Kim Kardashian’s wedding guests are ‘all competing’

Kim Kardashian's best friends are "all competing" to be the best-dressed guest at her wedding.
The 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' star is set to marry Kanye West this Saturday (24.05.14) and her close pals have ordered custom-made dresses as they all "want to look their absolute best" at the lavish nuptials.
Michael Costello has created couture gowns for Brittny Gastineau, Larsa Pippen, Blac Chyna, and Carla Dibello for the couple's rehearsal brunch at iconic designer Valentino Garavani's Château de Wideville in Paris on Friday (23.05.14), after which they will be given a private tour of the Palace of Versailles, as well as their outfits for the duo's big day.
The fashion designer told UsMagazine.com he was "kind of shocked" when so many of the reality TV star's inner circle got in touch with him.
He said: "They were all competing [when they first came in]! They wanted to look their best. I think they just all want to show up and shut it down. They want to be there for Kim, but they want to look their absolute best."
He added: "We're not just making one dress, we're making two for each girl. They're all very romantic, really beautiful, structured silhouettes."
Meanwhile, a source told the New York Post's Page Six that photos from Kim and Kanye's rehearsal brunch at Valentino's 17th-century residence outside the French capital, will be featured on Vogue.com, following their controversial appearance on the cover of the April edition of US Vogue.
The brunette beauty previously said that she wanted to keep their wedding day private, but would share everything that happens leading up to and after the event with her fans.
The couple are expected to fly their guests via private jet to Florence, Italy for their nuptials on Saturday morning.

Angelina Jolie might never marry Brad Pitt

Angelina Jolie is in no rush to get married.
The 38-year-old actress, who got engaged to Brad Pitt in April 2012, admits they still don't have any concrete plans to tie the knot despite previously claiming they were under pressure to wed from their six children, Maddox, 12, Pax, 10, Zahara, nine, Shiloh, seven, and five-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne.
The 'Maleficent' star told 'Good Morning America' today (21.05.14): "We don't have a date, and we're not hiding anything, but we really don't know. We talk to the kids about it once in a while -- and one of them suggested paintball. And we thought, 'Well, different.'"
The Oscar-winning actress also hinted that she and Brad might never actually marry, even though they are madly in love.
She said: "You know, I think the important thing is that whatever we do it's that the kids do have a great time, and we all -- you know, take seriously the love, and the connection between all of us. But also just get silly and do something memorable."
Angelina was previously married to British actor Jonny Lee Miller for three years until 1999 and Billy Bob Thornton for three years until 2003.
Shortly before he proposed, Brad, who was previously married to Jennifer Aniston, admitted he was eager to make Angelina his wife.
Asked if they would marry, he said: "We'd actually like to, and it seems to mean more and more to our kids. We made this declaration some time ago that we weren't going to do it till everyone can. But I don't think we'll be able to hold out. It means so much to my kids, and they ask a lot. And it means something to me, too, to make that kind of commitment."

Jay Z and Rachel Roy will attend wedding

Jay Z will come face-to-face with Rachel Roy for the first time this Saturday (24.05.14) since his fight with Solange Knowles.
The rapper and the fashion designer, whose chat at the Met Gala after party allegedly provoked his sister-in-law to attack him in an elevator on May 5, are both set to attend Kanye West and Kim Kardashian's wedding this weekend, but his wife Beyoncé is still just a "maybe."
A source told UsMagazine.com that the Jay Z and Rachel, 40, are among the 120 guests that will help the couple celebrate their marriage at parties in both Paris and Florence, Italy.
The insider predicted it could be awkward between them as Solange, 27, reportedly attacked the music mogul as she thought he was flirting with Rachel in front of Beyoncé at the prestigious ball in New York City earlier this month.
The source said: "Solange yelled about Rachel on Beyoncé's behalf, asking Jay, 'How could you treat my sister like that?' Solange walked up and started screaming at Rachel. She was making a big scene."
But a source close to Rachel, who was previously married to Jay's former business partner Damon Dash, insisted that she never spoke to the 'Otis' hitmaker at the star-studded event.
Jay Z and Solange have since made up and spent last weekend together with Beyoncé and her mother, Tina Knowles, in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Jessica Alba wants to set a good example

Jessica Alba has stopped trying to be "perfect."
The 33-year-old actress, who has daughters Honor, five, and Haven, two, with husband Cash Warren, has relaxed her diet and fitness regimes since becoming a mother, as she wants to set a good example for her children.
She explained: "As I've gotten older and after I became a mom, it became more of a priority to be healthy for the right reasons. It's more important to have a balanced approach instead of trying to be perfect."
Jessica still tries to lead a healthy lifestyle, but no longer feels guilty if she eats junk food.
She told PEOPLE.com: "I don't deprive myself ... I have [junk] if I want it. When I do feel that I am depriving myself, I find that I binge. That's not a balanced way to go about it."
The 'Machete Kills' star goes on 90-minute walks with friends if she doesn't feel like working up a sweat and also finds ways to stay active with her children.
She said: "I'm not so much into preaching, more into practicing. I like to swim with them, go on family walks. The kids like it too, they go crazy, bouncing off the walls if I keep them inside. They'll throw balls around, and I'm going, 'You can't throw balls in the house! That's our lamp!' "

Nicki Minaj likes being lusted after

Nicki Minaj doesn't mind being lusted after by her fans.
The 'Pills N Potions' hitmaker admits she likes the idea of men looking at sexy pictures of her while they pleasure themselves.
She said: "I never really think about dudes doing that I guess, but I mean hey, if I can cause somebody some pleasure and not even be there then why not."
The Game, who was previously linked to Khloé Kardashian, recently revealed he had a crush on Nicki after she wrote on Twitter that she was "single n ready to mingle (sic)."
The rapper, real name Jayceon Terrell Taylor, posted a picture of her on Instagram, with the caption: "#WomanCrushWednesday @NickiMinaj wit this black hair can f**kin get it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (sic)"
And despite still being in a relationship with her boyfriend of 10-years, Safaree Samuels, Nicki was very flattered by The Game's comments.
She said: "Yeah, shout out to The Game, he's cool. I don't really know him that well."
The 31-year-old singer, who is gearing up to release her third album, 'The Pink Print,' is still "super excited" about her career following a stint as a judge on 'American Idol' and her first movie role in 'The Other Woman,' and has no plans to slow down until she has children.
Talking to presenters on 'The Breakfast Club' on New York radio station Power 105.1, she added: "I'm just that type of person, I'm not going to ever stop until I start having some babies."

Selena Gomez is taking control of her life

Selena Gomez is excited to take control of her life.
The 21-year-old star, who split from Justin Bieber again after a brief reconciliation last month, says she is taking her power back after jetting off on holiday following a difficult few months, during which cancelled her world tour December, sought treatment in rehab in January and dumped her parents as her managers in April.
The 'Come & Get It' hitmaker shared a picture of herself in a bright yellow bikini looking happy and relaxed on a beach on Instagram, and wrote: "Taking my power back.. can't wait to show you where I've been. I love y'all (sic)."
In a bid to assure her fans that she hasn't completely changed, she jokingly added: 'Ps, I still obsess over pickles."
A source previously revealed that Selena, who recently started going to Church every day, is focusing on writing new music and her best friend, Taylor Swift, is encouraging her to write songs about 'Beauty and a Beat' hitmaker Justin, 20, to help her get over him for good.
The insider said: "Taylor's been encouraging Selena to write down her feelings and emotions, and record."
The 'Spring Breakers' beauty also received some relationship advice from Jennifer Aniston while they were having dinner with their agents at Madeo restaurant in Los Angeles last Saturday (17.05.14).
An eyewitness said: "Jennifer was definitely giving Selena love advice. I overheard both of them say Justin's name and Jennifer was doing most of the talking and Selena was doing a lot of nodding.
"They were pretty much talking to each other the whole time, while the two guys were in their own conversation."

Angelina Jolie: Hollywood mothers ‘shouldn’t complain’

Angelina Jolie says Hollywood stars "shouldn't complain" about struggling to juggle their careers and children.
The 'Maleficent' actress, who has six children, Maddox, 12, Pax, 10, Zahara, nine, Shiloh, seven, and five-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne, with fiancé Brad Pitt, insists she and her peers have "much more support than most people" and shouldn't play down their privileges.
The 38-year-old actress said: "I'm not a single mom with two jobs trying to get by every day. I have much more support than most people, most women in this world. And I have the financial means to have a home and health care and food."
The brunette beauty admits she is very lucky to have nannies and to be in the position to turn down work.
She explained to the New York Daily News: "When I feel I'm doing too much, I do less, if I can. And that's why I'm in a rare position where I don't have to do job after job. I can take time when my family needs it.
"I actually feel that women in my position, when we have all at our disposal to help us, shouldn't complain. Consider all the people who really struggle and don't have the financial means, don't have the support, and many people are single raising children. That's hard."
Angelina's comments come shortly after 'Iron Man 3' star Gwyneth Paltrow, who once dated Brad, claimed her life was "harder" than most.
She said: "It's much harder for me.
"I think to have a regular job and be a mom is not as... of course there are challenges, but it's not like being on set."

Sophie Ellis Bextor’s husband loses phone riding roller-coaster

Sophie Ellis-Bextor's husband lost his mobile phone while riding a roller-coaster.
The pop star and her spouse, The Feeling bassist Richard Jones, went to Thorpe Park theme park in Surrey, England, on Monday (19.05.14) for a preview of the attraction's new Angry Birds Land.
The musician - who has three sons, Sonny, 10, Kit, five, and Ray, two, with Sophie - was having a great time but was left red-faced when he forgot to keep his phone safe when riding the Nemesis Inferno and when he told Sophie about his mishap she took great pleasure in teasing him.
A source told BANG Showbiz: "Richard went off for a couple of hours to enjoy the various rides, but didn't take advice to keep his personal belongings safe on the Nemesis Inferno which has a vertical loop and corkscrews. He looked a bit sheepish when he told her his phone was gone but Sophie thought it was funny and gave him a ribbing."
The former 'Strictly Come Dancing' contestant and her family are massive daredevils and travel the UK visiting theme parks and Sophie even organised for her oldest child Sonny to celebrate his 10th birthday at Thorpe Park last month.
Thorpe Park's Angry Birds Land opens on May 24 and rides include a 4D Experience and the Detonator: Bombs Away - a 100ft rapid drop tower ride.

Channing Tatum’s lucky escape from being teen dad

Channing Tatum feels "lucky" he didn't become a teenage father.
The 34-year-old star - who has 11-month-old daughter Everly with wife Jenna Dewan-Tatum - was a stripper when he was 18 in Tampa, Florida, and is relieved he didn't succumb to any of the temptations around him.
He said: "There's so much salacious and dangerous stuff going on around you, but it's fun at the same time, as a 19-year-old kid - money, women, a good time. I'm lucky - I don't have a drug addiction, I didn't get anyone pregnant. I probably got really lucky."
The 'Magic Mike' actor admits being a stripper was like an "alternative reality" because of the diverse mix of people around him.
In a new interview with America's GQ magazine, he said: "They're just so out there you're in an alternate reality. Even as a 19-year-old kid, I just couldn't believe this world I was in.
"These guys, some of them are really cool, some of them are completely, like, hippies, some are completely meatheads and steroid-crazy freakazoids, other ones are stuck in the '80s, and some of them are an everyday Joe that has a construction job, and some of them are businessmen. One guy was an attorney during the day."
