Harry Styles is furious about Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson's "stupid and reckless" behaviour.
The One Direction hunk's bandmates were captured on film joking about smoking marijuana as they passed around a suspicious-looking roll-up cigarette as they were reportedly being taken to Peru's Estadio Nacional in Lima on April 27, and Harry is said to be unimpressed by their antics, which were reportedly filmed on Louis' phone.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Harry is annoyed about the whole debacle. This should be one of the biggest weeks of the band's career with the launch of their UK stadium tour.
"Instead it has been taken over by this controversy. Harry thinks it was a stupid and reckless thing for Louis to allow to be filmed in the first place."
The footage emerged yesterday (28.05.14) while the group are in the midst of the UK leg of their 'Where We Are Tour' and the remaining members of One Direction - Harry, Niall Horan and Liam Payne - were not present in the short clip.
Harry has distanced himself from their behaviour and has even been travelling separately to his bandmates since he isn't "into these antics".
The insider added: "Despite Harry's reputation, he's incredibly professional and mature, and not into these sorts of antics."
Meanwhile, Louis seems worried and is anticipating the "reaction" from fans.
The source said: "He was up checking his phone to see the reaction.
"He understands the whole world is talking and he is trying to work out how to limit the damage."
The boys are set to take on North America from August 1 and there are now concerns about whether the authorities will allow them into the country because of the alleged drug use.
The insider added: "Everything is about America. It would be a disaster if Zayn and Louis had problems. The authorities could make an example of them."

Katy Perry has invited Prince Harry to go on holiday with her.
The 'Roar' singer - who is believed to have ended her brief romance with DJ Diplo - has reportedly always had a crush on the party-loving British royal so is making the most of her newly-single status by inviting him to hang out with her in Miami.
A source told the Daily Star newspaper: "Katy has always had a thing for Prince Harry. So she decided to be cheeky and invite him to spend Independence Day with her and friends in July.
"The message was sent through a mutual pal, and was very casual. Katy didn't want it to look like she was asking him on a date. But she has always had a thing for Englishmen..."
Harry, who recently split from Cressida Bonas, is said to be "tempted" by the pop princess' offer.
Katy is currently in London as part of the UK leg of her 'Prismatic' world tour, following rumours she had parted ways with Diplo last week.
The pair were first linked at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts festival, but things ground to a halt earlier this month because Katy wasn't ready to get back into a serious relationship.
The 29-year-old star was previously married to Russell Brand and split from her last serious boyfriend John Mayer earlier this year after 18 months of dating.

Chelsea Handler's US talk show will end on August 26.
The 39-year-old presenter - who confirmed in March she intended to leave 'Chelsea Lately' at the end of her contract - will depart E! three months before her current agreement comes to an end, and is delighted with the work she did for the network.
Chelsea said in a statement: "I myself am more surprised than anyone that I was able to hold down a job for seven years, and it was a fantastic seven years.
"I will always look back at my time on E! as most people look back at their time in college. I'm glad I went."
Suzanne Kolb, the president of E!, praised the star for adding "a distinct voice to late night with her acerbic wit and fearless commentary."
Until the station develops a possible replacement show, it will air E! News in the 11pm slot.
Chelsea - who is believed to have made around $9 million a year from the show - has previously voiced her concerns about the E! network and described it as "a sad, sad place to live."
She also said: "They don't know what they're doing. They have no ideas. It's a failure."
It is rumoured the comic will land a new contract with online streaming service Netflix.

Justin Bieber climbed over a 6ft fence to meet waiting fans.
The 'Believe' hitmaker scaled the metal railings after spotting a group of young females waiting outside his Los Angeles recording studio on Tuesday (27.05.14) evening, and happily posed for pictures and signed autographs.
The 20-year-old singer - who wore a white t-shirt, jeans and a heavy gold chain - even gave one of the fans a kiss after climbing the barrier.
Justin agreed to paparazzi requests to pose for pictures, but added: "I just wanna say hi to my fans."
The troubled star is said to be "trying to be a better person" after a number of recent controversies, including being arrested for driving under the influence (DUI) and getting into altercations with members of the public for allegedly taking pictures of him.
And Justin, who donated $545,000 to AIDS/ HIV research at the amfAR's 21st Cinema Against AIDS Gala in Antibes, France last week, recently urged fans not to believe everything they read about him and insisted he wants to be a good person.
He tweeted: "My mom raised me to be kind to others. I get judged, harassed, and I try to take the high road. Sometimes it isn't easy. But we keep trying.

Selena Gomez's grandfather has confirmed she is secretly battling lupus.
The 'Come & Get It' hitmaker was previously the subject of rumours she had the disease, and her family have now admitted she was diagnosed with the auto-immune condition "a couple of years ago" but has her symptoms under control.
Her grandfather Ricardo Gomez said: "She's in treatment. She's getting along pretty good."
Earlier this year, Selena - who has an on/off relationship with Justin Bieber - checked into rehab and her elderly relative is desperate for her to now follow medical advice and take a break from her career.
He told RadarOnline.com: "We just saw in some newspaper that she was doing drugs. I called her and said, [you] need to watch out ... She was working a lot. She was exhausted. She hardly takes some time out. There was some pressure, first because it's a lot of work.
"The doctor was telling her she needs to take some time out It's just too much pressure what she's going through. It's just too much! She doesn't have a single day's break ... It's getting to the point with all this pressure ... that it's too much.
"Everyone was telling her, even her agent and the doctor, 'Selena take some time to yourself!' "

The 28-year-old actress and boyfriend Justin Long have their own paddle boards and she's revealed she regularly takes her beloved German Shepherd Finn out on the waves because the mutt loves the water.
Talking on UK TV show 'This Morning', she said: "My boyfriend and I recently got a paddle board thanks to MRC who did 'A Million Ways to Die in the West' and Finn gets on the paddle board and we paddle out in the lake and he just sits on it. He's the best."

He's now had enough of being overweight and is determined to get back into shape.
Celebrity trainer Gunnar Peterson told TMZ he had received a text message from the reality TV star when he returned to Los Angeles from Florence, Italy, and is determined to "hit the ground running" with a new fitness regime and wants to work out every day until he feels slim again.
Rob previously lapsed his workouts and visited the gym just a few times before flying out to Europe, but is now determined to get into a regular routine.
Gunnar told the website he will show his client "no mercy" and plans to put him through an hour of high-intensity full body exercises, cardio and resistance training every day.
He added: "Rob is locked and loaded."
It was previously claimed the 27-year-old star - whose over-eating began following his break-up from Rita Ora in 2013 - allegedly got into an argument with Kim over her lavish wedding extravaganza, which he branded "superficial bulls**t".
Things kicked off between the siblings during a lunch at designer Valentino's Château de Wideville in Crespières, France, and Rob headed for the airport shortly afterwards.
An insider said: "Rob is not in a good place right now at all and his family should be very worried about him. He was embarrassed to go to the wedding in the first place because of his weight gain and to be ridiculed by Kim and basically rejected has put him over the edge."
