Madonna was reportedly late for her jury service slot in a New York City courthouse today (07.07.14).
The 55-year-old singer was accused of receiving "special treatment" after she turned up 30 minutes after her scheduled arrival time protected by three policemen, two bodyguards, two court officials and an assistant.
After arriving at the court, the 'Material Girl' hitmaker - who dodged a jury summons in May with a doctor's note - set off the security system with her "heavy metal chains" and was then ushered into the private clerk's office instead of the regular jury assembly room.
Professor Marianne Pita told the New York Post newspaper's Page Six column: "That's pretty outrageous. It's a painfully long day and it doesn't seem quite right. Everyone should have to wait in the same line."
The blonde beauty angered jurors even more when she was not questioned for a panel and was allowed to leave early to prevent her presence from being a distraction.
Juror Anna said: "The whole idea is everyone is here to serve. It's ridiculous to make it a tiered system."
However, New York State Unified Court System spokesman David Bookstaver explained: "We had ample jurors today and had we needed her, she would have been sent out on a panel. We had sufficient jurors not to have created a further distraction for the courthouse. She got credit for her service and we're delighted she came."
Madonna will not be called forward for jury service in New York for at least another six years.

Amal Alamuddin's mother is reportedly against her marrying George Clooney.
Baria Alamuddin wants the human rights lawyer, who was born into a strict Lebanese religious sect in Beirut, to wed a Druze muslim and believes her daughter can find someone "better" than the 53-year-old Hollywood actor.
A friend of Baria told the MailOnline: "You would think Amal has hit the jackpot with George Clooney, but Baria is not happy. She thinks Amal can do better. She has been telling half of Beirut, in fact anyone that will listen, there are five hundred thousand Druze. Are none of them good enough for her?' "
Amal's beliefs forbid her to marry anyone outside of her religion and disobeying the rules could result in excommunication and social boycott.
Meanwhile, George's parents Nina and Nick are over the moon about their son's engagement and think Amal, 36, who they met over a year ago, is a "lovely girl".
Nina said previously: "You can say I'm extremely happy, Amal's a lovely girl."
The couple, who got engaged earlier this year, are expected to get married in September near Lake Como in Italy after spending last month scouting potential venues for the romantic nuptials.

Jessica Simpson followed a vegan diet in the lead-up to her wedding.
The 33-year-old star changed her eating plan by cutting out animal products two weeks before she married her fiancé Eric Johnson on Sunday (05.07.14) in order to be in the perfect shape for her big day.
A source told Us Weekly magazine: "Jessica did a vegan diet for about two weeks leading up to the wedding."
The 'With You' hitmaker, who has daughter Maxwell, two, and son Ace, 12 months, with Eric, lost 60 lbs earlier this year by following the Weight Watchers diet in order to fit into her glamorous gown.
A source close to the Weight Watchers spokesperson recently said: "One of her biggest weight-loss motivators has been looking great in her wedding dress. She's actually helped design it, and one thing is for sure: It will not be traditional!"
Meanwhile, Jessica's dress designer Carolina Herrera thought the star looked like a "beautiful golden girl" when she walked down the aisle in front of 250 guests at the San Ysidro Ranch in Montecito, California.
Speaking about the "sumptuous champagne and gold strapless multi-layer tulle gown," the fashion designer said previously: "The whole dress is embroidered in gold and feels very regal."

Mila Kunis "never wanted to get married".
The 30-year-old star is set to tie the knot with her fiancé Ashton Kutcher, 36, later this year, but she admits from a young age she was adamant she'd never get hitched.
Speaking in the August issue of W magazine, she said: "I never wanted to get married. From the age of 12, I prepared my parents for no marriage. Then things changed--I found the love of my life."
The 'Friends With Benefits' star is keen to wed her beau in secret without any guests, including their parents, watching them exchange vows.
She explained: "My theory on weddings is: Don't invite anyone. Do it privately and secretly. My parents are okay with that. They're just excited that I said yes."
Meanwhile, the couple are expecting their first child - a baby girl - together in October and Mila admits she will be putting her career on hold to be a full-time mother.
She said: "I have never wanted to be the person who only has business on her mind. To me, this job has always been a hobby that turned into a great profession, but I don't eat and breathe acting."
Ashton began dating the brunette beauty in 2012 following his split from his first wife Demi Moore in 2011.
The former couple's divorce was finalised last November and Ashton popped the question to Mila, whom he met on the set of 'That '70s Show' in 1998, a few months later.

Katie Price claims she's "natural".
The former glamour model, who has had five boob jobs in the past, insists she's had no cosmetic work done to her face apart from the occasional Botox procedure.
Katie, who is the global ambassador for hair dye removal product ColourB4 told the MailOnline: "I've had Botox, everyone knows that, but I'm natural. I've never been one to wear make-up. You don't need surgery to make yourself look younger, just change your hair colour."
The brunette beauty can't wait to dye her long locks after she's given birth to her fifth child - her second with estranged husband Kieran Hayler - later this summer.
She explained: "I've got a good set of hair, it's thick and in good condition. After I've had the baby I will change my colour, maybe go blonder for the summer. I can't wait. Me being me, I'll probably go too blonde though."
Meanwhile, the 36-year-old star - who already has a book deal, a lingerie line, a haircare range and an equestrian collection - admits she's got a few exciting projects lined up for the near future, but wants to take some time away from her busy career to care for her new arrival.
She said: "I have lots of exciting plans and I am going to focus on being a businesswoman. I've written the next four chapters of my autobiography this week.
"I'm not in a rush though and I just want to enjoy being a mum and doing things that I want to do. Things are going to be hectic after the baby but I'm all good."
Katie is also a mother to 10-month-old Jett, whom she has with Kieran, Harvey, 12, Junior, eight, and Princess Tiaamii, six, who she has from previous relationships.

Kesha is starting a "cat cult".
The 27-year-old singer admits it's her dream to start up a movement based on the four-legged furry creatures and believes she would make a "good" leader of the group.
Speaking to E! News, she explained: "So I've always wanted to have a cult, I think I could be a pretty good cult leader basically. I'm sorry, I do.
"So I'm going to start a cult and people can be in it if they like to be cats or play with cats or play with cat toys."
However, the 'TiK ToK' hitmaker admits the members of the cult will have to pass some tests - including eating cat litter - before they'll be allowed to join the group.
She explained: "You have to eat a little bit of glitter. It's mixed in with cat litter. It's part of the process."
Meanwhile, Kesha - who recently dropped the dollar sign from her name - sought treatment in a rehab facility near Chicago for an eating disorder earlier this year and admits she's finally learnt to accept and love herself.
She said: "My whole message is to love who you are and accept all your beautiful imperfections. When I felt I was slipping into unloving territory with myself, I knew I had to listen to my own advice and correct it...I felt I needed to get help, not only for myself but also for my fans. My worst fear in life is to be fake."

Cameron Diaz introduced Benji Madden to her family over the weekend.
The 41-year-old actress and the Good Charlotte rocker, 35, proved their relationship is getting serious after they flew to Orlando, Florida, to celebrate Independence Day (04.07.14) with her loved ones.
A source told E! News: "They flew into Orlando and then drove to Tampa where they met up for a reunion. They also spent a few days at the beach on Anna Maria Island, where Cameron's family has a house. It was a great vacation and they had a blast spending time with Cameron's nieces and nephews."
The couple's five-day trip marks the first known time the blonde beauty has introduced her beau to her family, but it seems the hunk made a very good impression.
A source explained: "They were giving the kids piggyback rides and seemed like the best babysitters ever. The kids all couldn't wait to hang out with Cameron, and Benji was right there with her having fun."
However, the loved-up duo, who went public with their romance in May, also managed to sneak in some alone time during their busy family vacation.
The source said: "Cameron was hugging Benji from behind and kissing him whenever there was a free moment. They swam together and went to some of Cameron's favourite local restaurants.
"They seem like they are having fun getting to know each other and taking it to the next level."

Mario Balotelli has distracted himself from his World Cup woes by taking a beach vacation with his fiancée Fanny Neguesha.
The 23-year-old Italy striker was spotted frolicking in the sea with the raven-haired beauty in Miami, Florida, just weeks after Italy crashed out of this year's FIFA World Cup in Brazil.
Fanny - who has been dating Mario since October 2013 - showed off her incredible figure in a pair of tiny multicoloured hot pants whilst the A.C Milan star wore a simple white t-shirt and camouflage shorts as the pair strolled barefoot along the sand.
Mario - who scored just one goal in the tournament against England - popped the question to the Belgian model on her 23rd birthday just days before Italy's World Cup clash with England in Manaus.
He announced the engagement via Instagram where he posted an image of his fiancée's hand wearing a huge diamond ring and a snap of a beach sunset.
He captioned the image: "She said yes ... The most important yes in my life. That was the place of my question! I Love you and happy birthday too! Je t'aime my WIFE (sic)"
Fanny - who has a tattoo to show her dedication to the footballer on the inside of her arm - also took to the picture sharing site to post the same snap as her husband-to-be, along with the caption: "Tonight, I said the most important yes of my life. That was the best present for my birthday! I love you first and unique husband."

Cara Delevingne is set to launch a pop career and is being mentored by Sinitta
The supermodel has turned to the 80s pop star for help with a "top-secret" project, rumoured to be an attempt to crack the charts.
Sinitta told the London Evening Standard newspaper: "It's a top-secret project and it's true that I'm helping her as a mentor."
When probed further about the Burberry model's music plans, Simon Cowell's ex-girlfriend replied: "I'm sorry, I just can't answer that."
Rumours about Cara branching out into music surfaced when she was spotted leaving the London offices of Simon's SyCo record label earlier this year.
And Sinitta - who has regularly helped Simon choose his finalists on singing contest 'The X Factor' in the past - says she plans to share the knowledge the music mogul has given her over the course of her career with Cara.
She teased: "It's about finding people who have natural passion and doing what Simon did with me: help them focus their creativity and ideas in a positive direction and give them an outlet."
This news comes mere months after multi-talented model Cara launched an acting career with a role in Sky Arts TV drama 'Timeless' and upcoming British film 'Kids in Love'.
