Beyoncé Knowles has wished Kim Kardashian and Kanye West "a lifetime of unconditional love" after skipping their wedding.
The 'Drunk in Love' hitmaker and her husband, Jay Z, were noticeably absent from the couple's nuptials at the Forte di Belvedere in Florence, Italy today (24.05.14), but took to Instagram in a bid to prove her thoughts were with the newlyweds.
The 32-year-old singer posted a picture of the couple and their 11-month-old daughter, North, from their recent Vogue spread, with the caption: "Wishing you a lifetime of unconditional love. God bless your beautiful family."
Kim's younger brother Rob Kardashian, 27, also missed the festivities, with insiders telling TMZ.com that he flew back to Los Angeles "in tears" following an argument with the bride on Friday (23.04.14).
Meanwhile, John Legend serenaded the happy couple at their reception at the 16-century fort, specially decorated with installations by contemporary American artist Vanessa Beecroft.
The duo looked besotted with one another as the Grammy Award-winning R&B star performed a cover of the Etta James classic 'At Last' for their first dance, according to PEOPLE.com.
Both Kim and Kanye wore custom-made creations by Givenchy, overseen by their good friend Riccardo Tisci, as did baby North, who walked down the aisle with help from her grandmother, Kris Jenner.
Armand de Brignac Champagne flowed freely at the white and gold-themed affair, where guests tucked into a menu of chicken, tortellini, salmon and steak, as well as a seven-foot wedding cake.

James Corden and his wife Julia Carey are expecting their second child.
The couple, who got married at Somerset's Babington House in 2012 and already have three-year-old son Max together, confirmed the happy news via their spokesperson today (24.05.14).
A source close to the 35-year-old 'The Wrong Mans' star also told The Mirror newspaper: "James and Julia have loved every minute of becoming parents to their toddler Max and were keen to give him a brother or sister who is close in age. They're delighted to be pregnant again and can't wait to expand the family."
The couple, who were introduced by their close friend Dominic Cooper in 2009, got engaged on Christmas Day in 2010.
The actor previously admitted that becoming a father had given him a "sense of clarity" in his life.
He explained: "It's given me a great sense of clarity.
"You get into your house and shut the door and it's lovely to be greeted by this person who's become the most important thing. It's amazing."
It's been a good month for James, as he won the TV BAFTA for best comedy entertainment programme for his Sky One football series 'A League of Their Own' last weekend.

The Kardashian family matriarch was among the 200 guests on hand to watch her daughter, 33, marry Kanye West, during a "magical" sunset ceremony at the Forte di Belvedere in Florence, Italy today (24.05.14).
Speaking shortly afterwards the 58-year-old star said that she is "beyond bursting with happiness for Kim, Kanye and baby North."
She also told E! News: "Such a magical, romantic wedding! I feel blessed to have my new son and his family as part of ours."
Kim - who is believed to have worn a Givenchy white gown - was escorted down the aisle by her stepfather, Bruce Jenner, as well as her sisters, Kourtney, 35, Khloé, 29, and half-sisters, Kendall Jenner, 18, and Kylie Jenner, 16, who acted as bridesmaids.
The couple, who exchanged vows outdoors in front of a wall of flowers, were serenaded by acclaimed Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli during the ceremony, who performed several of his biggest hits, including 'Con te Partiro.'
The couple's guests broke into applause twice during the ceremony, which was organised by celebrity party planner Sharon Sacks, and Kris was seen wiping away tears in the front row, according to PEOPLE.com.

Sources told UsMagazine.com that Jay, 44, bailed on the couple's wedding at the Forte di Belvedere at the last minute, as he wanted to enjoy a quiet Memorial Day holiday weekend with Beyoncé and their two-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy.
Shortly before the extravagant wedding got underway, the 'XO' singer, 32, who is said to have a "frosty" relationship with Kim, also signalled to fans she wouldn't be present, as she posted a make-up free photograph of herself in bed on Instagram.
Jay and Beyoncé's absence came as a surprise, as the rapper has been friends with Kanye, 36, for more than 14 years.
The 'Bound 2' hitmaker first came to prominence on the rap mogul's influential 2001 album 'The Blueprint' and they have collaborated many times since then, including on their album 'Watch The Throne' in 2011, which later saw them embark on a sold-out world tour together.
Jay Z previously admitted he felt like Kanye's big brother.
Asked about their decision to tour together, he said: "It actually was really easy because of the relationship. It's always been a big brother thing and a respect thing."
A small number of celebrities jetted to Italy for the couple's celebrations, including John Legend's model wife Chrissy Teigen, actor Jaden Smith, rappers Tyga and Big Sean, and fashion designer Rachel Roy.
Jay Z's sister-in-law Solange Knowles attacked him in an elevator at the Met Gala after party on May 5 because she reportedly thought he was flirting with Rachel in front of Beyoncé.

An eyewitness said: "It was funny how nervous he was. He clearly knew the gravity of what he was about to do. This morning he was all smiles, but as it got closer, you could see that the nerves were kicking in. It's common for most grooms. I've seen it all before."
Another source told E! News that Kim arrived at their wedding venue with her grandmother, Mary Jo Shannon, shortly after catching a private jet with her bridal party, including sisters, Kourtney and Khloé Kardashian, and mother, Kris Jenner, from Paris, where the couple enjoyed a pre-wedding celebration at the Palace of Versailles on Friday night (23.05.4).
An eyewitness said: "A convoy of cars arrived at around 3 p.m. local time. Kim was in the first car, which was a Mercedes-Benz. They drove the car right up and her assistant opened the door and Kim dashed in. She looked to be wearing white.
"Kourtney was carrying her daughter Penelope and her son Mason--in a red-striped outfit--followed behind.
"Kris Jenner got out of second car wearing black suit. And she put a big professional camera on a strap on her shoulders. She has obviously been taking professional pictures to remember the occasion."
