The 'How We Do (Party)' hitmaker explained she doesn't feel any "pressure" to look her best, and she is glad she's so comfortable no matter what people might think.
She told E! News: "I love dressing up. It's so much fun especially when you do it without all the pressure, because you can't really go wrong in my opinion.
"You just go with what you like. That's what I do ... I've always been dressing up and I don't really think about what people might think ... I just honestly love the process of it. It's good fun."
Meanwhile, Rita is expanding her horizons with a role in 'Fifty Shades of Grey' and she is still trying to get used the "hype" surrounding the upcoming blockbuster adaptation of E.L. James' novel.
She admitted: "I'm still coming to terms with the fact that I'm surrounded by the whole hype around it.
"It's going to be such an amazing feeling when it does come out...I'm just honestly sitting back before the storm hits. I just can't wait, you know what I mean?"

Morrissey has denied having a Twitter account.
The 54-year-old singer was believed to have joined the micro-blogging website and posted his first tweet on Wednesday (14.05.14), but he has insisted the profile isn't him - despite being a verified account.
Writing on True-to-you.net: "I would like to stress that I do not have either a Twitter or a Facebook account.
"I gather that a Twitter account has been opened in my name - as 'It's Morrissey' - but it is NOT Morrissey. I do not know who has opened this recent Twitter account, but please be aware that it is bogus.
"That's, of course, if you should remotely care. Untwitterably yours, MORRISSEY"
The 'First Of The Gang To Die' star joined the social media site in June 2009 but only recently posted what was believed to be his first message.
The post read: "Hello. Testing, 1, 2, 3. Planet Earth, are you there? One can only hope... (sic)"
The post has already been re-tweeted more than 18,000 times and it was followed by: "Follow, follow, follow. Twitter is the perfect metaphor for...something. Dunno what. (sic)"
Three further tweets were posted on Thursday (15.05.14), including promotion for Morrissey's tour and merchandise.

Kate Moss is being strict while her sister studies for exams.
The supermodel has been helping Lottie prepare for her GCSE [General Certificate of Secondary Education] tests and she has been making sure her younger sibling is staying focused.
An insider told The Sun newspaper: "Kate can't help with the maths and chemistry because she says she's rubbish at it, but she's given Lottie the ultimate exam advice and told her no boys and no sneaking out of the house until the tests are over."
Kate is said to be keen for Lottie to focus on her "education" before thinking about following in her footsteps with a full-time modelling career - and she's been checking in on her every day to make sure she's staying on track.
The source added: "She always told Lottie that education is crucial. Kate wants her to finish school and then decide how much modelling she wants to do."
Lottie certainly seems to be taking her sister's advice, taking to Twitter and suggesting her focus is completely on her studies.
She tweeted: "So uninterested in any boys atm."

Cara Delevingne and Michelle Rodriguez have reportedly split.
The supermodel is said to have broken up with her partner, and her decision to attend her sister Polly's wedding on her own was seen as "a big statement" as the two women go on a "break".
Speaking to The Sun newspaper, a source revealed: "Cara and Michelle have really cooled things in the past month and haven't seen each other in a while.
"For Cara to go to the wedding alone was a big statement - she and Michelle were rarely apart early this year but are now taking a break."
Poppy and James Cook got married yesterday (16.05.14) and it was previously revealed Cara wore a white gown as maid of honour - and she attended with her pet rabbit rather than her now ex-girlfriend.
The 21-year-old star wore a Haute Couture Chanel dress, and the bridal party got ready at Claridge's Hotel in Mayfair before the nuptials.
Guests at the event included composer Andrew Lloyd Webber, former Spice Girl Geri Halliwell, her boyfriend Christian Horner, and TV presenter Trinny Woodall.

Courteney Cox thinks she is "grounded yet outrageous".
The 'Cougar Town' actress has just directed her first feature film, 'Just Before I Go', and says she chose to work on the comedy because it related to her personality.
She said: "It kind of shows that when you think something is going on with you, you realise, as you look out, that everyone is struggling and we all have our issues.
"I was also drawn to the hilarity and subversive humour. Between the heartfelt stuff and the crazy obscure humour, it was perfect for my personality. It was grounded yet outrageous."
Courteney - who has nine-year-old daughter Coco with ex-husband David Arquette - recently debuted the movie at the Tribeca film festival and was so nervous, she forgot what she wanted to say to the audience.
She told Britain's HELLO! magazine: "Going up there and seeing people watching the movie at a festival where they're expecting something - I don't know, I just got really nervous.
"I meant to say that Coco, my daughter, sang the opening song, but I forgot."
However, the actress admits she was "surprised" not to be nervous when she stepped behind the camera to make the movie.
She said: "What surprised me was that it didn't make me nervous. I was more nervous the first time directing 'Cougar Town', thinking about how I was going to bring something different and be as fast as possible - nobody wants to be there longer than you have to."

A source told The Sun newspaper: "Taylor's been encouraging Selena got write down her feelings and emotions, and record."
Justin and the 'Spring Breakers' actress have had a difficult on/off romance, and it is said they split again last month.
Throughout this tough time, Taylor is said to have stood by her friend - and there's eve a chance they could collaborate on Selena's album.
The insider added: "Taylor's had Selena's back through all this. I wouldn't be surprised if they recorded together."
The pair have discussed their close friendship in the past, and the blonde singer claimed it was their "longevity" which has made them so comfortable.
Taylor recently said: "It's been the longest one [friendship] I think either of us had really. When your life changes and you become thrust into this really strange whirlwind where what your life is is different from what other people think your life is.
"And your life is commented on and your life is written about and fictionalised and all that. Both of us have kind of stuck it out and hung in there through all the different changes we've gone through.
"Longevity is something you really can find very precious and rare in friendships."

Perrie Edwards will design her own wedding dress.
The Little Mix singer is getting married to One Direction heartthrob Zayn Malik and - although the couple haven't set a date yet - she is enlisting her band mate Jade Thirlwall.
Perrie told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "I definitely want long sleeves. I know exactly what I want, so I'm designing it and getting it made from scratch.
"Not that I can draw ... I'm getting Jade to do it. She's going to draw it and I'm going to take it to somebody to make."
Jade admitted she used to draw hundreds of wedding dresses as a child, although she joked the fashion choices are best left to Perrie.
She said: "When I was little I used to constantly draw wedding dresses ... I thought those massive puffy shoulders were really fashionable."
Meanwhile, Perrie has already figured out how she wants her makeup to look on the big day.
She added: "I'm gonna have natural makeup - not too natural. I don't want to be a natural Nancy ... but nice, light eye shadow with a nude lip."

Kimberley Walsh's nephew wants her to name her baby after his favourite cartoon character.
The former Girls Aloud singer is five months pregnant with her and Justin Scott's first child, and her whole family are excited about the new arrival, including two-year-old Billie.
Kimberley said: "I went for a family picnic with my brother Adam, sisters Sally and Amy and Sally's children, Billie and Alfie. We had such a lovely day.
"Billie's so cute. I have no idea why but he calls me Momo and he's fully aware I'm pregnant now. He came up to me while I was eating and kissed the bump.
"I asked him if he wanted me to have a boy or a girl and he said, without hesitation, a boy. And he wants me to call him Woody, after 'Toy Story'."
The 'Promise' hitmaker has been busy decorating her baby's bedroom but can't complete the finishing touches yet as she and Justin don't know the gender of the tot.
She explained in her column for Britain's OK! magazine: "We've finished painting the nursery, although Justin wouldn't let me near a ladder.
"We went for duck egg blue, so if it's a girl we can add pink to the room and if it's a boy we'll add darker blue furnishings.
"I can now start doing all the fun things like ordering the cot and the curtains. It's very exciting."

Jason Bateman's children have made him more "empathetic."
The 'Arrested Development' actor has daughters, Francesca, seven, and Maple, two, with wife Amanda Anka and they inspired him to volunteer at City Year, an organisation which aims to help less fortunate children get excited about their education.
He said: "Having children, I've become ever more empathetic. You see your kids discovering all these different things, and the notion that they might not get access to an education that they deserve or become disinterested in school is just heart-breaking.
"It's a curiosity that needs to be constantly fed, and City Year, which sends volunteers into schools to support at-risk students, does that.
"Over the past five years, I've gotten a chance to mix with some of the students and corps members and staff. There is an infectious spirit that runs through both those that are receiving and those that are giving. There's something special about spreading this excitement about education and knowledge. It's what living is about."
Jason, 45, who started acting an a child, enjoys watching his own kids learn things but admits he has to be careful about what he says in front of them.
He told People magazine: "As a parent, it's really fun to see how much a child can simply absorb. They are taking things in all day every day, and frankly, 90 percent of what we learn is through osmosis."
