Beyonce has been named one of Time magazine's 100 most influential people.
The '(Run the World) Girls' hitmaker is on the cover of the prestigious publication's annual Time 100 issue, and is the subject of a tribute from Sheryl Sandberg, Facebook's Chief Operating Officer (COO).
Sheryl praised her for :[raising] her voice both on- and offstage to urge women to be independent and lead."
She also wrote: "Beyoncé doesn't just sit at the table. She builds a better one."
Other famous faces on this year's list include 'Happy' hitmaker Pharrell Williams - who is the subject of a touching tribute from Justin Timberlake - Oscar-winning actor Matthew McConaughey, former child star Miley Cyrus, 'Scandal' star Kerry Washington, "alarmingly talented" Benedict Cumberbatch, and Amy Adams.
While Amy's 'Sunshine Cleaning' co-star Emily Blunt paid tribute to her friend's talents, she also spoke about her "funny and dirty" sense of humour.
Emily wrote: "One night I was driving us home from a Mexican restaurant. I had just told her I was a great driver. Then, as we were leaving, I put the car in drive - rather than reverse - and drove us into a tree. It was a tap, not a cataclysmic crash.
"But to Amy, stuff like that is heaven. She just burst out laughing. That's what I love most about Amy - she's silly and funny and dirty. And she's incredibly honest. She's self-admittedly terrible at small talk and hiding her feelings, which I really admire in an industry full of gush."

Mark Anthony has monthly outgoings of $305,000.
The Latino singer has refuted his ex-wife Dayanara Torres' claims he made $60 million over the last four years in new legal documents, insisting he actually earned a mere $40 million.
The paperwork, which has been obtained by TMZ and was filed as part of Marc's ongoing legal battle with the former Miss Universe - who is demanding he increases his monthly child support payments from $13,000 to $113,000 for their sons Cristian, 13, and Ryan, 10 - and lists his outgoings in great detail
According to the gossip site, the singer's accounts for the last two years show him spending $400,000 on domestic help, $200,000 on car rentals, $1 million for a house in California and another $700,000 for two homes in New York City.
Dayanara, who divorced Marc in 2004, claims she is forced to live in a modest San Fernando Valley home with the children, while the musical megastar - who also has four-year-old twins Max and Emme with ex-wife Jennifer Lopez - leads a lavish lifestyle and has cash to spare.
However, the 45-year-old star apparently believes the increase in funds would spoil his sons "rotten" and worries the extra income would result in them becoming addicts.
Marc - who is rumoured to have split from Topshop heiress Chloe Green - hired a psychologist to write a letter to the judge highlighting all the problems that could arise from children living in Los Angeles in the thick of the entertainment industry.

Taylor Swift is to appear in 'Girls'.
The 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together' hitmaker has agreed to creator Lena Dunham's request to make a cameo appearance in the fourth series of the show, and there is scope for her role to be made even bigger if she wants it.
A source said: "Lena's been trying to persuade Taylor to appear in 'Girls' for ages. Taylor loves the show and has agreed to a cameo.
"Lena would also love her to take on a more permanent role and to pen some music for the show."
And model Cara Delevingne could also be set for an appearance after her friend Taylor revealed her to be a big fan.
The source continued to Grazia magazine: "Taylor told Lena that Cara is a huge fan of 'Girls'. Lena immediately agreed because Cara is her girl crush. She has been in touch with Cara's people already to discuss the idea."
Lena has previously revealed she uses Taylor's music as inspiration when writing the hit show.
She has said: "She writes her own destiny in a way which is very unusual, especially for a young woman in the world of pop music. I wrote half of the first season of 'Girls' listening to her 'Speak Now' album and wrote much of the third season listening to 'Red'."

Simon Cowell has taught his son to stick his tongue out.
The 54-year-old music mogul dotes on two-month-old Eric - his first child with girlfriend Lauren Silverman - but has already been teaching him some mischievous habits.
His friend and former girlfriend Terri Seymour said: "Simon taught him how to stick his tongue out at two months. It's hysterical--Simon sticks his tongue out and Eric copies, he's so cute!"
Terri admits fatherhood hasn't changed Simon's showbiz lifestyle at all, but she insists he is a "really good" dad - apart from the occasional near-mishap.
She told Us Weekly: "He's great actually. I mean he hasn't changed his lifestyle because Simon wouldn't. But he's very good. He'd never even held a baby before, so he was like, 'How do you hold a baby?'
"You have to remind him every now and then about the head... But he's really good and he loves it."
"Everybody was like, 'Oh my God, this is going to be so strange' but it's all been very natural."
And the 'Extra' host thinks the 'X Factor' boss has taken to fatherhood so well because Eric is such an "easy" baby.
She said: "I think [baby Eric] is just so easy. I met him obviously a few times before. He's amazing, he's the most well-behaved baby.... considering he's Simon's!
"He never cries. I literally heard him cry once... and [he] sleeps from like, seven in the evening to seven in the morning.
"He's such a happy baby. He wakes up, has his food, and goes straight back to sleep. He's like the dream baby. He's amazing."

Tori Spelling thought she had a "very, very good" sex life with Dean McDermott.
The 'True Tori' star - who has children Liam, seven, Stella, five, Hattie, two, and Finn, 20 months, with her husband - was left stunned last year when it emerged her husband had cheated on her with a woman named Emily Goodhand, and she was surprised by his claim they had a "sexless marriage".
Speaking before the first episode of her new reality show aired - in which Dean told a therapist they slept together "once every two weeks" - Tori told Us Weekly magazine: "For having four children and very chaotic schedules, I thought we had a very, very good sex life.
"Dean said he didn't say that [about the sexless marriage] to her. It's 'he said'/'she said,' and I obviously haven't talked to Emily so I don't know what he said to her."
The former 'Beverly Hills 90210' actress also admitted she hasn't been able to bring herself to find out what Emily, 28, looks like.
She said: "I have written her name in my phone multiple times for Google Images and when it comes up, I can't look at it."
The 40-year-old actress got together with Dean, 47, when they were both married to other people - Charlie Shanian and Mary Jo Eustace respectively - and she says her own experiences mean she doesn't blame Emily for her husband's infidelity.
She said: "I was called a home-wrecker and a husband-stealer. I remember thinking, 'If this ever happened to me, I'd be p***ed at my husband.'
"I have never held Emily Goodhand responsible. Dean did this, not her."

Tom Hardy has sparked speculation he has secretly married.
The 'Locke' actor has praised long-term partner Charlotte Riley - who he started dating in 2009, a year before they got engaged - but referred to her as his "wife", though he later appeared to backtrack and just described himself as her "boyfriend".
Discussing how his family support his career, the 36-year-old star said: "Well my wife is an actor as well so she sort of gets it. Apart from that, I'm a pain in the ass really. You know what I mean? Like any other boyfriend.
"Isn't that part of being in a relationship?"
Tom - who wasn't wearing a wedding ring - went on to praise Charlotte as being "pure" and "kind".
Asked what he loves most about her, he said: "Aw, she's pure. She's just a very kind, pure person."
A spokesperson for the actor - who met the British beauty when they worked on an adaptation of 'Wuthering Heights' together - did not comment on the marriage speculation.
The 'Dark Knight Rises' star previously admitted he always puts Charlotte first and they never go too long without seeing each another.
He said: 'I like to go no longer than three weeks without seeing Charlotte but it can be tricky because we both go to opposite sides of the globe, then we have to meet in the middle. We're managing so far.''
