Peaches Geldof's half-sister Tiger Lily has been helping her widowed husband come to terms with her death.
The 17-year-old star, who was only four when she was found near the dead body of her mother Paula Yates, has been supporting her brother-in-law Thomas Cohen through his heartbreak following the death of Peaches last month.
A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "Tiger has been phenomenal. She has been unbelievably strong, kind and selfless."
Tiger, who was adopted by Peaches' father Sir Bob Geldof, has promised Thomas that his sons Astala, two, and Phaedra, 12 months, who was found with Peaches' corpse, will be able to get through life without their mother around.
The source explained: "She knows Tom and his family can't bear to think what will happen when the boys are old enough to realise what went on with their mum, particularly how they will explain to Phaedra that he was with her when his mum died because of heroin.
"She keeps telling them that, like her, the boys will be OK and that everyone just has to be there for them."
Peaches was found dead at her home in Wrotham, Kent, on April 7 and toxicology tests revealed she "likely" died from the highly addictive drug heroin.

Speaking to Cosmopolitan Body magazine, she said: "I've been training with Ashley [Borden], doing lots of 'rolling out' to engage all my muscles. Then we do high intensity training, like weights and dragging sandbags.
"I've felt incredible for it: so strong and more sexy. My sex drive went up 100 per cent - I think it's the hormones and testosterone from the weightlifting.

The brunette beauty recently admitted she's remained level-headed over the past three years because she's ignored negative comments and focused on her career.
She explained: "Someone once told me that it's none of my business what anyone else thinks of me. That was an epiphany. The thing about this industry that ungrounds people so often is fear. It's the fear of not being accepted, not being enough, being compared, not being this or that...It's just clutter! It just doesn't need to be there."

The 'Dallas Buyers Club' star won the Best Supporting Actor prize for his role in the biopic at the glamorous event in March, but he doesn't mind that the trophy has already been damaged because he thinks it gives it a better story.
Speaking to 'Access Hollywood', he said: "I wasn't shy with it. I let people kind of take pictures with it and have fun and I think that's what it's really about. It got some scuffs and bruises, but it's all the better for it, more personality."
However, it didn't take the 42-year-old actor long to give the gong its first dent as he managed to smash it on a bannister just two days after receiving it.
He said at the time: "True story, I was letting some of the people that I work with take a picture with the Oscar, and I was carrying it downstairs and boom - I hit the railing on the stairs and I put a little nick in the back of it."
