lopez, who is considered to have started the trend with her title J.Lo - and is "insulting" to her as a serious actress.
Scarlett told the May issue of Glamour Magazine: "I associate that name with, like, pop stars. It sounds tacky. It's lazy and flippant. There's something insulting about it."
The 29-year-old actress claims she is also irritated by the media's obsession with how she looks and thinks it is completely unfair because it is something male actors don't have to endure.
Scarlett fumed: "Actresses get stupid questions asked of them all the time, like, 'How do you stay sexy?' or 'What's your sexiest quality?' All these ridiculous things you would never ask a man."
Scarlett's complaint didn't stop there as she expressed her disappointment at not being recognised by the media for her entire body of work and not just her breakout role 'Lost in Translation' in 2003.
She said: "When I made 'Lost in Translation', I was 17. Now I'm 29 ... That's a normal side effect of being a young actor.
'You're captured in a certain time of your life, and it's hard for people to move past that."

Beyoncé: Women should own their sexuality

Beyoncé believes women should "own" their sexuality.
The 32-year-old singer is noticeably more risqué and sexually suggestive on her latest album, 'BEYONCE', and she wants to challenge "double standards" that allow men to freely express their sexuality, but scold women for doing the same.
She explained: "I'd like to believe that my music opened up that conversation. There is unbelievable power in ownership, and women should own their sexuality.
"There is a double standard when it comes to sexuality that still persists. Men are free and women are not. That is crazy. The old lessons of submissiveness and fragility made us victims. Women are so much more than that. You can be a businesswoman, a mother, an artist, and a feminist - whatever you want to be - and still be a sexual being. It's not mutually exclusive."
The 'Drunk in Love' hitmaker - who is married to Jay Z and shares two-year-old daughter Blue Ivy with the rapper - says she had a "feminist mentality" while recording the album, but is glad her songs have resonated with other minorities, such as her gay and lesbian fan base.
She enthused to Out magazine: "I'm very happy if my words can ever inspire or empower someone who considers themselves an oppressed minority. We are all the same and we all want the same things - the right to be happy, to be just who we want to be and to love who we want to love."

Miley Cyrus felt ‘free’ after Liam Hemsworth split

Miley Cyrus has felt "free" since splitting from Liam Hemsworth.
The 'Wrecking Ball' singer has confessed that although she found it difficult to deal with her engagement to 'The Hunger Games' actor being called off last year, she now feels a lot stronger, as she did when she got over her departure from Disney.
She said: "When I went through a really intense breakup - you know, I was engaged - and when I was with him or when I was on Disney, the thing that gave me the most anxiety was not knowing what to do with myself when Disney wasn't there to carry me any more or if I didn't have him. And now I'm free of both of those things, and I'm fine.
"Like I lay in bed at night by myself and I'm totally OK, and that's so much stronger than the person three years ago, who would have thought they would have died if they didn't have a boyfriend."
The former 'Hannah Montana' star has admitted that although she often wished she could have started her solo career without being known as a Disney actress, she is "thankful" of what it's helped her achieve and is glad it didn't make her "crazy".
She told the latest issue of Elle magazine: "I got the most intense training. There's times where I wish I could have just started as a new artist, but the world has kind of allowed me to do that. I feel really lucky - a lot of kid stars get all crazy or stuck in what they were, so they can't actually become what they're meant to be."

Nicole Appleton granted quickie divorce from Liam Gallagher

Nicole Appleton was granted a divorce from Liam Gallagher within 68 seconds of the judge assessing the case.
The All Saints singer has endured a turbulent several months after it was revealed last July that her husband had fathered a child with American journalist Liza Ghorbani during an affair, but there was a swift conclusion to their legal separation which was heard at the Principal Registry of the High Court in London by Judge Anne Aitken on Tuesday (08.04.14).
The case - titled Appleton N M v Gallagher L J P - was the second of 13 undefended cases analysed by the judge and according to court papers Nicole said Liam "admitted adultery to me prior to it becoming publicised in national newspapers" and following his confession it became "intolerable" for her to live with him.
Liam, 41, confessed to cheating in the legal papers that were filed, answering "yes" when he was quizzed on the topic and he agreed to pay Nicole, 39, "reasonable costs" bringing an end to their six-year marriage and 14-year relationship.
The former Oasis singer - who has 12-year-old son Gene with the blonde beauty - was also revealed to be having an affair with his current band Beady Eye's ex-manager Debbie Gwyther, whom he is now living with.
The 'Wonderwall' singer also has two other children, 16-year-old daughter Molly, who he fathered during a brief fling with singer/songwriter Lisa Moorish, and 14-year-old Lennon, his son with first wife Patsy Kensit.

50 Cent loses lawsuit against headphones company

50 Cent has lost a lawsuit against a headphones company who have sued him for $16.1 million.
The 'Candy Shop' rapper, real name Curtis Jackson, has been ordered by a judge to pay the sum to Sleek headphones after a planned deal to market his own range with the company fell through.
According to RadarOnline.com, the star invested more than $1 million to start his line, before deciding the create another set of headphones with a different company.
Court documents reportedly show Sleek were "stunned" when they found the 'Sync by 50' headphones were "basically the same design, mechanically" as the pair they had developed.
Sleek also claimed the rapper and his assistants stole confidential information from a website they developed to promote the headphones before they were produced.
The site featured 3,639 potential customers' email addresses and other data, which "disappeared" after 50's team was given the password.
The court heard it was "very valuable information", but when Sleek emailed the rapper's team to discuss the issue, his business manager Nicole Martin wrote, "[Sleek] is onto us, LOL. They emailed and called ... about the data. (sic)"
Another member of 50's team also sent an email to a colleague, saying: "Tell him something like, sorry, you just have to finish editing a video for 50 or something, we'll get to it, LOL (sic)"
Court documents show Sleek sued the rapper for breaching his fiduciary duty, participating in a civil conspiracy, misappropriating trade secrets, breaching his confidentiality agreement and being unjustly enriched.
The rapper instead claimed Sleek "fraudulently induced" him into entering into an investment and breaching their fiduciary duties to him.

Lindsay Lohan causes Coachella concern

Lindsay Lohan's friends are "worried" about her plans to attend the Coachella festival.
The 'Mean Girls' star - who recently confessed to having "one glass of wine" since leaving rehab for the sixth time - is planning to head to the Californian music festival later this month with her mother Dina, but those close to her are not confident the showbiz matriarch will be able to prevent her daughter from resisting "temptation.
A source told RadarOnline.com: "Lindsay should not be going to Coachella.
"And having Dina with her isn't really making anyone feel comfortable that she will be a good chaperone. It's a big alcohol and drug festival and it is the last place that Lindsay should be.
"Lindsay swears that she'll stay sober, but Coachella is a huge party and there are going to be so many temptations for her. Everyone is really worried about her."
Meanwhile, the 27-year-old actress - who attended last year's event with her 16-year-old brother Cody before checking in to court-ordered rehab - reportedly turned up late to an Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) meeting and left early around the time of her relapse.
An insider claimed Lindsay attended the group near her New York apartment but made little effort to engage with the other participants.
The source said: "She took a seat in the back of the room with her sober coach. She seemed bored.
"Lindsay didn't seem interested in speaking with anyone. She stuck to herself.
"It's unheard of to arrive late or to leave a meeting early. It was shocking."
