L’Wren Scott memorial service to take place

A private memorial service for L'Wren Scott will take place today.
A host of fashion industry insiders will gather at St.Batholomew's Church in Manhattan tonight (02.05.14) to remember the late designer, who committed suicide in March, at a special service.
According to the New York Post newspaper, Andre Leon Talley will deliver a speech, while Ellen Barkin and O magazine's creative director Adam Glassman will be among those in attendance.
A spokesperson for Sir Mick Jagger - L'Wren's partner of 13 years - did not comment as to whether he will be present at the service.
The Rolling Stones frontman paid a touching tribute to the designer at her funeral service in March, which took place at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery.
The 70-year-old rocker told mourners including his children Karis, 43, Jade, 42, Elizabeth, 30, Georgia May, 22, James, 28, and Gabriel, 16, and L'Wren's brother Randall Bambrough stories of their relationship and spoke about his love for the designer at the "intimate" and sombre service, which was led by Revered Ed Bacon from the All Saints Church in Pasadena, California.
Eurythmics guitarist Dave Stewart later accompanied Bernard Fowler, a backup singer that has appeared on more than 30 albums with The Rolling Stones, as he performed the song 'Will the Circle Be Unbroken,' while Karis read a poem and Jade read Psalm 139.
L'Wren's brother Randall and her close friends also gave speeches during the heartbreaking ceremony.
Mick's grandchildren Mazie and Zak also read Psalms, and L'Wren's niece Hannah Bambrough read Shakespeare's Sonnet 18, 'Shall I compare thee to a summer's day?' during the service.

Peaches Geldof’s drug dealer being hunted

Peaches Geldof's drug dealer is being hunted by police.
The body of the 25-year-old presenter was found at her home in Wrotham, Kent, last month and officers are now questioning friends and family after tests showed her death was "likely" linked to heroin use.
A Kent Police spokesman told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "We can confirm an ongoing investigation into the supply of drugs in connection with the death of Peaches Geldof."
There was no evidence of drugs at the house she shared with her husband Thomas Cohen and their sons Astala, two, and Phaedra, 12 months, although police are trying to determine whether the house was cleaned up before officers arrived at the property..
Kent Police have refused to confirm or deny if Tom or anyone linked to Peaches has been spoken to since she was discovered but say there have been no arrests and no interviews under caution.
Her £1million home was searched for two days with sniffer dogs after she was found slumped across the edge of a bed in her spare room, with one leg underneath her and the other hanging to the floor.
Meanwhile, sources have claimed Peaches was secretly visiting a rehab centre near to her home in the weeks before she died to collect prescriptions for methadone, a drug used to help addicts off heroin.

Hugh Jackman’s close shave

Hugh Jackman almost sliced his penis off with his Wolverine claws.
The 45-year-old actor got himself into a bit of a scrape while wearing his superhero costume, which includes long, metal blades extending from his hands, on the set of 'X-Men: Days of Future Past' when he tried to cover up his manhood from female crew members.
He said: "There was a very intense first scene and I insisted on a closed set. I ran round the corner and all the female members of the crew were gathered there. I tried to cover myself and cut my inner thigh - it was just the inner thigh thankfully! The metal claws had to go - you can't have bits and pieces flying off."
The star made the comment during his appearance on tonight's (02.05.14) episode of 'The Graham Norton Show', where his co-star Michael Fassbender praised Hugh's commitment to his gym routine and admitted his energy was infectious.
Michael said: "His discipline is incredible - he is up and in the gym at 4.30 in the morning, every morning. When we arrived there was a 'Jackman' effect and we all started training to try and keep up."
Hugh spent 18 months in total toning up for his most recent stint as mutant Marvel Comics hero Wolverine, who possesses animal-keen senses and a capacity to heal quickly.

Peaches Geldof made secret rehab visits

Peaches Geldof made secret trips to a rehab clinic in the weeks before she died.
The 25-year-old presenter - whose death last month was "likely" due to heroin - was spotted at least six times at the facility in Maidstone, Kent, but her husband Thomas Cohen reportedly didn't know she was visiting the centre to collect prescriptions for methadone, a drug used to help addicts off heroin.
A source who met her at the clinic told The Sun newspaper: "We were on first name terms but I called her 'P'. I last saw her a couple of weeks ago. She was fine, but furtive.
"She used to wear a hoodie to disguise herself. The first time I saw her I thought I recognised her and we just chatted about a few things.
"I said, 'I recognise you from somewhere' and she told me her name was Peaches. That was when it clicked -- Peaches Geldof.
"She said, 'You'd better not say anything to anybody'. She didn't want her husband finding out.
"She said he was completely straight and that her dad would go spare if he knew anything about it.
"She seemed like a really normal girl. To me she was a celebrity."
According to the unnamed insider, Peaches - who had sons Astala, two, and Phaedra, 12 months - claimed her spouse wouldn't "understand" her problem and she worried about the impact it would have on her family life.
The source added: "She said she didn't want her family or her husband to know about the drugs and it was top secret. She used to arrive on her own. She was on a script [prescription] and had to turn up weekly.
"She was most concerned about her husband. She said, 'You won't believe it he's a really straight family man. I married a really straight really nice bloke. He won't understand, it would affect my kids'."
In 2008, Peaches was reported to have stopped breathing after a drugs overdose and had to be revived.
Two years later, an American blogger posted an account of an alleged one night stand with the British star and claimed they had taken heroin together.
Her publicist later denied the allegations.

One Direction need decoys

One Direction's security team want to hire lookalikes of the band members.
The 'Little Things' hitmakers - Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne, Zayn Malik, Harry Styles and Niall Horan - are being followed by screaming fans everywhere they go on their 'Where We Are' world tour, so their team want to hire decoys to take the pressure off.
A source told the Daily Star newspaper: "Having 1D lookalikes on hand would be great for distracting the fans.
"At the moment it seems to be the only way forward for security and safety on this tour.
"The band already have an unbelievable amount of bodyguards and protection around them but the risks are getting extreme."
The attention they are receiving is said to be much, the group are "nervous" about stepping out in public and no longer feel safe.
The source added: "The boys can't sleep and are nervous about going out. They only feel safe in their private jet."
It was revealed yesterday (01.05.14) that the 'What Makes You Beautiful' stars were forced to change hotels in Peru after police struggled to stop 250 fans from storming their intended accommodation at the Palacio Nazarenas in Cusco.
A source said: "There were hundreds of screaming girls outside the hotel.
"Police were struggling to keep them back and keep them off the road.
"The fans with their posters nearly filled the entire square."

Katherine Heigl proud of ‘miracle’ dogs

Katherine Heigl claims it's a "miracle" the puppies she rescued from Russia are alive.
The 35-year-old beauty helped bring two pooches called Sochi and Adler back to America after she realised how unwell they were during the Sochi Winter Olympics, but complications arose when the dogs were found to be suffering from life-threatening diseases during quarantine.
Katherine says they're doing well now and is surprised the dogs are still alive after the whole ordeal.
She explained on US chat show 'The Talk': "It was really intense. I don't know if you watched the Olympics and saw what was going on over there with the animals, but it's equally as bad here.
"We were asked by the NSPCA to help with two puppies. We showed up at the airport and took these dogs.
"We thought the male dog was dead, he wasn't moving, we couldn't rouse him, and we drove immediately to the emergency vet.
"The other little puppy seemed to be in good health, but then she ended up having respiratory problems."
Katherine showed off her new pets on the show and proudly announced: "He was almost dead. It's a miracle he's alive."

Drew Barrymore focusing on motherhood

Drew Barrymore is focusing on motherhood.
The 39-year-old actress - who gave birth to her second daughter, Frankie, with husband Will Kopelman last month - admits that although she "loves" working on her beauty range Flower, she often works from home so that she can be around her 19-month-old daughter Olive.
Speaking before the birth of Frankie, she said: "With the beauty company, I can work from home sometimes, so I get to spend time with my daughter.
"Even if I had meetings all day, I'm there in the morning and I'm home in time for an early dinner. That is what I want my life to be right now."
The 'Blended' star is also committed to helping less fortunate children and works closely with a charity based in the United States.
In an interview with the new issue of Red magazine, she explained: "I work with a foundation in the US that collects items for young families in need, whether it's diapers, strollers, cribs or clothes.
"The human component is where my heart's drawn to, charity-wise. Babies: that's what gets me."
Drew and Will welcomed baby Frankie on April 22.
The couple said in a statement: "Happy to announce that today we are the proud parents of our second daughter, Frankie Barrymore Kopelman. Olive has a new little sister, and everyone is healthy and happy!"

Miley Cyrus postpones European tour

Miley Cyrus has postponed the start of the European leg of her 'Bangerz' tour.
The 'Adore You' hitmaker has been forced to reschedule her gigs in Amsterdam and Antwerp after her on-going battle with an allergic reaction took a turn for the worse.
A statement on her website read: "The May 2nd and May 4th Miley Cyrus 'Bangerz' tour dates in Amsterdam and Antwerp have been postponed and rescheduled for Antwerp June 20th and Amsterdam June 22nd."
The 21-year-old singer was hospitalised on April 15 after her body rejected Cephalexin, an antibiotic prescribed for the flu, but just under two weeks later she appeared to be making a good recovery and was discharged from hospital.
However, Miley, who was forced to postpone the US leg of her tour due to the illness, has been banned from travelling by her doctor after her symptoms flared up again recently.
The statement explained: "After a period of improvement, Cyrus' symptoms have returned and Doctor's will not permit her to travel. This type of extreme reaction can last up to 27 days and Cyrus must remain under Doctor's care at this time."
Miley seemed less than impressed when she heard that she couldn't perform for Amsterdam and Antwerp.
Taking to Twitter on Tuesday (29.04.14), she tweeted: "R u f**king kidding me?!?!?!?? #aprilcangof**kitself (sic)."
However, it is hoped Miley's UK gig at London's O2 Arena on May 6 will proceed as planned.

Eva Longoria’s ex-husband becomes a dad

Eva Longoria's ex-husband has become a father.
Tony Parker and his fiancée Axelle Francine welcomed a baby boy - their first child together - into the world on Wednesday (30.04.14) and have named the tiny tot Josh.
Josh decided to make his arrival just hours before NBA star Tony helped the San Antonio Spurs beat the Dallas Mavericks in the 2014 play-offs.
Speaking to Associated Press, Tony said: "It was crazy, because it happened last night, late. I didn't sleep. I basically didn't sleep the whole night and just played on adrenaline today. I'm a happy man right now."
However, Tony's teammate Tim Duncan knew his pal would play well despite his lack of sleep.
He said: "Coming into the game I told him this is perfect for you. This is what he does in situations like this where he doesn't get a lot of sleep or is in a stressful situation.
"He always seems to play better. I somewhat expected it from him."
Tony announced he was expecting his first child with Axelle, whom he has been dating for two years, in October.
Meanwhile, Eva divorced the hunky sportsman in 2011 after four years of marriage over claims he had cheated.
However, Eva was devastated by the divorce and previously admitted she stopped eating due to depression.
She said: "I was not eating. I was depressed. I was sad. My diet was coffee. [But this was] the time I got the most compliments, because I was so skinny."
