Paris Hilton has given up junk food.
The 'Come Alive' singer has loved greasy burgers and fries since she was a child but has lost weight and feels much better about herself since changing her eating habits.
She told MailOnline: "I lost about five pounds just from staying away from the Drive-Thrus. I can feel the difference especially when I'm in a bathing suit.
"I used to eat that way, but I decided to change things this year. Now I don't do that. There are times when I will stop at a Carl's Jr, but I will maybe get a turkey burger or something healthier instead of a cheeseburger and fries. I am more careful now."
Instead, the 33-year-old socialite - who is dating 22-year-old model River Viperii - favours healthy juices, fruits and salads.
She added: "I like green smoothies, they taste good and they make me feel more energetic.
"I also like regular juices. I get a lot more vitamins these days, more fruits too, more vegetables, more protein, more salads."
While she has been taking more care of herself, Paris insists she will never be found in a gym as she prefers to stay active with more "tomboy" pursuits.
She said: "I have never been a gym person, it's not me.
"I don't think people expect to hear this, but I grew up a tomboy. I would always play ice hockey, go skiing when I could. I would surf, ride bikes, swim. I love to work out outside. I have always been very active."

Katie Couric's wedding day was "perfect".
The talk show host tied the knot with John Molner in an intimate ceremony at their home in East Hampton, New York last month that was attended just by family - including her daughters Ellie, 22, and Carrie, 17, and his children Allie and Henry - and close friends and she says the nuptials were everything she wanted.
She told 'Access Hollywood': "It was really magical because it was small and intimate.
"It just felt perfect. It wasn't a big show. It was quiet and intimate. It wasn't a spectacle.
"It was everything I wanted it to be and I have no regrets about any of it. It was just perfect."
At the nuptials, he 57-year-old presenter wore a Carmen Marc Valvo ivory crystal beaded and embroidered Chantilly lace gown with a halter neck, and John's nieces and nephews were ring bearers and flower girls.
The couple's garden was decked out especially for the celebration, with centerpieces including garden roses, dahlias, hydrangeas and peonies, while guests were entertained by music from Hank Lane and tucked into a delicious strawberry lemon cake after their meal.
The couple got engaged last September after two years of dating.
Katie was previously married to Jay Monahan - the father of her daughters - but she was widowed when he tragically died from colon cancer in 1998 at the age of 42.

Sharon Stone is "available for dating" again.
The 'Basic Instinct' actress admitted she was more focused on her children - Roan, 13, Laird, eight, and seven-year-old Quinn - "when they were little" but now they're a bit older she is "comfortable" with trying to find a new relationship.
She told Extra's Mario Lopez: "What's happened is my kids have reached the age where I feel comfortable to date.
"I didn't want to date when they were little. Who needs a bunch of people running in and out of their lives?
"Now I feel comfortable dating ... I am available for dating."
The star - who was previously married to Michael Greenberg and Phil Bronstein - has been recently linked to her old friend Antonio Banderas, who split from his wife Melanie in May.
A source previously said: "Antonio and Sharon have been great friends for years.
"They have always flirted outrageously and now they're closer than ever.
"It's all very relaxed at the moment and they want to keep it quiet out of respect for Melanie, but there's no denying the spark is there."
However, the speculation was later quashed.

Scott Disick has quit drinking.
The 31-year-old TV star is reportedly determined to stay sober to prove to girlfriend Kourtney Kardashian - who is pregnant with his third child - he is serious about their relationship and wants to get things back on track following a string of recent rows, TMZ reports.
Last month, the 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' star - who has children Mason, four, and Penelope, two, with Scott - kicked Scott out of their Hamptons home because she was fed up of his hard-partying ways and it is reportedly his drinking that causes tension, rather than his hectic social life.
Insiders insist Kourtney, 35, doesn't mind Scott going to clubs as he makes a lot of money from public appearances and it is good for her family's business.
And evidence of the businessman's new leaf has already been seen; as he made an appearance at New Jersey nightspot Harrah's Pool After Dark at the weekend - for which he was paid around $50,000 - but didn't have a single drink, though he did smoke "a bunch" of cigarettes.
The news comes after it was revealed the couple - who have been together for eight years - have been having relationship counselling with Pastor Rich Wilkerson Jr., who officiated Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's wedding in Florence, Italy, in May.
A source said recently: "Pastor Rich Wilkerson Jr. is actually counselling Kourtney and Scott over their relationship problems."

Daniel Radcliffe will check into rehab to help him quit smoking.
The 'Harry Potter' star- who has struggled with alcohol addiction in the past - is reportedly checking in to a rehabilitation facility offering counselling, herbal remedies and even sports to help him kick his dependence on cigarettes.
A source told The Daily Star: "It will be a kind of residential treatment programme, involving counselling, both individual and group stress management and herbal treatments to help withdrawal symptoms.
"There's also a full exercise activity programmed which includes swimming, running and yoga."
After managing to curb his alcohol addiction, the 24-year-old actor - who allegedly smokes up to 20 cigarettes a day - is determined to conquer his cravings.
The source said: "Daniel knows he has an addictive personality, and he's been open in the past about his drinking demons.
"Thankfully he managed to kick the bottle. So now he's see's cigarettes as his last major vice to conquer and he is confident he'll succeed once again."
The 'Woman in Black' actor has previously confessed to "blacking out" every time he drank and told how it made him a "recluse at 20" who would stay at home and drink alone.
He has said: "The drinking was unhealthy and damaging to my body and my social life. That's beyond question.
"I was living in constant fear of who I'd meet, what I might have said to them, what I might have done with them, so I'd stay in my apartment for days and drink alone.
"I was a recluse at 20. It was pathetic -- it wasn't me. I'm a fun, polite person and it turned me into a rude bore."

Simon Cowell reportedly asked for colonic irrigation in a massage clinic.
The 54-year-old music mogul is said to have asked his limo driver to drop him off at a colonic cleansing centre for the procedure - where a patient's colon is flushed out through their bottom - but was instead left looking red-faced when he asked for the treatment at a reflexology centre.
Employees at the facility are said to have got the giggles when Simon asked: "Am I in the right place for a colonic?"
The 'X Factor' and 'Britain's Got Talent' judge - who is also a fan of intravenous vitamin injections, hand waxes and sheep placenta facials - reportedly looked puzzled when he walked into the centre in Chelsea, in London's West End, where they specialise in foot massages.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "He took a look around, checking out the foot maps.
"Staff disguised sniggers when he then asked about his colonic appointment.
"One quietly pointed out he was in a reflexology clinic and the place he needed was up the road."
Simon - who has four-month-old son Eric with girlfriend Lauren Silverman - was said to be looking for Cosmetech, a clinic which charges £97 for the process and he once said of the treatment, "It's so cleansing - and it makes my eyes shine brighter".

Eminem is enjoying a two-day spa break before his London comeback gigs.
The boisterous rapper - real name Marshall Mathers - has reportedly checked himself into the Coworth Park Hotel in Berkshire, south east England, for a series of relaxing treatments to prepare for his sold-out shows at Wembley Stadium this weekend.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Eminem is having all sorts of treatments, he's really getting into it. He now sees it as perfect preparation for big shows as he completely relaxes.
"He's a perfectionist and wants to be in the best shape physically and mentally for the gig."
Eminem's spa break is a far cry from the star's hell-raising past and he is eager to make a good impression when he returns to the stage in London for the first time since 2001.
The 'Monster' hitmaker was originally due to perform at London's famous Hyde Park but he was banned from playing the venue because of his "offensive" rap lyrics.
Royal Parks, which runs Hyde Park, deemed the 41-year-old rapper a possible nuisance to nearby residents.
In an email, Royal Parks CEO Linda Lennon said: "The nature of any act with potential for lyrics to be deemed offensive and/or unsuitable language being audible within the park as a whole, let alone the surrounding residential areas, is unacceptable."

Brad Pitt treated himself to a budget burger meal on Tuesday night (08.07.14).
The Hollywood actor was spotted ordering up a £6.35 cheeseburger meal at fast food chain Wimpy in Essex, but it seems the 50-year-old star missed out on a sweet treat to follow up his burger as the restaurant ran out of his favourite doughnuts.
A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "Brad was really polite and friendly to staff. He's a fan of the Wimpy donuts after having them when he was filming 'World War Z' here a few years ago, but sadly there weren't any on Tuesday night.
"He is expected to come back later this week to pick some up."
Brad, who was joined by three friends and flanked by two security men, visited the modestly-priced takeaway at around 8pm and also bought a smokey barbecue burger with chips for £9.85, a £2.95 cheeseburger and a £4.60 sausage, egg and chips deal.
The actor - who is thought to be filming at the nearby Hanningfield Reservoir in Essex - was later spotted enjoying a pint of beer at the Red Lion, a traditional pub in Billericay, Essex.
An onlooker said: "There was no fuss, Brad clearly just wanted to chill out after his day on set. He looked super casual and did his best to fit in."

Kesha admits checking into rehab was the "scariest" day of her life.
The 'Tik Tok' singer spent two months in a rehabilitation centre being treated for an eating disorder this January, and says she cried incessantly after her mother dropped her off and worried what people would think of her.
The 27-year-old star recalled to Britain's ELLE magazine: "The first day at the treatment centre was the scariest of my life. As I lay in the tiny, bare room, crying and clutching a stuffed lion that Mom had given me, I worried what people would think... Sure, I've written songs about partying, but my dirty little secret is that I'm actually incredibly responsible."
Kesha revealed her self-image problems started when she went to middle school in Nashville, Tennessee, and while she managed to keep her demons at bay by focusing on her music and not her looks, she was unable to shake her fears of being an "outcast" and not conforming to the norm.
She explained: "Ever since I can remember, I got bullied at school because I was different. Normal girls in the normal neighbourhood where we lived were supposed to be pretty and quiet and look perfect ...
"To cope, I dedicated myself to my music, working on it every day until, when I was 18 in 2005, I was signed by a record label. Suddenly, it was OK to be different. I had fun with my style. I wore my hair in a Mohawk and did my make-up like Alice Cooper.
"If someone called me pretty, I'd sneer and smear more glitter on my face. I didn't want to be just pretty - I was wild, crazy and free.
"I talked about sex, about drinking. When men do that, its rock and roll, but when I did it, people assumed I was a train wreck. I played confident but still felt like an outcast."
