Taylor Swift has a new kitten

Taylor Swift has a new kitten.
The 24-year-old singer took to her Instagram account last night (18.06.14) to introduce her fans to her new furry friend.
The blonde beauty posted an adorable picture of the white fluffy feline looking up at her with her big blue eyes, which she accompanied with the caption: "Meet Olivia Benson."
It is believed the '22' hitmaker named the kitten after her favourite 'Law & Order: Special Victims Unit' character as she previously admitted she can spend hours watching the US crime series.
She once told Teen Vogue magazine: "I sit in my apartment and watch hours of that show. So I sort of feel like me and Olivia are BFFs [best friends forever]."
Meanwhile, this isn't the first time Taylor has given her pets monikers to represent her favourite TV show characters as she also named her grey tabby cat Meredith after Meredith Grey in the medical drama 'Grey's Anatomy'.
She said in 2011: "Her name is Meredith--Meredith Grey because she's a grey cat, and because I love 'Grey's Anatomy'. She's awesome. She's like one of those cats that give cats a good name. She doesn't hide under furniture and get weird around people. She's really friendly and fun and she's perfect for the road because she doesn't ever get freaked out."
However, Taylor's friend Ed Sheeran, 23, has different thoughts about Meredith.
He said previously: "Meredith doesn't like anyone. There's moments when she doesn't even like Taylor. She's just a very ungrateful cat. She just expects it to come to her and if it doesn't then she'll just glare at you."

Mike Myers was urinated on during soccer match

Mike Myers was urinated on during a soccer match.
The 'Austin Powers' star - whose father is originally from Liverpool in North West England - is a big Liverpool F.C. fan and claims when he went to a match at their stadium with his cousins during a visit to the UK, he got an unexpected surprise.
He explained: "It was fantastic to see Liverpool play but in the olden days they didn't have seats so behind the goal there's this place called 'The Kop' in Liverpool and it's super-steep and the crowd all moves together.
"All of a sudden there was this giant guy behind me and he had this magazine and I thought, 'Who brings a magazine to a soccer game?' And he rolls it up and he pees through it onto the back of my leg and I can't move.
"I said, 'Dude', because I'm Canadian the best I could do was say, 'Hey buddy, what are you, mental or something?' And he just looked down at me with bits of pie flying out of his mouth and said, 'Have you got a problem with that, mate?' And I was like, 'Nope, perfectly fine.' "
The 51-year-old comedian also revealed he proposed to his wife Kelly Tisdale during a 2010 World Cup match between the USA and England, but struggled to hide the ring because his soccer kit was too tight.
Speaking on 'Late Night with Seth Meyers', he said: "I wore everything. The England shirt, the England shorts, but because I bought them online they ended up being really uncomfortable short shorts ... I had this big box in my pocket that I was trying to hide.
"I was waiting for the right moment and then England scored and I got on my knee and I said, 'Will you marry me?' And she said, 'Yes', and I thought, 'This is fantastic!' "

Harrison Ford ready to ignore doctors for Star Wars

Harrison Ford is ready to ignore medical advice and return to the 'Star Wars: Episode VII' set.
The 71-year-old actor - who has reprised his role as Hans Solo in the new instalment of the sci-fi franchise - was rushed to hospital last week after he was crushed by a hydraulic door on set.
The incident - which happened at Pinewood studios in Berkshire last Friday (12.06.14) - left Harrison with a broken ankle and the incident has caused major disruptions to the filming schedule on the blockbuster.
However, the 'Indiana Jones' star is reportedly ready to ignore doctor's orders telling him to rest for six to eight weeks and he is going to return to filming.
A source told the Daily Express newspaper: "Clearly he won't be able to do any physically demanding scenes and even walking will be a problem. But there are certain scenes that can be worked around Harrison's injury."
The accident has already caused the film's tight schedule to be reworked, although a spokesperson for Disney says director J.J Abrams and his team are "confident" that shooting will remain on track, with a December 2015 release date planned.
The spokesperson said: "The initial day or two it was hard to move things around but now we can juggle things. There are lots of other actors in the movie so it is not a disaster. We are still confident the film can stay on schedule."

Donnie Wahlberg planning wedding to Jenny McCarthy

Jenny McCarthy is letting Donnie Wahlberg plan their wedding.
'The View' co-cost is so laid-back about getting married that she has given the New Kids on the Block singer - who she got engaged to in April - complete free reign to organise their upcoming nuptials.
She told PEOPLE magazine: "I trust his style. So whatever he wants. All I know is that this is our last wedding and we're going to make it great."
Donnie intends to keep the ceremony simple and won't be taking any tips from Kanye West's extravagant Italian wedding to Kim Kardashian last month.
The 44-year-old star joked: "Don't be calling me Kanye West. I like Kanye's music, but I don't know about his wedding style. That's a little too much."
One thing the happy couple are both agreed on, however, is that their children must play an important part in the ceremony.
Donnie said: "We have three boys together. They'll be a big part. We're about who's there and what the spirit is more so than where it is and how much money we spend. That's not what it is for us."
Jenny, 41, has a 12-year-old son, Evan, from her marriage to ex-husband John Mallory Asher.
Donnie has sons Xavier, 21, and Elijah, 12, with his ex-wife Kim Fey.

Louis Tomlinson launches campaign to help soccer team

One Direction star Louis Tomlinson has launched a £2 million Crowdfunder campaign to help his favourite soccer club Doncaster Rovers.
The singer - who has bought his hometown club with former chairman John Ryan - is appealing for help from the band's fans and football supporters to help realise his ambitions for the League One side.
Louis and John announced the news today (19.06.14) at a press conference in London and the pop singer said: "For me, this is all about the football, the community and restoring the excitement and desire to making Doncaster Rovers the most exciting club to play for in Yorkshire.
"I want to see the Doncaster Rovers supporters get the club the success it deserves. I grew up in Doncaster and have felt the love for football run through the town, it's for that reason that I have a real personal passion to make Doncaster Rovers a success story."
He added: "This is a big step which I believe will open up opportunities to provide a very, very exciting future for the club and its supporters."
The business partners have set up The Tomlinson Ryan Trust on Crowdfunder.co.uk and have pledged to donate a six-figure sum to the cause.
John is a self-made millionaire and entrepreneur, while Louis - who found fame with his 1D bandmates Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Niall Horan and Zayn Malik after being created by Simon Cowell on 'The X Factor' - is said to be worth about £14 million.
The 22-year-old pop star - who was born and raised in the town in South Yorkshire and has been a life-long fan of the team - was rumoured earlier this year to be planning a takeover bid, something that has become reality.
He has also played for the team during a fundraising match for the Bluebell Wood charity and against local rivals Barnsley F.C. in a reserve match.

Lena Dunham and boyfriend are old souls

Lena Dunham and her boyfriend are old souls.
Guitarist Jack Antonoff - who is one-third of 'We Are Young' hitmakers Fun. - has revealed the pair quickly hit it off when they began dating in 2012 because they both prefer dinner parties and relaxing spa days to partying.
Jack - who lives with the 'Girls' star in New York - said: "Here's a perfect story for what we're like ... one time we were at a dinner party where everyone was over 60 and, before we knew it, we realised that everyone at the table had gone outside to smoke pot and they didn't invite us. That basically says it all."
The 30-year-old musician can vividly recall meeting Lena, 28, on a blind date after being set up by his pal, comedian Mike Birbiglia, and he felt compelled to share details of his "whole life", including his high school romance with A-list star Scarlett Johansson, with the writer-and-actress on their first date.
He explained: "It was a blind date by modern standards. I mean, I used the internet.
"I told Lena everything about my whole life, because when you really like someone, you want them to know everything about you."
Meanwhile, Jack admits he is "desperate" to become a father now he's settled down.
He told New York Magazine: "It just seems like the most fun thing in the world. I've never met people who have kids who haven't looked me in the eye and been like, 'It's the greatest thing that's ever happened.'
"I think it's biological. I'm 30. I'm not that young, right? I'm not, like, 24 or 22. I'm no longer in the phase of my life where I talk about everything as in the future. Like, I'm in the future."

Samuel L. Jackson’s hamburger hell in UK

Samuel L. Jackson wanted to "scream" when he first came to England because he couldn't get a good hamburger.
The 'Snakes on a Plane' star has admitted he dreaded travelling to London in the 80s because the state of British cuisine was so bad compared to what it is now.
Fortunately, the 64-year-old actor no longer has to go hungry in the UK capital after learning where to find a proper "American hamburger".
Speaking to The Daily Telegraph newspaper, he said: "The food has gotten so much better since the 80s. When I first started coming here I could scream! Now, if I want an American hamburger, I know where to find one. I don't have to go to a Wendy's."
The BAFTA winner is now looking forward to spending his summer in the capital shooting the new Warner Bros. 'Tarzan' remake alongside Margot Robbie, Chistoph Waltz and Alexander Skarsgard.
He said: "I'm sort of enjoying my time. That will be my summer: spent in my air-conditioned bug-free jungle in London.
Although Samuel's role in the picture is yet to be confirmed, it is thought he will star as Tarzan's rival, a Congolese warlord, or his ex-mercenary sidekick George in the film which set for release in 2016.

True Blood to become a Broadway musical

'True Blood' star Stephen Moyer is working on turning the TV show into a Broadway musical.
The actor, who plays blood-sucker Bill Compton in the popular HBO vampire series, has teamed up with composer Nathan Barr to transfer the show to the stage.
Speaking to the New York Daily News' Confidenti@l column at the season seven premiere of 'True Blood' this week, Stephen said: "I helped Nathan with some of the songs and we presented them to producers. It is really interesting what he is doing and the music was actually quite good."
And although Stephen is happy to help behind the scenes, he insists he won't be playing 'Vampire Bill' on Broadway, despite starring in NBC's successful live telecast of 'The Sound of Music', because he and his co-star wife Anna Paquin have to look after their 20-month-old twins Charlie and Poppy.
He said: "Working in Broadway is tough and we have a young family here in L.A. And this stage show would be a younger man's role.
"It's time for me to move on from this now. I have loved every minute of it, but Anna and I are laying it to rest."
The 44-year-old actor, who directed the final season, also insists he had no problem watching hunk Joe Manganiello nibble on his wife in five minutes of sex scenes which were filmed for the show and had to be edited down.
He said: "If anything, I wanted it to be longer because I directed that scene as a really powerful moment to show that these two characters do really love one another.
"Anna doesn't really say anything about these sex scenes any more, after what we've done on the show. But I thought she and Joe looked good together.
"I've directed all of Joe's sex scenes in the show, and we are good mates. So I just said to him beforehand, 'Joe, just go for it,' And he did!"

Chelsea Handler to host Netflix talk show

Chelsea Handler has signed a deal with Netflix to present a new talk show.
The 39-year-old comedienne has agreed to front the series on the internet TV network from early 2016 across all Netflix territories in the world simultaneously but will be working for the company this year and in 2015.
Speaking about the deal, Chelsea - who announced earlier this year she is bowing out from her E! Show 'Chelsea Lately' - said: "If I was going to continue working in this industry, I knew I had to do something outside the box to keep myself interested. I wanted to sit with the cool kids at lunch so I approached Netflix to make sure they were as cool as I thought they were, and when I confirmed my suspicions, like with any other future lover, I made my move. I'm more excited than I've been in a while, and the team at Netflix is the most forward-thinking, alert group I've sat down with in ages. No offence to the Shahs Of Sunset."
Netflix Chief Content Officer Ted Sarandos says the company is delighted to have signed the comic, adding: "Chelsea has built a huge following on tour, on nightly TV and through her best-selling books and we can't wait to introduce her breathtakingly honest and irreverent voice to our global membership."
Before the revolutionary new series starts, Chelsea will appear in a special on-hour stand-up show - featuring her 'Uganda Be Kidding Me Live' routine - for Netflix which will be filmed at the Harris Theater in Chicago on June 20 and broadcast on October 10.
In 2015, Chelsea will film four docu-comedy specials for Netflix and will be followed by cameras as she tries to learn more about various subjects such as NASCAR, the workings of Silicon Valley and the NBA player draft.
