Katy Perry has offered to write Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign song.
The 'Part Of Me' singer took to Twitter to extend the offer to the US Secretary of State and potential presidential candidate for the 2016 US elections after meeting her at a reception in Los Angeles on Thursday (19.06.14).
Katy shared a picture of the pair and wrote on the social networking site on Friday (20.06.14): "I told hillaryclinton that I would write her a "theme" song if she needs it..."
Hillary, 66 - who is yet to announce whether she will run for president - replied to the singer on Saturday (21.06.14) and hinted the Katy's hit single 'Roar' would be the perfect theme tune.
She wrote on Twitter: "@katyperry Well that's not a Hard Choice. You already did! Keep letting us hear you Roar."
Meanwhile, Katy recently teamed up with her record company Capitol to launch her own record label Metamorphosis Music.
The 28-year-old - who has already signed her first singer/songwriter Ferras Alqaisi to the imprint - broke the news on Twitter last week.
She wrote: "I am so ECSTATIC to finally announce my NEW label Metamorphosis Music & my first signing, the incredibly talented & soulful FERRAS! (sic)"
Katy went on to praise her new signing and promoted his new self-titled EP, which includes a duet with her entitled 'Legends Never Die'.
She added: "USA/CANADA: check out his INCREDIBLE ep here (& our duet!) and come see him play on #ThePrismaticWorldTour (sic)."

Kelly Osbourne hooking up with Puff Daddy’s stepson

Kelly Osbourne is "hooking up" with Puff Daddy's stepson Quincy Combs.
The 'Fashion Police' co-host, who split from fiancé Matthew Mosshart in January, has reportedly grown close to Quincy and also has her eye on British model Ricki Hall.
A source told Us Weekly: "Kelly is single, but she's having a lot of fun. She's been hooking up with Quincy, her really good friend lately...
"It's not serious but he's really hot and he's very into her!"
A few months ago, Quincy, 23, posted a photograph of himself with Kelly, 29, on his Instagram account, with the caption: "With the oh so eccentric @kellyosbourne!! (sic)"
Quincy is the son of Puff Daddy's on/off girlfriend Kimberly Porter and singer and producer Albert Joseph Brown III, also known as Al B. Sure.
Meanwhile, Kelly is said to be keeping her options open and has been flirting with 27-year-old bearded hunk Ricki.
The insider claims the pair have been messaging via social media and she is fond of the model.
It's no surprise that Kelly isn't short of offers from men after she showed off her enviable figure and pert butt in a thong on Instagram on Friday (20.06.14).
Her hairstylist Ryan Randall is seen sitting next to her in the snap and admiring the view.

Prince Jackson: Michael was ‘the best’ father

Michael Jackson's son says he was the "best father".
Prince Jackson - who was just 12 when the King of Pop died of acute Propofol intoxication in 2009 - and his siblings Paris, 16, and Blanket, 12, want to preserve their father's memory by continuing to "spread his message" of love.
Prince said: "We want to keep my dad's legend alive.
"He was the best father anybody could have. He raised us the right way and there's nothing anyone can do to make us forget about him.
"He was always concerned about humanity. He helped many charities. In his songs his message was simple - love. We will continue to spread his message."
Prince, 17, wants to be a movie director but is determined to get as much experience in front of the camera as he can first, and doesn't expect to get jobs just because of his famous father.
He told The Sun on Sunday newspaper: "I don't expect to walk into roles because of who I am. I want to learn my craft.
"I would like to be a director one day. But to be a good director you have to know how an actor works and feels on set.
"I want to learn my craft and experience being in TV shows and possibly movies before I even consider going behind the camera.
"It is not a job to be taken lightly. You need to put your time in to learning something properly before overseeing others."

Miley Cyrus wants to ‘shelter’ her sister Noah

Miley Cyrus wants to 'shelter' her sister Noah.
The 'We Can't Stop' singer - who has been criticised in the past for her controversial on-stage behaviour and provocative dance routines - feels protective of her 14-year-old sibling and wants to preserve her innocence for as long as she can.
She told 2Day FM: "She's really into sports. She really loves horses, so I'm going to keep her on that and that kind of innocence as long as I can. It takes someone really strong and someone who doesn't care what people think [to survive this industry]."
However, the former 'Hannah Montana' actress admitted she would support her sister if she wanted to follow in her footsteps and become a star.
She said: "'She's a natural entertainer. Sometimes I'll be like, 'Oh my god, she's totally stealing my shine!' If she's in the room, all the attention is on Noah.
"She's kind of like a natural at it. So I feel like, if she wanted to [be a star] I wouldn't stop her."
The 21-year-old singer - who was accompanied by her sister and mother Tish on her worldwide 'Bangerz' tour - also admitted it was "easier" to perform with the pair dancing along to her routines.
She explained: "[Noah] does the dances with me the whole time. Sometimes she'll be doing them wrong and I'll notice I'm following her and doing the dance she's doing. So it's fun. We just play with each other the entire show because it makes it easier when you have your family there. My mom [Tish] does the whole thing too, she'll go to the front and do all the dances with me."

Avril Lavigne would love to have kids

Avril Lavigne would "love to" have children.
The 29-year-old singer - who is married to Nickelback rocker Chad Kroeger - definitely wants to have kids one day, but insists she is currently too busy with her work.
She said: "I'm really focused on my career at the moment.
"Down the road, I would love to be a mom, just not right now."
The 'Complicated' hitmaker thinks it is "crazy" she will turn 30 in September, but while she still feels young, she admits she has experienced a lot.
She said: "I feel young but yeah I've lived a lot. I've been doing this music career for over a decade and travelling non-stop. It's kind of crazy. I don't have a plan yet (for my 30th birthday) ... but I'm hoping for a big party."
These days, Avril admits she finds herself returning home to see her family a lot more than she did in the early days of her career.
She explained in an interview with QMI: "When I was a younger, like a teenager on the road, they're not necessarily where your priorities are at.
"But yeah, as I've gotten older I've realised how closer I am to my family more than ever. That's just a part of growing up and stuff like that. I've spent a lot of my time in Los Angeles and just really missed my family and was like, 'You know what? I want to spend more time with them 'cause they're the people at the end of the day that are really there for me, that have my back.' "

Kim Kardashian: I twerk in the bedroom

Kim Kardashian saves her "twerking" for "the bedroom".
The brunette beauty - who has 12-month-old daughter North with husband Kanye West - told her family she no longer goes to clubs but saves her raunchy dance moves to use in private.
She said: "My twerking skills are for the bedroom, not the club."
Kim was speaking with her mother Kris Jenner, sister Khloe Kardashian and half-sister Kendall Jenner during a Soul Cycle class on last night's (22.06.14) episode of 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians', and during the workout session, the showbiz matriarch was the subject of a number of mean comments from her younger daughter.
As Kris started clapping and dancing to the music, Kendall blasted: "Do you always have to be the centre of attention? It's so annoying
"Eww mom, you're so embarrassing, you need to act your age."
She then muttered: "Desperate f***ing w***e."
Kris, 58, didn't appear to hear the comment and later told her daughters: "This reminds me of being in the club, for real. I love the music, I love the energy, everyone's so excited."
Kendall snapped: "Why are you going to clubs? This is so embarrassing."
Kris said she simply liked "being out an about", prompting the teenager to brand her an "embarrassment to the family".
While Kim stayed silent, Khloe laughed at Kendall's mean comments and later criticised her mother for needing more attention following her split from husband Bruce Jenner last October.
She said: "Ever since Bruce moved out, my mom needs so much attention. But sometimes it's like, OK, relax, chill. Everyone knows you're here."
The sisters eventually saw they had been unfair and later apologised to their mother.

Will Ferrell angers New Yorkers

Shooting on Will Ferrell's new movie has angered New York residents.
The 46-year-old actor is currently filming 'Sleeping With Other People' - which is is producing along with Adam McKay - with Amanda Peet, Natasha Lyonne and Jason Sudeikis and householders in the Upper West Side neighbourhood are annoyed by the fleet of "enormous trucks" that are blocking their driveways.
A source complained: "They've taken up three quarters of the block with 10 enormous trucks. The traffic here is like the president's in town."
According to insiders, Will was even booed when he left the West 81st Street property - which is Rosie O'Donnell's former home - where filming is currently taking place.
The source added to the New York Post newspaper's Page Six column: "[When they came out of the house], there was a mix of cheers and boos. The cheers were mostly for Natasha Lyonne."
The 'Anchorman' actor - who is father to Magnus, 10, Mattias, seven, and Axel, four, with his wife Viveca Paulin - recently admitted he is obsessed with children's building toy Lego.
He said: "I have had moments where I have sat down to help my son build the Millennium Falcon [craft from 'Star Wars'] and have literally told him to leave the room because I have to finish this one part. He can join me later. And I literally build it like for an hour. But then it's like, 'My God, what am I doing?' "

Keira Knightly: Learning guitar was terrible

Keira Knightley "nearly killed" her husband when he tried to teach her to play guitar.
The stunning actress, who had to learn to play the instrument for her role of Greta in the film 'Begin Again', admits it was a bad idea to let her husband, James Righton from indie band The Klaxons, teach her the basics.
Asked if it was fun being taught by James, she said: "No, I nearly killed him. Don't get your spouse to try to teach you a musical instrument. It's just a terrible idea. I wonder if there's ever been a death by guitar? Do you think anybody's ever done that? I did actually learn to play, but I can't sing and play at the same time."
The 29-year-old actress claims she doesn't know "anything about music at all" and has to concentrate on songs to be interested in them.
She said: "I never really listen to it [music]. If it's on in a room, I can't really hear it. I don't have that sort of brain. And that's another reason I was so interested in doing this film. I'm married to a musician, my best friends are completely obsessed with music, my brother was in bands - it completely surrounds me, but I really have to concentrate to pick it up. If I'm really drunk, then I'll dance, but I won't know what I'm listening to."
The 'Anna Karenina' star appears alongside Maroon 5 singer Adam Levine in the new movie, and Keira claims he was worried about his performance because he is relatively new to acting.
She told HELLO! magazine: "Adam kept saying that he was nervous, but I can't imagine Adam nervous. He has the most incredible confidence. He's a proper entertainer."
