Susan Sarandon worries about rude grandma name

Susan Sarandon worries her granddaughter will call her "Horny".
The 'Tammy' actress is due to become a grandmother for the first time next month when her daughter Eva Amurri Martino gives birth to her first child, and having recently decided she wants the youngster to call her 'Honey', she is now worried about the moniker getting mixed up with something more saucy.
She said: "I'm going to be a grandma in August for the first time. My grandma name is Honey so my daughter got me a necklace saying 'Honey', and someone asked me today if it says 'Horny'.
"I hope my granddaughter doesn't call me 'Horny'."
The 67-year-old star - who also has sons Jack, 24, and Miles, 21, with ex-partner Tim Robbins, as well as Eva, whose father is filmmaker Franco Amurri - went on to joke that she hopes to still feel "horny" by the time her granddaughter can speak.
She added to talk show host Jimmy Kimmel: "I hope I'm still horny by that time."
The 'Lovely Bones' star recently explained why she wants to be called Honey instead of grandma.
She explained: "It [Honey] seems different and sounds warm and sweet. I don't know if the baby will know how to say it right away, but that's what we are going for."

Cheryl Cole doesn’t plan

Cheryl Cole has learned not to make plans.
The 'Crazy Stupid Love' hitmaker - who divorced husband Ashley Cole in September 2010 after four years of marriage - was stunned when her personal life unravelled, particularly because she always expected to be the first member of Girls Aloud to have children, so now no longer has expectations for the future.
She said: "I thought I had every box ticked, career and persona. I was the first to get married. I was the one everyone thought would be the first to have a baby.
"And then the rug got pulled out from under me. I've learned that there is no such thing as a plan. You can't make them. I'm just enjoying finding out who I am. That's good enough right now."
Despite her experiences, Cheryl - who admits she "wasn't right in the head" when she was sacked from the US version of 'The X Factor' in 2011 - feels "lucky" because she grown stronger as a result.
She added in an interview with Britain's ELLE magazine: "I know I'm really lucky because none of what I've been through broke me. It actually taught me everything I'm going to need for the rest of my life. I love feeling that I'm strong because I have good women at my side. And I don't give a **** what people think any more."
In February, Cheryl's former bandmate Nadine Coyle became the first member of the group to become a mother when she and Jason Bell welcomed daughter Anaiya into the world, while Kimberley Walsh is also expecting her first child with partner Justin Scott.

Katy Perry believes in angels

Katy Perry believes in angels.
The 29-year-old singer noticed a white feather float past her as she was performing at the BB&T Center in Sunrise, Florida, on Wednesday night (02.07.14) and believes it is a sign that spiritual beings are protecting her.
The appearance of the symbol was even more significant to Katy as it happened as she was performing 'By The Grace of God' - the track she wrote in the wake of her divorce from Russell Brand.
In a series of Twitter posts, she revealed: "My favorite part of the night was when I was singing By the Grace of God & a little white feather (presumably from a costume) floated by ... & it reminded me about the angels & how, maybe, they are still looking after me, helping me continue to put one foot in front of the other. (sic)"
Katy takes her 'Prismatic World Tour' to the American Airlines Arena in Miami tonight (03.07.14).
As well as believing in angels, Katy also believes in aliens.
The 'Roar' hitmaker - who was raised by strict Christian pastor parents - has become increasingly interested in extra-terrestrials and is convinced humans are not alone in the universe.
She previously said: "I'm fascinated by that kind of stuff because of how I grew up, where everything was so black and white.
"Now I'm seeing a lot more colour in the world and asking more questions. So I'm very into things that are above and beyond me and were before me and will be after me ... I do hope that when the aliens come, they'll recognise me. I'll be like, 'Please don't kill me, I wrote a song called 'E.T.' "

Melissa McCarthy lost 9k wig

Melissa McCarthy lost a $9,000 wig on a jet ski.
The 43-year-old actress was testing a stunt for her new movie 'Tammy' but things went wrong when she failed to interpret her adviser's instructions properly and crashed in the water.
She recalled: "We were just doing a test. It's hard to shoot on water because everything's moving...so we did a test and I'm like, 'Isn't it a great idea if I'm in full wig and costume? Because if we shoot some stuff, maybe it's usable.'
"And I'm like, 'I'm kind of amazing at this,' because I'm really a couple steps ahead. I don't really know how to ride a jet ski--I've never been on one before.
"All I heard was 'faster' and 'dig in' [from the stunt co-ordinator]. So I literally cranked it up. I'm going like 45 miles per hour, thinking, 'Oh, god, I'm not skilled. I shouldn't be doing this. But the camera's getting it, so maybe it'll look good and we're ahead of schedule.'
"I flipped that thing at 45 miles an hour. I don't remember ever leaving it. All of a sudden, I literally was like, 'I'm in water.' I didn't know if I was up or down and I thought, 'Holy god, I've got that wig on'.
"We don't have a huge budget and a wig's like $9,000...which, by the way, had like 35 pins in it. You couldn't rip it off my head."
Despite the loss, Melissa tried to look on the bright side - only to learn cameras hadn't even captured the incident.
She added on 'Chelsea Lately': "Everybody was freaking out because I hit so hard and I was like, 'But at least we got it!' and they're like, 'The cameras weren't on!' "

Keira Knightley surprised co-stars with singing

Keira Knightley stunned her 'Begin Again' co-stars with her singing skills.
The 29-year-old beauty plays a singer-songwriter in the movie and all her co-stars were full of anticipation for her first musical scenes - and were left pleasantly surprised.
Mark Ruffalo recalled: "The tension was thick with anticipation and then she sang and everyone was like, 'Oh my God, she can sing.' "
Meanwhile, another of the film's cast, James Corden, admitted they were shocked when they were able to shoot in New York's busy Times Square without attracting a huge crowd.
Speaking during a Q&A session at the Apple Store on Regent Street, London, he said: "There was a great scene with Mark and Keira, which was shot in Times Square.
'With no permits, at 3am, one camera, about 10,000 tourists and Keira Knightley... and nobody noticed!"
During the fan meeting, Keira admitted she has her sights set on a "really dark" role next.
She said: "I love sci-fi, I want to do a sci-fi that is really dark."
Keira recently joked while she was pleased with her voice in the movie, she wanted to "sound like Adele".
She previously said: "I had actually done it on one other movie but in a very different style, but no, I've never sung like this. I was actually quite disappointed that I didn't sound like Adele.
"You know when you're in the shower and you're just singing and you think, 'Wow, I sound really good right now. I sound so good I could totally do that Adele thing'. And then you get into a recording studio, as I did, and you think, 'Oh, no, I can't do the Adele thing'."

Michelle Dockery is more confident

Michelle Dockery has got more confident since 'Downton Abbey' began.
The 32-year-old actress has portrayed Lady Mary Crawley in the period drama since its inception in 2010, and she can see a lot of parallels between herself and her alter ego.
She said: "It [Lady Mary's confidence] was a brashness that came from insecurity, whereas now it's different, she's very confident in her own skin, and I guess that's the parallel, really, with my own life.
"I feel like I've reached a point now where I'm much more content and confident."
Michelle says it has been "lovely" to return to the show for a fifth season, and admits she and her co-stars are always amused when they look back at publicity around the early episodes.
She told the August edition of Britain's Harper's Bazaar magazine: "There's a sense of nostalgia this year because we're that much further on.
"And some pictures from the first series make us go, 'Oh my God! We were so young.' We've all grown up together in a lot of ways. It's a lovely thing, really."
Michelle recently vowed to stay with the show until it ends.
Quizzed about speculation she might quit, she said: "It amuses me more than anything, because it's all speculation, and I think it's down to fact the show has such a popularity. But no, I'm here till the end, whenever that may be."

Kate Upton hates tabloid rumours

Kate Upton hates reading rumours about herself.
The 22-year-old bombshell says her mother is constantly scolding her about untrue stories she reads in the press and it drives her "crazy" that her family have to question her actions.
She told VOGUE.co.uk: "Reading things about myself that aren't true drives me crazy! I've managed to block it out, but my family really hasn't - so they'll read about me and then call me up saying, 'Are you alright? I saw this happened' and my mum will call and say, 'Well, I saw you went to Vegas, when you could have come to the family reunion...' and I'm like, 'Mum, I swear, I'm in Europe!' It's insane!"
Despite always looking like a pro on the red carpet, the Sports Illustrated beauty admits she sometimes feels infuriated by the photographers' demands.
Kate said: "I enjoy the red carpet for the first 10 minutes and then I'm like, 'Alright....let's go'. Sometimes the photographers get really bossy, like 'blow a kiss!', 'smile!' and I think, 'You don't know Mr, you're not a model! This outfit is meant to be fierce, it doesn't go with smiling!'
"When I first did red carpets, I used to listen and do what they said - but now I don't."
'The Other Woman' actress has found a secret weapon to combat nerves - flashing a killer smile.
She revealed: "My mother always taught me that smiling when you walk into a room is the best beauty secret, so if I'm nervous when I walk in I just smile, and I think everyone warms to you quicker that way.
"Sometimes people look stern when I come on set, just because they're concentrating or getting ready for their day, but I'll chat and smile and finally I break them down!"

David Arquette engaged

David Arquette has got engaged.
The 42-year-old actor proposed to girlfriend Christina McLarty as they enjoyed dinner at Mastro's steakhouse in Malibu, California with their son Charlie, two months, and his 10-year-old daughter Coco - who he has with ex-wife Courteney Cox - yesterday (02.07.14).
According to E! News, the group arrived at the ocean-view restaurant shortly after 6pm and around 45 minutes later, David asked his family to follow him outside, where he got down on one knee and popped the question with a blue-stoned ring.
Christina was heard asking: "Coco, did you know?"
The youngster replied "maybe", before bursting into giggles and shouting "engaged!".
The 33-year-old entertainment reporter was described as "beaming from ear to ear" when they walked back into the restaurant.
The happy news comes just days after David's ex-wife Courteney announced her own engagement, to Snow Patrol rocker Johnny McDaid and the former couple - who split in 2010 after almost 11 years of marriage - had reportedly had discussions about marriage to their new partners.
A source told Us Weekly magazine: "David was just waiting for the right time. He and Courteney both talked about taking the next step in their relationships ... They both want what's best for each other."

Cheryl Cole: Sacking was right

Cheryl Cole "wasn't well in the head" when she was fired from 'The US X Factor'.
The 31-year-old star admits she "went through hell" and was "driven mad" when she lost her job on the talent show after just a few weeks in 2011, but now thinks Simon Cowell was right to axe her from the judging panel.
She said: "I can talk about this because I'm OK about it now. But I went through hell and it literally drove me mad. I became so desensitised, you could say terrible things to me and I wouldn't even think about it.
'I'd read awful stuff about myself and not blink. I shut down because I didn't know what else to do.
"Now I can say that Simon was right to get rid of me. I wasn't well in the head when that was going on, so it wasn't going to work. But he wasn't right not to tell me to my face."
The 'Crazy Stupid Love' singer - who divorced husband Ashley Cole in 2010 amid allegations he had cheated on her - also admitted she felt she was having a nervous breakdown last year and realised she needed to take a break from the spotlight.
Cheryl - who has returned to the judging panel of the UK show - told Britain's ELLE magazine: "It only hit me at the beginning of 2013 that I'd completely lost myself. I'd look in a mirror and think, 'Who the hell is she?'
"I didn't know what I thought or felt about anything, couldn't make decisions - I didn't even know what to eat or drink.
"Something was seriously wrong: it felt like a nervous breakdown. I had to stop, get out of my life I'd been living and find myself again. The consequences if I didn't were just too frightening."
