Kelly Osbourne calls Joan Rivers "Grandma".
The 29-year-old star grew up without her grandparents in her life, so says her 80-year-old 'Fashion Police' co-host is the closest thing she has ever had to a grandmother, and was delighted when her friend told her that was how she can now refer to her.
Kelly wrote on her blog: "Growing up I never had grandparents. About two months ago during a taping of 'Fashion Police', there was some sort of technical difficulty.
"Joan turned to me out of nowhere and said, 'You have no idea how much I love you my darling!' I proceeded to tell her how mutual the feeling was and that she is the closest thing I have ever had to a grandmother! We both shared a little tear and then it was on with the show!
" The next morning I woke up to one of the most heartfelt emails I have ever received. The email was from Joan. Long email short (so I don't get too sappy) Joan told me that she was officially MY GRANDMOTHER!!! From now on I am to call her Grandma J! (sic)"
Kelly - who was hospitalised last March after suffering a seizure - is thankful for all the support she receives from Joan and her daughter Melissa.
She added: "If I need anything and I mean anything, Joan and Melissa are always there for me. She gives the BEST advice.
"When I was in the hospital after having a seizure she came to visit me almost every day. When I am sad she is one of the only people that can make my laugh.
"Joan is not just my boss she is my teacher, advisor, therapist, and closest friends but now she is now my Grandmother.
"Joan, I love you to death (just don't die yet ya old bitch) thank you for everything you have done for me. Thank you for always believing in me. I love you, I love you, I love you! (sic)"

Jon Hamm insists talk of him being a sex symbol is "crazy".
The 'Mad Men' actor is baffled by the attention he receives for his handsome looks, as there are also many people who thinks he looks "old".
He said: "It's silly. First of all, it's completely arbitrary. Point me to 50 people online who think I'm super sexy, I'll point you to 50 more who say he's old and looks like my dad. It's not universal. If you buy into that, you're crazy."
The 43-year-old actor will bid farewell to his 'Mad Men' alter ego Don Draper next year and he treasures every moment of his time on the show as he has learned a lot.
He told People magazine: "It's been a long road. And it's coming to an end. But I can't express anything but the deepest gratitude for having worked on Mad Men. It's made me a better actor. And it's taught me how to deal with a lot of stuff in life in general."
While Jon favours a quiet life with girlfriend Jennifer Westfeldt, he admits it is flattering to be recognised and complimented by fans.
He said: "It's nice that people tell you, 'I like what you do.' A big portion of getting to the place [I've] gotten in my career is recognizing that there is a tremendous amount of good fortune and luck. You can never feel entitled."

Paula Patton still has a "deep love" for Robin Thicke.
The 'Baggage Claim' actress split from the 'Blurred Lines' singer in February after eight years of marriage amid speculation she was tired of his partying ways, but she hasn't ruled out reuniting in the future.
Asked if they will get back together, she said: "We've known each other since we were teenagers. All I can tell you is there's a deep love there - always was, and always will be."
The 38-year-old actress began dating Robin - with who she has three-year-old son Julian - when they were teenagers, and she recalled he sang Jodeci's 'Forever My Lady' before they shared their first kiss in her parents' living room.
She told Vanity Fair magazine: "He wasn't my first kiss but he was my first lots of other things."
A source previously revealed that Paula was having second thoughts about filing for divorce, but is yet to feel convinced by Robin's efforts to prove he can be a good husband.
Though the couple insisted their split was mutual when they announced their separation, it was subsequently reported that Paula told her spouse she wanted a divorce and Robin did everything he could to get her to change her mind.

Justin Bieber is "sorry" he didn't "bow down" to Seth Rogen when they met.
The 'Baby' hitmaker hit back at the 'Bad Neighbours' actor - who previously branded him "obnoxious," "ungrateful," and "insincere" - after Seth recalled the first time they met during an interview on 'The Howard Stern Show', where he called the singer a "motherf***er" who acted like he was the one who had requested to meet the teenage star.
Justin defended his behaviour putting it down to being a "bit shy" and insists he still likes the comedian's work.
He wrote on Twitter: "Seth Rogan sorry I didnt bow down when I asked 2 meet u was probably a bit shy and didn't want to be over the top but still. love ur movies (sic)"
Hours earlier, Seth insisted it's easy to "hate" the 20-year-old star because he lives up to the bad reputation which he's gained in recent months.
Seth explained: "He's a good example of someone you meet, who you think you're going to hate, and then you get to hate him as much as you thought.
"You meet him, and he lives up to every one of your expectations of how you hope he will be."
Seth previously lashed out at Justin after he was charged with drink driving, resisting arrest and drag racing in Miami, Florida in January.
The 31-year-old comedian and actor tweeted: "All jokes aside, Justin Bieber is a piece of s**t."
The post was shared by more than 70,000 other users within four hours.

Peaches Geldof's youngest sister Tiger Lily has been an "incredible rock" for her family.
The 25-year-old presenter was discovered dead at home last month with youngest son Phaedra, 12 months, by her side and insiders say 17-year-old Tiger - who was found in the room with her mother Paula Yates when she passed away 14 years ago - has been a huge source of support for their loved ones, including Peaches' husband Thomas Cohen.
A source close to the teenager - whose father is the late Michael Hutchence - and her family told Grazia magazine: "Thom's family are being amazing but surprisingly it is Tiger who has proved to be the greatest support for both families.
"She is the girl left in the same scene her nephew was found in and yet she has become this incredible rock for everyone when she's just a teenager. It's amazing."
Peaches' husband - with whom she also had two-year-old son Astala - and her sister Pixie, 23, are said to be finding it particularly hard to come to terms with her death, which is believed to have been caused by heroin use.
The source added: "Pixie has been in a state of uncontrollable grief - Peaches was so close to her. They shared a room, they shared a tragedy and they shared a wild youth and coming of age.
Thom is just catatonic with grief. His world has stopped."

Leonardo DiCaprio wants to buy surfer paintings for his new home.
The 'Wolf of Wall Street' actor - who recently splashed out $10 million on an eco-friendly New York apartment - has taken a keen interest in punk icon-turned-artist Raymond Pettibon's exhibition at the Venus Over Manhattan gallery and is so keen on the artwork, he and girlfriend Toni Garn have visited the showcase every day for the last 10 days.
A source told the New York Post newspaper: "He's been there in the middle of the day, strolling around looking at the art. He'll point something out and Toni's just like, 'Uh-huh, that's nice.' "
It was revealed earlier this week Leonardo has splashed out on a luxury two-bedroom fourth-floor property at the Delos building in New York's Greenwich Village, and the complex - which has WELL certification for its holistic approach to improving human wellness - boasts facilities including vitamin C-infused showers, purified air and water, and a circulated aromatherapy air supply.
The property also boasts posture-supportive heat reflexology flooring and 'dawn simulation' provided by a circadian lighting design. In addition, Donna Karan's Urban Zen is providing the building's residents with a 'wellness concierge' to "curate and coordinate your daily wellness experience," the New York Post newspaper reports.
Until a luxury duplex apartment in the same building is sold, Leonardo has also been told he can use a $1 million parking space which comes with the neighbouring property.

Blake Lively shunned Met Gala afterparties to go for ice cream.
The former 'Gossip Girl' actress and her husband Ryan Reynolds tucked into $9 sweet treats at New York coffee shop Serendipity after the glitzy Costume Institute Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on Monday (05.05.14).
She said: "I went to Serendipity... had frozen hot chocolate with extra peanut butter sauce on the side. Closed that place down! That's how I do an after party!"
'The Age of Adeline' actress admits she has a sweet tooth and hates the gym, but keeps trip by balancing her indulgences with cooking healthy "fresh" foods and finding different ways to exercise.
Speaking to 'Extra', she said: "I like to cook... I use a lot of fresh ingredients, which really does make a huge difference. It's easier to be healthy when eating things that are fresh, because they are often fruits and vegetables, but I also live a very active lifestyle.
"I've said before I hate the gym, I eat chocolate, yes that part is true. But what they don't print is I hate the gym, so what I do instead is find other ways to be active... I ride bicycles, I hike, I go out and exercise in nature and I'm active that way."

Kanye West wants to have his bachelor party in Dublin.
The 36-year-old rapper is preparing to marry his fiancée Kim Kardashian in Paris later this month, and it's now been revealed that he's planning to spend his final night as a single man in the Irish capital with his best pal and fellow rapper Jay Z.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Kanye loves Dublin, as does Jay Z, and it's pretty close to Paris so it's a perfect option before the wedding.
"He has had his people looking into places like The Four Seasons and the Ritz Carlton and clubs they could take over for a night."
Kanye is said to be keen to host a bachelor party in Ireland because he wants to be able to do what he wants for one more night before he embraces Kim and the rest of the Kardashian clan.
The source added: "Kim will be doing her own thing with the girls and Kanye knows that in Dublin he would pretty much be left to himself."
And it could be the second bachelor party the 'Bound 2' star celebrates as it was previously claimed Jay will throw him a lavish celebration at his New York club 40/40.
Meanwhile, The 'New Slaves' hitmaker was reported to have tied the knot with Kim last week, but the 33-year-old beauty quashed the rumour saying, "Still Kim, Mrs. West soon", at the Met Gala earlier this week.
