Lena Dunham ‘disappointed’ she wasn’t gay

Lena Dunham was "disappointed" to discover she wasn't gay.
The 'Girls' star claims her "connection" to the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community is so "strong" that she was overjoyed when her sister, Grace, 22, came out at the age of 17.
Speaking at Point Honors Gala in New York, which helps LGBT students and those who are questioning their sexuality, Lena said: "I have always felt a strong and emotional connection to members of the LGBTQ community. It was actually a huge disappointment for me when I came of age and realised that I was sexually attracted to men.
"So when my sister came out, I thought, 'Thank God, now someone in this family can truly represent my beliefs and passions'. "
Lena - who is in a relationship with Fun. guitarist Jack Antonoff - finds gay men attractive, and joked that she had dated a couple in the past.
She laughed: "This is probably the most attractive room I have yet to enter, Gay men clean up real good, which is probably why I have dated so many of you."
Lena has spoken openly before of her past relationships with men who have later come out as homosexual, and she insists it's not something she feels ashamed of.
She previously said: "It's something I'm actually proud of. The best option is that people who are confused about their sexuality feel really comfortable with me. The worst option is that I turn them."

Peaches Geldof ‘happier than ever’ before death

Peaches Geldof claimed she was "happier than ever" in her last magazine column.
The late star - who was found dead at the home she shared with her husband Thomas Cohen and their sons Astala, 23 months, and Phaedra, 11 months, on Monday (07.04.14) - gushed about the joys of being a young mother in the pages of Mother & Baby magazine just weeks before her untimely death, claiming her family saved her from a life of "pure apathy".
She wrote: "Other than work there was nothing stopping me from having constant fun. But it was becoming boring, I wanted an anchor. I craved it.
"And when I had two wailing, smiling, joyful little blobs of waddling pink flesh they became my entire existence and saved me from one of pure apathy.
"I had the perfect life, two babies who loved me more than anything. It was and is bliss.
"I'm happier than ever. I've achieved a sort of perfect balance. Right now life is good. And being a mum is the best part of it."
Yesterday (08.04.14), police continued to search her house in Wrotham, Kent, but Peaches death is still being treated as "unexplained".
The 25-year-old star's heartbroken father Bob Geldof flew home to London yesterday, and his eldest daughter Fifi, 31, is said to be looking after him and her younger sisters Pixie, 23, and Tiger Lily, 17.
Meanwhile, a postmortem examination on the journalist's body will be carried out today at Darent Valley hospital in Dartford, Kent, by Dr Peter Graham Jerreat.
A decision on whether an inquest should be held depends on the results of the examination, which could take several weeks, according to Kent county council.

Peaches Geldof’s funeral to be at family church

Peaches Geldof's funeral will be held at the church where Paula Yates' memorial took place.
The body of the 25-year-old star - who was found dead at the home she shared with husband Thomas Cohen and their sons Astala, 23 months, and Phaedra, 11 months, on Monday (07.04.14) - is expected to be laid to rest at the country church of St Mary Magdalene in Davington, Kent, South East England where she was also married, christened, her parents Bob Geldof and Paula tied the knot, and where her late mother was buried in 2000.
A source said: "The church holds the most bittersweet of memories for the Geldof family. They have had the best of times and the worst of times in that churchyard."
Peaches' devastated family, including sisters Fifi, 31, Pixie, 23, and half-sister Tiger, 17, have gathered at their father's London home to mourn the blonde star and to comfort their Boomtown Rats singer dad, who is said to be too heartbroken to "operate normally".
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Bob is quite obviously too devastated to operate normally.
"Fifi has been his rock. She's the eldest daughter and believes it is her role to get everyone through this appalling time.
"The strength she is showing has been inspirational for them all.
"Bob is in profound pain. The whole family is frantic about how he'll cope.
"He's never been the same since Paula's death and this is an even more devastating heartbreak.
"For him, Peaches was always like a reminder of all Paula's good bits and now she's gone he's shattered. [His girlfriend] Jeanne [Marine] is working very closely with Fifi to protect Bob.
"They're already talking about the funeral because Bob simply isn't up to it."
After the funeral, Jeanne is said to be planning to take Bob overseas to grieve in private.

Rachel Weisz loves working with Daniel Craig

Rachel Weisz thinks working with husband Daniel Craig is "really lovely".
The couple - who rarely appear in public together - were honoured at the Night of Opportunity gala at Cipriani Wall Street in New York on Monday (07.04.14) for their work with The Opportunity Network (OppNet), which aims to help underprivileged teens get into education, which they fund, and launch successful careers, and the 44-year-old actress loved having the opportunity to collaborate on the project with her spouse.
She said: "It's really lovely. It's something that was incredibly natural and obvious to us."
Daniel, 46, added: "It's not just the grand gesture that counts [when giving back] - it's the everyday that matters."
However, Rachel - who has seven-year-old son Henry with former partner Darren Aronofsky - admitted meeting the teenagers had caused her to shed some tears.
She told People magazine: "I've met several of these kids and they've told me their stories to my face, and it was very hard not to cry. Not because it was sad, but because they're so inspiring, and so courageous."
And the 'Bourne Legacy' star is hoping her charity work will inspire her son.
She said: "Kids watch their parents closely. They watch everything they do - the good things and the bad things.
"So hopefully they grow up in a culture of caring about others, and it will be up to them to decide what they want to do, but hopefully it will rub off on them."
Inside the event, the couple - who were openly affectionate towards one another - were praised as "authentic" and passionate about the cause by OppNet founder Jessica Pliska.
She said: "People who know them all say the same thing and know this to be true - they're incredibly authentic, they really care about this, and this night really meant a lot to them.
"You can't always say that about everyone ... especially two superstars. We hit the jackpot."

Jon Hamm ‘confused’ by sex symbol status

Jon Hamm is "confused" by his "silly" sex symbol status.
The 'Mad Men' star was made to audition seven times for the show as bosses said he "wasn't sexy enough" but he's now been branded one of the sexiest men alive and he's confessed he can't get his head around the label.
He told Britain's Grazia magazine: "The idea of being a sex symbol is something I don't relate to at all. I find it so confusing and silly."
The 43-year-old actor, who stars as Advertising Director Don Draper in the long-running series, has been in a relationship with actress and screenwriter Jennifer Westfeldt for 17 years but he's admitted they have no plans to get married.
He explained: "I'm not against it; [marriage] marriage works for a lot of people - they call it an institution for a reason."
However, Jon feels it is a decision for each individual couple to make and has no problem with gay marriage.
He added: "I think everyone should be able to get married - or not. Gay, straight, knock yourself out; if that's your jam, do it."

Cheryl Cole will babysit Kimberley Walsh’s baby

Cheryl Cole has promised to babysit for Kimberley Walsh.
The Girls Aloud singer, who is expecting her first child with boyfriend Justin Scott, says her 30-year-old pal will be looking after her baby - and should get plenty of babysitting experience when she reunites with new dad Simon Cowell on the set of 'The X Factor'.
She told the latest issue of Closer magazine: "Cheryl has said she'll be babysitting all the time and will have a cot by her bed so the baby can stay over. She'll have plenty of practice being around [Simon's son] Eric this year too. She'll be a doting auntie to my baby by the time he or she arrives."
Cheryl will likely be one of Kimberley's first ports of call when she needs support with her baby as she insists she doesn't want to hire a "stranger" to look after her child.
The 32-year-old star said: "I'll take a well-earned maternity break once the baby is born to really enjoy those early moments. I won't hire a nanny, though ... I don't want a stranger in my house. I'd rather me and Justin did it. We've got an amazing circle of family and friends who can help. My mum says she'll take care of the baby whenever I need her. I'm lucky to be in a job where I can take the baby with me on sets and shoots."

Charlie Sheen invites ex-wife Brooke Mueller to wedding

Charlie Sheen has invited his ex-wife Brooke Mueller to his wedding.
The 'Anger Management' star wants the 36-year-old actress, with whom he has five-year-old twins Max and Bob, to watch him tie the knot with his fiancée Brett Rossi.
A source told RadarOnline.com: "They all get along and are one big happy family. It might be unconventional for most people, but not for Charlie's wacky world!
"Having Brooke at the wedding will also show the twins that they all get along."
Charlie, 48, and Brett, are keen for Max and Bob to have a role in their big day and are planning on giving them "special gifts" to help them fit in to their new family.
The source explained: "The twins are going to be a part of the wedding ceremony. Charlie and Brett are planning on giving them special gifts to make Bob and Max feel a part of their new family."
Brooke, who has been to rehab for cocaine addiction more than 20 times, is reportedly "ecstatic" her former lover is marrying the porn star because they get on really well.
A source said previously: "She is so happy. Brooke has repeatedly been over to Charlie's house with their sons, Bob and Max, and she and Rossi have truly hit it off."
Charlie proposed to his 24-year-old girlfriend during a trip to Hawaii in February, but their wedding is currently on hold because she is yet to finalise her divorce from her first husband, Jonathan Ross.
Charlie also has a grown-up daughter Cassandra from a previous relationship and daughters Sam, 10, and Lola, eight, with his ex-wife Denise Richards.

Johnny Depp wants more children

Johnny Depp wants to have more children.
The 50-year-old actor, who already has Lily-Rose, 14, and Jack, 11, with his ex-girlfriend Vanessa Paradis, admits he loves kids so much that he'd happily have 100 more.
He told Entertainment Tonight: "I love kids. I have two, and they're perfect. Man, I'd make 100. But I've got the easy gig, right?"
Meanwhile, the 'Transcendence' star recently popped the question to his 27-year-old girlfriend Amber Heard, but he admits he will be leaving the wedding planning to his beau.
He said previously: "I think that I would be better at making women's shoes than I would be at wedding planning, I can't plan anything. I'm really bad at that stuff."
The couple first sparked speculation they had got engaged in January and it has since been claimed the actor proposed in the run-up to Christmas.
Johnny met Amber on the set of 'The Rum Diary' in 2011, and a year later separated from Vanessa, whom he had been dating for 14 years.

Chloe Moretz never chosen for school play

Chloe Moretz was never chosen to be in a school play.
The 17-year-old actress - who shot to fame at the age of just six - admits, despite her movie success, she was never picked to be in her school's theatre production.
Chloe - who is currently starring in the off-Broadway play 'The Library' - told Jimmy Fallon on 'The Tonight Show' on Monday (07.04.14): "It's my first time on stage or anything I didn't do school plays or anything."
Chloe has been forced to move to New York City for the play, which runs until April 27, and she admits she's still trying to get used to her new surroundings.
She explained: "I'm living in the city just like I was six years old. I kind of have my neighborhood haunts now, [but] I don't know uptown at all, but I'm pretty good with downtown now. I'm still terrified of the subway.
"The time machine of it all really makes me afraid. It's quick, but I wouldn't take it alone."
However, the 'Carrie' star insists her mother Teri is very protective over her and can even track where she is.
Chloe said: "My mum's pretty strict with that. [She prefers Uber as] she has my under account on her phone so she can track where I am and she can see where I'm picked up and dropped off."
