Peaches Geldof’s home raided by thieves

Peaches Geldof's home has been raided twice by thieves since her tragic death last month.
Police are currently investigating a double burglary at the late star's marital house in Wrotham, Kent, South East England, after it was reported a ride-on lawnmower had been snatched from the grounds in mid-April.
Peaches' father Sir Bob Geldof was planning to keep the outdoor machine in memory of his daughter, 25, but was left devastated when he discovered it had been stolen.
A neighbour told The Sun newspaper: "I know a mobile lawnmower was taken. Bob wanted to keep it for sentimental reasons, but it was broken so he asked someone to do it up.
"I spoke to the mechanic but he said they told him he couldn't repair it as it had been stolen. It's shocking to think someone would do that so soon after Peaches died."
However, last Friday (09.05.14) the thieves struck again, but this time they deliberately damaged CCTV cameras located at the £1 million property, before breaking in.
Police rushed to the house within five minutes of receiving an emergency call, but the cruel culprits had already fled scene without taking anything.
Peaches was found dead by her husband Thomas Cohen on April 7 at the home they shared with their two sons Astala, two, and Phaedra, one.
An inquest heard earlier this month that heroin was "likely" to have played a role in the blonde beauty's death.
However, police have since released a statement insisting Thomas is not under suspicion of involvement in her death.

Michael Lohan’s fiancée rushed to hospital after seizure

Michael Lohan's fiancée was rushed to hospital yesterday (12.05.14) after suffering from a seizure.
Kate Major was escorted from a nearby rehab facility to the JFK Medical Center near West Palm Beach in Florida after complaining of chest pain, according to TMZ.com
It is not known what caused the medical emergency, but Kate suffered a similar health scare in 2011 when she was also rushed from rehab to hospital following a seizure.
On March 18, the troubled mother was sentenced to spend time in rehab and ordered to pay $15,000 after she was arrested for driving under the influence (DUI).
Kate's arrest came after Michael called the police following a "nasty argument", which broke out at their home in Florida, where she allegedly hit him several times, before fleeing the property in her vehicle.
However, when law enforcement officers managed to catch up with Kate, it is believed she was three times over the limit and struggled to find her nose with her finger.
Police were also called to their home address in February after Kate claimed Michael, who is the father of Lindsay Lohan, threatened to kill her with a knife.
Although, Kate - who has 15-month-old son Landon with Michael - released a statement shortly after the incident, which she aired on Twitter, claiming she regretted bad-mouthing her fiancé online.

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West to take time off after wedding

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are planning to take some time off from work after their wedding.
The couple - who have 10-month-old daughter North together - are tying the knot in Paris on May 24 and, although they will be jetting off on honeymoon after their nuptials, they will also be taking an extended break from their globe-trotting careers to spend time as a family.
A source told PEOPLE.com: "They're planning on taking some time off for sure. They're used to busy schedules but they want to have some downtime as newlyweds - and together as a family."
Meanwhile, the loved-up pair - who got engaged last October - insist their big day will be a small and intimate affair, with just their close friends and family present.
The duo were initially rumoured to have tied the knot earlier this month in a private ceremony in Los Angeles after allegedly securing a marriage licence last month.
However, Kim, 33, took to her Twitter account last weekend to confess that she and the rapper, 36 - who currently reside in California - haven't got married yet.
Although, it is believed the couple will be forced to legally wed in California before their romantic bash in Paris as the French law requires a strict 40-day residency before they can get hitched in the country.

Rachel Stevens’ daughter looked like ‘little kitten’

Rachel Stevens' baby daughter looked like a "little kitten" when she was born.
The 35-year-old star and her husband Alex Bourne welcomed their second child Minnie into the world last month, and the brunette beauty admits she has been completely besotted ever since she laid eyes on her.
Speaking in an interview with OK! magazine, she explained: "She was beautiful when we first saw her - she looked like a little kitten."
The couple's three-year-old daughter Amelie has also adapted well to having a new baby sister around.
Rachel said: "It's so gorgeous to see our two girls together. Amelie was so excited to meet her sister. We completely hate each other at night-time and in the morning love each other again!"
Alex was the first to announce that Minnie, who weighed 7lbs 7oz, had arrived "safely" into the world on April 1.
He tweeted at the time: "Delighted to announce the safe arrival of our gorgeous little girl! @MsRachelStevens and baby both really well. Amelie happy and 'cited (sic)".
The couple, who got married in 2009, later released a statement saying: "We're so happy that baby has arrived safely."
The former S Club 7 singer announced she was pregnant with her second child back in September and, although she was aware she was expecting a girl, she kept the baby's sex a secret from the public until her arrival.

Cindy Crawford’s mum talked her out of mole removal

Cindy Crawford's mother convinced her not to get her "ugly" mole removed.
The 48-year-old model was keen to get rid of iconic beauty spot when she was younger, but she admits her mum Jennifer "talked" her out of the procedure.
Speaking in an interview with Into the Gloss, she explained: "She talked me out of getting my ugly mark - as my sister called it - removed. Apparently if it was on the right side it was a beauty mark, and if it was on the left it was an ugly mark. I would get teased by the other kids in school, so I definitely wanted to get it removed.
"But my mother always said, 'You know what your mole looks like, you don't know what the scar is going to look like.' Now it's so much just a part of my face that I don't think 'Oh, how's my mole doing today?' But it's the thing that made people remember me, and it made a lot of women who also have beauty marks identify with me."
Meanwhile, brunette beauty recently admitted she is still body conscious, but she's set herself a deadline to "come to terms" with her looks by the time she turns 50.
She said previously: "I'm a normal woman, sometimes I feel pretty good and some days I'm like, 'Oh my God, nothing fits.'
"My new resolution is that by the time I am 50, I want to have come to terms with my body."

Emily Blunt and John Krasinski buy $2.75m home

Emily Blunt and John Krasinski have bought a Hollywood Hills mansion for $2.75 million.
The couple welcomed their first child, Hazel, into the world in February, and they've already splashed out on a bigger property in Los Angeles for their expanding family.
The plush house is complete with four bedrooms, three bathrooms and is located on a double 37-acre lot with a stunning pool, which is perfect for their young family.
Redfin estate agent, Eric Tan, told E! News: "This fabulous compound is the perfect home for a couple like John Krasinski and Emily Blunt.
"The walled estate is situated on two lots, offering plenty of privacy for the new parents. The house also has a beautiful swimming pool surrounded by a stone patio."
The large kitchen has a centre island and breakfast bar, and opens out to the dining room and other living areas.
The 3,483 square-foot two-storey home has some added glam with stunning cream and beige interiors as well as large windows for extra natural light.
Meanwhile, Emily, who is said to own another two properties with John, took some time off after giving birth to her daughter three months ago, but is now ready to throw herself back into work after signing up to star in 'Sicario'.
John is currently shooting Khalil Gibran's upcoming movie 'The Prophet' alongside Liam Neeson and Salma Hayek.

Solange Knowles ‘overreacted’ to Jay Z’s comment

Solange Knowles reportedly attacked Jay Z after she "overreacted" to something he said.
The 27-year-old singer "flipped out" at the rapper, 44, in an elevator at the Met Gala after-party in New York last week because she was offended by a comment he made.
A source told Us Magazine: "Solange flipped out over something Jay had said, that she took the wrong way. She took it too hard or too far. Not sure what it was, but she greatly overreacted."
Solange was caught on surveillance kicking and clawing her brother-in-law as they left the bash held in the Boom Boom Room at The Standard Hotel in New York City, last Monday (05.05.14).
Jay didn't appear to retaliate as the brunette beauty screamed in his face, but he did attempt to hold her hands down as their bodyguard struggled to hold her back.
Beyoncé appeared to stay calm and collected throughout the scuffle and watched on helplessly as her sister violently attacked her husband.
However, at one point, the 'XO' hitmaker - who has two-year-old daughter Blue Ivy with Jay - intervened and said something to Solange after she began punching him again.
Solange then stormed out of the elevator with a disgruntled expression plastered across her face as Beyoncé, 32, and Jay followed shortly behind.
The siblings were then seen getting into a car together, while the 'Holy Grail' hitmaker opted to travel alone.

Hugh Jackman doing ‘good’ after cancer treatment

Hugh Jackman insists he's doing "good" after receiving his second lot of treatment for skin cancer last week.
The 'Wolverine' actor - who also had cancerous cells removed in November - believes he's "fixed" after undergoing a procedure to remove a Basel Cell Carsinoma (BCC) from the side of his nose last Friday (09.05.14).
When asked how he is doing following the treatment, he told PEOPLE.com: "My face? It's fine, it's good. Thank you for asking. I have a few stitches, I had a basal cell carcinoma taken out."
Hugh has also urged his fans to protect themselves from the damaging rays of the sun and to get themselves seen by a medical professional as soon as they notice any abnormalities on their skin.
He said: "Tell all your readers: get check ups, wear sunscreen. It's all about prevention."
BCC is a treatable and common form of skin cancer signified by lesions or growths on the outermost layer of the skin that "often look like open sores, red patches, pink growths, shiny bumps, or scars" and are "usually caused by a combination of cumulative UV exposure and intense, occasional UV exposure, the Skin Cancer Foundation says.
Although it generally doesn't spread, the organisation warn that it can be disfiguring if not treated quickly.
The 45-year-old actor was first treated for the disease last year after wife Deborra-Lee Furness - with whom he has children Oscar, 13, and Ava, seven - urged him to get a "mark" on his nose checked out.
He tweeted at the time: ''Boy, was she right! I had basil cell carcinoma.
''Please don't be foolish like me. Get yourself checked. And USE sunscreen!!! (sic)''

Halle Berry ‘healthy and happy’ after son’s birth

Halle Berry is "healthy and happy" following the birth of her son.
The 47-year-old actress insists she's not stressing over her postpartum pounds after welcoming her second child Maceo-Robert, whom she has with her husband Olivier Martinez, into the world last October.
Speaking to PEOPLE.com, she said: "I'm healthy and that's really good. When you're nursing you can't really diet because you have to keep producing milk ... I'm healthy and I'm happy and that's all that matters."
The brunette beauty - who also has six-year-old daughter Nahla from her previous relationship with Gabriel Aubry - believes Maceo has brought "joy" to her family and she is overwhelmed by the love she feels for him.
She explained: "[Maceo's] perfect, just perfect. More love, more joy -- having a new baby in your family brings that."
However, Halle admits she and Olivier, 48, whom she married last July, are still trying to find the balance between parenthood and their demanding careers.
She added: "[A new baby means] less sleep. And I'm working on the TV show ['Extant']. It's a new grind, it's a new rhythm.
"We're trying to get used to that. [But] we're managing."
