Kim Kardashian’s ‘very normal’ wedding

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's wedding was "very normal".
The reality star and the rapper tied the knot in Florence, Italy, on Saturday (24.05.14), and despite all the media attention the union attracted, a source close to the wedding party claims it was all about the things that matter.
The insider told E! news: "The entire wedding felt very normal. It was very un-Hollywood. It might appear like it was something over the top, but it was very much focused on the important things that matter most."
Another source pointed out the intimate ceremony was almost celebrity free, as Kim and Kanye wanted to keep the event particularly personal.
The source said: "They wanted it to be a small and intimate wedding. Jay Z and Beyonce were invited but didn't come... In the end, the wedding was full of love and super intimate."
Kim's brother, Rob, made his way to France for pre-wedding celebrations, but left just before the actual event, flying back to the US.
It was initially reported he fell out with Kim, but friends say this was not the case, and he is just conscious of his weight.
The source said: "Kim and Rob did not fight. He wanted to be there, but he was feeling so insecure and didn't want anyone to see him heavier like this.
"Kim and Kanye completely understand. They love Rob and only want him to be healthy and happy."
Rob was pictured at Los Angeles International airport on his way to the wedding last week, the first time he was photographed in months.
After some people commented on his weight, he wrote on Twitter: "so i found out i was trending for being fat... thank you all it really made my day 🙂
"and to the blogs saying i went to fat camp or rehab LOL then why am i still fat u fools?? (sic)"

Amanda Seyfried ‘pretty sure’ Channing Tatum is a good kisser

Amanda Seyfried is "pretty sure" Channing Tatum is a good kisser.
The 'Lovelace' actress locked lips with the hunk in 2010 movie 'Dear John', and although she can't recall the experience too clearly, she's confident it was a fun moment.
She told BBC Radio 1: "I don't remember... I'm pretty sure it was great. It was easy! He's a funny guy."
Amanda appeared alongside funnyman Seth MacFarlane - who she co-stars with in 'A Million Ways to Die in the West' - and he was only too eager to jump in with a more full answer to the question of whether Channing is a good kisser.
He joked: "I felt like a million bucks afterwards. You want to talk about confidence? That guy gives you confidence. So generous."
Seth is best known as the mastermind behind cartoon 'Family Guy' and the movie 'Ted', and acts on-screen for the first time in 'A Million Ways to Die in the West', although he wasn't daunted because he had his Hollywood co-stars to consult about his scenes.
He said: "The only part that was new, was the acting. But again I had Amanda, I had Charlize [Theron], I had Neil [Patrick Harris].
"I have this great cast of people. Every time you're playing opposite somebody it's one of these people who is so good and so experienced there just throwing stimulus at you and it just makes it easier."

Kim Kardashian shares wedding photos

Kim Kardashian has shared pictures from her wedding.
The reality TV star posted two pictures of her marrying Kanye West at the Forte di Belvedere in Florence, Italy, at the weekend on her Instagram page.
In one shot he can be seen holding her hand as their guests clap the newlyweds, and in the other they are embraced in a kiss.
She simply captioned the pictures: "Mr. and Mrs. Kanye West."
The pictures show off Kim's elegant Givenchy haute couture gown, while Kanye looks particularly smart in custom fitted Givenchy tuxedo.
After the ceremony, the happy couple and their wedding party enjoyed a lavish reception, which included a four-course meal and seven-tiered wedding cake.
Kanye gave a 20-minute speech, and both mother and father of the bride Kris and Bruce Jenner spoke to wish the couple well.
Kim and Kanye's first dance was to 'All of Me', which was performed live by their friend John Legend, who also raised a toast to them.
Kim's sister, Khloe, has also posted a picture from the event, of her gazing over the Italian skyline.
She captioned it: "E vissero felici e contenti..." which is Italian for "And they lived happily ever after..."
Following their wedding celebrations - which started in Paris, France, last Friday (23.05.14) - the couple have now moved on to Ireland, where they are enjoying a honeymoon in Cork, Ireland, staying at the exclusive Castlemartyr Resort.

Miranda Kerr gives away clothes

Miranda Kerr gives away most of her clothes.
The former Victoria's Secret model is gifted many garments, but doesn't like to have an overflowing wardrobe, so has put a system in place to ensure she never keeps too many.
She told Lucky magazine: "I have a philosophy. I give a couple of pieces away for every one that I get. I live in New York City and I have a small closet, and it's also a good way to keep the flow, so my closet is constantly being turned over."
Miranda, 31, has three-year-old son Flynn with estranged husband Orlando Bloom, and even though he's still a toddler, she says he has a great sense of fun.
She added: "Motherhood is the best. Flynn makes me laugh so much. We have the same sense of humour, which no one else understands. I'll look at something and laugh, and then he'll laugh, and it's so contagious."
The elegant brunette also gave away a few style tips, saying she uses cleanser, toner and moisturiser every day, as well as rose-hip oil at night.
Miranda is also a fan of smoothies and concocts them with goji berries, maca powder and vitamins.
She added: "I put them in a shake. I feel like it's more palatable that way."

Bill Murray crashes bachelor party

Bill Murray crashed a bachelor party over the weekend.
The 'Kingpin' actor offered words of advice at the celebration after he was spotted dining in the same restaurant in Charleston, South Carolina.
One of the groom's party had offered to send the actor and his friends drinks, as well as asking him to come and say a few words to the groom, known as E.J.
Although Bill initially politely declined, he approached the party a few minutes later and gave a few choice words.
In a video posted on Deadspin.com, he says: "Listen here, I'm going to give you all advice because it's too late for this guy [the groom].
"If you have someone who you think is the one, don't just sort of think, 'OK, let's make a date, let's plan this and make a party and get married.'
"Take that person and travel around the world. Buy a plane ticket for the two of you to travel all around the world and go to places that are hard to go to and hard to get out of.
"And if when you come back to JFK, when you land at JFK, and you're still in love with that person, get married at the airport."
The 'Ghostbusters' star - who is famous for his random interactions with ordinary members of the public - also encouraged the bachelor party to have fun.
He added: "You know how funerals are not for the dead, they're for the living? Bachelor parties are not for the groom, they're for the unmarried."

Queen releasing new songs with Freddie Mercury

Queen will release new tracks featuring Freddie Mercury singing later this year.
The legendary 'We Will Rock You' band's frontman died in 1991, but drummer Roger Taylor and guitarist Brian May have since carried on with the group and are currently putting together a new album including recordings made with Freddie before he passed away.
Brian told the BBC: "We found a few more tracks with Freddie singing and all of us playing and they are quite beautiful.
"It is a compilation but will have this material that nobody in the world has ever heard. I think people will really enjoy it."
The musician added the material comes from when they band were at their height and will most likely be called 'Queen Forever'.
He said: "Most of it comes from the 80s when we were in full flight. It is quite emotional. It is the big, big ballads and the big, big epic sound. It wouldn't have been if we hadn't have done this restoration job.
"We had to start from scratch because we only had scraps. But knowing how it would have happened if we had finished it, I can sit there and make it happen with modern technology."
The band previously released a posthumous album 'Made in Heaven' in 1995, also featuring vocals recorded by Freddie before he passed away. That was also the last Queen album to feature bass player John Deacon, who retired two years later.
Since that time the band have worked with singers Paul Rodgers and Adam Lambert.
Last year Brian said a previously unheard collaboration between Freddie and Michael Jackson would be released, but it is not clear if it will be included on the new album.

Kings of Leon are closer after meltdown

Kings of Leon are closer after hitting rock bottom in 2011.
The 'Sex on Fire' hitmakers were forced to take a year long break due to exhaustion, and frontman Caleb Followill's alcohol abuse, and the family band believe their time out of the limelight has made them stronger.
During an interview with Fearne Cotton on UK station BBC Radio 1, Caleb said: "We're brothers and that's never going to change. We'll always have moments where we don't see eye-to-eye but I think it made us realise how much we love what we're doing. How blessed we are. I think it made us closer."
The Oklahoma rockers - also formed of Caleb's brothers Nathan and Jared and their cousin Matthew - were initially at a loss as to what to do when they returned to their hometown and were faced with an empty schedule after being forced to cancel their world tour promoting their fourth album 'Only by the Night', which culminated in a series of disastrous performances.
Caleb said: "It was a bit of a shock for us because we had toured so much for so long and so hard. It was a bit of a shock to us to basically have a whole year freed up. But after a week or so, we thought it feels good to be home and get to be a dad and a husband and doing normal things.
"And I think it showed us there's nothing wrong with taking a break to recharge your batteries and come back bigger, better and stronger. The circumstances of why we had to take that break might not have been the way we envisioned it [though]."
The band now make sure they book into separate hotel rooms and spend time apart when they're on the road so as to avoid tensions running high again.
Nathan revealed: "We've learned it's OK to take time to yourself even if you're in the some hotel, same room, same city. It's OK to take time and get a breath of fresh air and clear your head.
"Whereas early on, we did everything together. In the same dressing room, on stage, in the same club, wearing the same clothes. we can be a cohesive unit on stage, but off stage it's OK to be your own person."

Christopher Lee releases metal album to celebrate 92nd birthday

Sir Christopher Lee has released a heavy metal album to celebrate his 92nd birthday.
The legendary actor reached the enviable age today (27.05.14) and to mark the special occasion has brought out 'Metal Knight', a seven track collection which features two covers from the 'Man Of La Mancha' musical which is based on the fictional character Don Quixote.
Speaking about the inspiration for the LP, Lee revealed: "As far as I am concerned, Don Quixote is the most metal fictional character that I know. Single-handed, he is trying to change the world, regardless of any personal consequences. It is a wonderful character to sing."
Lee - who is famous for his portrayal of Count Dracula in several Hammer Horror films and roles in the 'Star Wars' and 'Lord of the Rings' franchises - has posted a video on YouTube in which he explains the motivation for the tracks with of the featured songs being a metal cover of Frank Sinatra classic 'My Way'.
Lee - who first began making metal music around 10 years ago when he collaborated with Italian symphonic metal band Rhapsody of Fire - said: "I associate heavy metal with fantasy because of the tremendous power that the music delivers."
In 2013, Lee became the oldest performer to chart in the US after his version of 'Jingle Hell (Bells)' reached number 18 in the Billboard Charts. His new album is now available from all digital music stores.

Cheryl Cole to release new album in November

Cheryl Cole's fourth album is set to come out in November.
The pop princess has revealed the follow-up to her 2012 record 'A Million Lights' is due later this year, with her new single 'Crazy Stupid Love' dropping imminently.
The 30-year-old star told Britain's HELLO! magazine: "I have the single 'Crazy Stupid Love', so I have to make the video for that, which involves choreography, casting the dancers, rehearsals, approving the idea, then fittings for costumes and hair and make-up, then the filming.
"The perfume launch in August and the album launch in November. I'm so busy at the moment, I'm just taking things one day at a time."
The former Girls Aloud singer was living it up at the Cannes Film Festival for the fifth year in a row last week and she says her priority on the red carpet is avoiding an embarrassing wardrobe malfunction like her pal Eva Longoria's 2013 slip-up.
She advised: "Always wear underwear. Seriously, I would rather have a line than be caught out without anything on; I would be mortified. The whole world is watching and those photographers are just waiting to catch you out."
Rumours were rife Cheryl was in Cannes to meet with film bosses, but she claims she is only tentatively considering a movie career and is concentrating on music for now.
She said: "Doing a cameo in the [2012] film 'What To Expect When You're Expecting' has [given me the acting bug]. I loved that. We were on set, everyone was like a family and, you know, I thought, 'I could really do this'. I've appeared in so many videos and that is a form of acting. So yes, I am definitely interested."
