Rupert Grint used to go out wearing an "animal mask".
The 'Postman Pat' actor - who shot to fame playing young wizard Ron Weasley in the 'Harry Potter' franchise - donned disguises so he could go out with friends and found it "amazing" to be unrecognised.
He said: "I've tried various different disguises, I used to go to V festival and other festivals and i would wear animal masks. It was amazing, I was completely invisible, it was great."
The 25-year-old actor is often greeted by groups of fans waiting for him when he arrives for interviews and other public appearances, but insists he will always find the attention "strange".
He said: "I don't get used to it, it's always a bit strange, it doesn't happen all the time, you get it now and again and it's strange."
Rupert has previously revealed he is often mistaken for 'Drunk' singer Ed Sheeran.
He said: ''[Do we get mixed up?] Yes of course, a lot. People get confused all the time. One time I was at this Formula One race and Leo Sayer was there. There was definitely a kind of confusion because he came up to me and said how much he liked my music.''

Cara Delevingne and Michelle Rodriguez are set to reunite this weekend.
The British supermodel, who sparked rumours she had split from the 'Fast and the Furious' actress when she attended her sister Poppy Delevingne's wedding to James Cook in London alone last Friday (16.05.14), is reportedly bringing the brunette beauty as her date to the couple's second celebration in Marrakesh, Morocco.
An insider told the MailOnline: "It's galling that everyone keeps saying that Cara and Michelle have split, they've very much together.
"Michelle is definitely coming and heaps of others too, it's going to be stunning."
Sources previously suggested Cara, 21, had dumped Michelle, 35, because of their busy schedules.
One friend said: "Cara and Michelle have really cooled things in the past month and haven't seen each other in a while.
"For Cara to go to the wedding alone was a big statement - she and Michelle were rarely apart early this year but are now taking a break."
The couple started dating in January, but Michelle previously insisted their romance wasn't serious.
She said: "We're just having fun.
"It's going really well. She's so cool. When we started hanging out I just thought she was awesome, and we have the best time together. She's hard though. You wouldn't want to mess with her in a fight."

Keira Knightley admits she has "chilled out an awful lot" in recent years.
The British actress, who shot to fame in 'Bend It Like Beckham' when she was 18, says playing troubled characters in movies like 'Anna Karenina' took a toll on her, but she has finally learned how to relax off set.
She said: "In each of my [recent] films, I either died or was subjected to a new situation that was more horrific than the last.
"I was spending so much time being neurotic and beating myself up. [Eventually I realised I] might get further by just going, 'Oh f**k it.' "

Robert Pattinson claims he is "so bad" at auditioning.
The 'Twilight Saga' actor - who recently admitted he doesn't know if he has an audience outside the popular franchise - was afraid he wouldn't get the lead role in his upcoming drama, 'The Rover,' because he still gets nervous in front of casting directors.
The 27-year-old British star said: "I'm so bad at auditioning and I was terrified that I wasn't going to get it."
Despite his high profile and huge success, producers made Robert fight for the role in the Australian film, which tells the story of a ruthless ex-soldier who tracks down the men who stole his only valuable possession, alongside Guy Pearce.
He told 'ET Canada' at the Cannes International Film Festival: "I really, really fought for it."
Once he landed the role, the heartthrob relaxed.
He explained: "It's a character that doesn't really have any constraints, it's not really specified where he's from or what his desires are, or really what his mental state is, and I felt really relaxed doing it because you could just do whatever you wanted basically."
Robert says the movie helped boost his confidence.
He explained: "I felt for a second that I kind of knew what I was doing a little bit. Because I just sort of fell into acting, I've never really felt like that before."

The fashion designer, 82, hosted an intimate brunch for the 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' star and fiancé Kanye West at his 17th century estate, Château de Wideville, outside Paris on Friday (23.05.14) and was eager not to sabotage the brunette beauty's slim figure after she lost 55 pounds ahead of their wedding in Florence, Italy later today (24.05.14).
Writing on Vogue.com, editor André Leon Talley, who was among the 20 guests at the emotional gathering, revealed that Valentino gave the couple a sugar-free cake made with green apples and strawberries, decorated with hearts and the words 'Kanye and Kim.'
He also said: "This is my dietetic cake."
But Kim, who previously revealed she was working out daily and following the Atkins diet to get back in shape after giving birth to her 11-month-old daughter North, clearly wasn't upset about the dessert, as she said: "There's nothing better than sharing a great moment with people you love, it becomes a special memory."
The acclaimed couturier also gave a speech, thanking Kim's mother, Kris Jenner, and said: "I would love to toast these two beautiful people here before me. And I also want to thank Kris Jenner for having these beautiful girls. These girls make my dining room even more beautiful."
Raising a toast to the reality TV star and the rapper, he added: "I wish you much success, a lot of love, and a long life."
Kris also shared her joy ahead of the wedding, saying: "I first want to toast Kim and Kanye, who love each other, and I say for all of us, this is the most beautiful place we've ever been."
The brunch was captured on film by Kanye's personal videographer and photographer.

Pink has sparked more rumours she is pregnant again.
The 'Just Give Me A Reason' hitmaker, who already has two-year-old daughter Willow with husband Carey Hart, further fuelled speculation she is expecting their second child today (23.05.14), as she appeared to reveal her pregnancy cravings on Twitter.
The 34-year-old star tweeted: "I love that every time I find a box of Girl Scout cookies I'm pregnant. Guilty: I'm having a thin mint:)"
The singer's mysterious comments come shortly after her husband was spotted rubbing her stomach in New York City last month.
An eyewitness previously said: "They were cuddling and he kept rubbing her tummy. She was quick to move his hand away in case anyone saw. But it was pretty obvious."
The 'So What' hitmaker - whose real name is Alecia Hart - admitted last year she is desperate to extend her family because she thinks motherhood is the "best thing".
She said: "I want a basketball team [of kids]. It's [motherhood is] the best thing I've done.
"In 10 years I'll have an 11 year old and an eight year old and a five year old and a three year old and a six month old and 18 dogs, a horse and a pig."
Pink and Carey began dating in 2001, before getting engaged in 2005 after she proposed to the hunk during a motocross race in California.

The 'Life Itself' actress, who is currently single and has adopted children Duke, 13, and Dexter, 18, admits she really enjoyed shooting romantic scenes with her co-star on the set of their upcoming drama.
The 68-year-old Oscar-winning star said: "His lips were just so luscious. You just put your lips up against him, and you just squeezed in, and it felt gooey and good. So I liked that."
Diane, who previously dated Warren Beatty, Woody Allen and Jack Nicholson, hopes to lock lips with lots more Hollywood heartthrobs in the future, including Bradley Cooper and comedian Louis C.K.
She said: "What I've decided is that I would like as my goal in life is to be the woman in films who has had the most kisses with men on film, and I'm thinking that maybe 50 is what I'm going for."

She told 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show': "What was exciting about him he was sort of like a pit bull. He kind of attacked me...I was acting sort of cautious, but in my heart of hearts, I felt the same about him and I wanted to just get right with it.
"So it worked out very well for the scene, but I enjoyed it."
Asked if she'd ever kissed him before, she said: "No, never. Never even touched Michael. Never met him."

Sarah Silverman loves everything about Michael Sheen.
The comedienne, who started dating the 'Frost/Nixon' actor in February, admits she is very attracted to him, especially his British accent.
Discussing a photograph of them at the Met Gala in New York City earlier this month, in which she's grabbing her boyfriend's butt, she told 'The View' today (23.05.14): "What am I supposed to say, I'm an ass man."
Sarah became flustered when asked if she's madly in love with the actor, but said: "Look, this is so awkward. Listen, I love his body, but I also love what's on the inside."
The 43-year-old beauty added: "He speaks foreign, he's foreign and on his show 'Masters of Sex' he speaks perfect American. And I'm like, 'If you can talk normal, why don't you do that all the time?' "
The couple were first spotted together at Michael's 45th birthday celebrations in February, where they were joined by Nicole Richie, Kate Hudson, Demi Moore and his former partner Kate Beckinsale and her husband Len Wiseman.
A source said at the time: "Sarah and Michael came and left together. She drove. When they left, Sarah opened her trunk so Michael could put all of his gifts in and then they drove away."
