Tom Green says his marriage to Drew Barrymore was a "crazy whirlwind".
The MTV presenter tied the knot with the 'Charlie's Angels' star in 2001 but they separated just five months later and the 42-year-old host admits he still doesn't feel "comfortable" talking about their union.
Speaking on 'Oprah: Where Are They Now?', he said: "It was just a very short period of time that I had a brief marriage.
"I don't really tend to talk about it that much comfortably [or] publicly. All of that was part of that sort of crazy, whirlwind of a time."
Tom no longer keeps in touch with Drew - who has daughters Olive, 22 months, and Frankie, three months, with husband Will Kopelman - but is pleased she has found happiness.
He added: "I haven't talked to her in many, many years. I'm glad she's doing great. I'm really happy that she's doing good."
The 'Road Trip' star spoke of his regret that his marriage to the 39-year-old beauty had come to an end when he filed for divorce, citing "irreconcilable differences", in December 2001.
He said at the time: "Drew is a wonderful woman. I love her very much. I wish our marriage could have worked out. I wish her much happiness."

Orlando Bloom was reportedly "flirting" with Nina Dobrev over the weekend.
The 'Lord of the Rings' actor - who split from wife Miranda Kerr, the mother of his three-year-old son Flynn, last October - attended a number of Comic-Con parties in San Diego with the 'Vampire Diaries' actress and the pair appeared very close.
Orlando arrived alone at Playboy's 'Bates Motel' party on Friday (25.07.14) night, but was soon joined at his table by Nina - who recently split from her co-star Ian Somerhalder - and the pair were seen "talking closely" while he drank tequila.
The pair then left together and were spotted after midnight at the exclusive Nerd HQ party, where they were "dancing very closely, flirting, laughing and whispering in each other's ears".
The source added to the New York Daily News newspaper's Confidenti@l column: "Orlando is usually reserved, but he had his hands around her waist and he was dancing with her very closely. At one point, I really thought they were going to kiss."
While Orlando, 37, appears to be growing close to 25-year-old Nina, it was recently claimed his ex-wife is still romancing James Packer and was spotted making secret visits to his New York hotel, despite previously denying she was dating the Australian billionaire.

Lily Allen doesn't "feel worthy" of her husband.
The 'Hard Out Here' hitmaker still can't believe she has married someone as "amazing" as Sam Cooper - the father of her daughters Ethel, two, and 18-month-old Marnie - and is in awe of the building firm boss.
She told Australia's 'Today' show: "I still don't feel worthy of my husband. He's an amazing person. I am very lucky to even have contact with someone like that never mind be married to them and have children."
In 2009, the 29-year-old singer announced she was retiring from music and though she originally intended to stick by her word, she felt unfulfilled out of the spotlight and it took her husband to point out returning to her pop career could make her feel better.
She explained: "I had no intention of coming back when I did take the time out.
"I just thought I'm going to be such a great mum. I'm going to be pureeing vegetables all of the time and being really patient and building Lego.
"As much as I love spending time with my children I haven't got the concentration span for that kind of thing.
"I was yearning for something and I didn't know what it was that I wanted. It was when my husband suggested, 'Maybe you need to start writing again'. It made me feel better."

Kendall Jenner is comfortable posing topless.
The 18-year-old model recently appeared naked from the waist up on the cover of Love magazine after doing a similar shoot previously for Interview magazine but insisted that she has no qualms about it.
Speaking to Australian DJ's Kyle Sandilands and Jackie O on KIIS FM, Kendall said: "The people that I work with make me very comfortable."
The cover shows Kendall wearing just a pair of jeans and a fur hood, with her arms protecting her modesty.
Meanwhile, Kendall's mother, Kris Jenner, 58, has gushed in the past that her daughter has the "perfect body".
The showbiz matriarch - who also manages her children - is proud of her model daughter's looks and has no problem with her topless shoots.
She said: "She's a model and that's really her profession. She's really good at what she does.
"She has like, the perfect body, especially one that wants to be in the modelling business. I don't know, I got a lot of curves and I couldn't pull that off. But she always looks remarkable."
Kris - who believes topless shoots just "come with the territory" of modelling - also credited Kendall's attitude towards the industry and admitted that the teen - who was featured in American Vogue - "just wants to do a good job".
She explained: "She's got such a good heart, and she's such a good kid. And she's really so happy in her own skin. She's not shy... it doesn't bother her."

Michael Hutchence's daughter is set to receive little to no inheritance from her father's estate.
The INXS frontman was believed to be worth millions when he died in 1997 but 18-year-old Tiger Lily Hutchence Geldof - who was adopted by her mother Paula Yates' ex-husband Bob Geldof following Paula's death in 2000 - is reportedly entitled to very little financial support from him.
Michael's brother Rhett Hutchence told New Idea magazine: "He would have hated this outcome to his will. He wanted his family to have his hard-earned wealth.
"Michael thought he had control of his assets but in the end, it only worked with Michael still alive. On his death he owned little or nothing."
Michael's lawyer and executor of his will Andrew Paul has claimed that legal arrangements designed to protect his income means his assets are tied up in private trusts to which his family now have no access.
And it was claimed in 2005 that properties in London, the south of France, Indonesia and on Australia's Gold Coast, which Michael's family thought he owned, were actually not his.
Publishing rights and royalties from his music and record sales were also not included in his estate.

A series of 'video portraits' of Lady Gaga raised over $1 million at auction over the weekend.
Avant-garde director Robert Wilson showcased his '23 Video Portraits of Lady Gaga' series at his annual Watermill Center gala in the Hamptons at the weekend, and the controversial images - which included the 'Born this Way' singer as a beheaded John the Baptist and hanging tied-up and naked upside-down - were then sold off.
Guests at the gala included Kim Cattrall, Jay McInerney, Philip Glass and Lisa Anastos, and as well as the Gaga-themed showcase, they also enjoyed an after-party featuring a woman singing opera from a hole in the ground, naked performance artists roaming through the venue and director Jim Jarmush playing guitar, the New York Post newspaper reports.
The '23 Video Portraits of Lady Gaga' - which was first shown at Paris' Louvre in November - saw Robert place the eccentric singer into several familiar paintings, replacing the original subjects.
Among the classic works of art he paid homage to were Jacques-Louis David's ;The Death of Marat' and Jean-Auguste-Dominique Ingres's 'Portrait of Mademoiselle Caroline Rivière'.
The director recently spoke of his awe in the 'Poker Face' singer for her "perfectionist" attitude and stunning "inner concentration".
He said: "An artist I've been dazzled by recently is Lady Gaga. She is highly disciplined and a perfectionist, and she has an inner concentration and beauty.
"She also speaks text brilliantly; her diction is perfect. I had her read text of the Marquis de Sade. She asked me how to do it, and I said, 'Fast, with 20 repeats of this line, five repeats of that.' Her ability to count and speak rapidly is astonishing."
The work will be displayed at the centre until September 14.

The 'Gravity' actress reached the milestone age on Saturday (26.07.14), but began her festivities early by heading to the Million Dollar Cowboy Bar in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, with a group of female pals to listen to country group Southern Soul Allstars.
A source said: "There were probably six to ten women in the group. It appeared to be a ladies night. They just came in to listen to the band."
Though the group - which included Chelsea Handler - didn't seem to be dancing, they all had a great time.
The onlooker added to E! News: "It was pretty low key. They all had one drink...and were all dressed casually.

Kendall Jenner was seen "flirting" with NBA star Chandler Parsons at the weekend.
The 18-year-old model and the 25-year-old basketball player were joined by her sister Kylie and two other pals at STK LA on Saturday (26.07.14) but they "sat next to each other" and appeared very close at the eatery.
An onlooker told the New York Post newspaper's Page Six column:
"Kendall and Chandler were flirting throughout the meal. They laughed and chatted all night."
Last week, the 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' star and her younger sister were in Dallas to unveil their new fashion line - and Chandler recently signed a three-year, $46 million deal with the Dallas Mavericks.

Kendall's mother, Kris Jenner, has also remained fond of the 20-year-old singer after he impressed her with his "polite and respectful" disposition.

Sir Mick Jagger has found new joy with the birth of his grandson and great-granddaughter following the tragic death of L'Wren Scott.
The Rolling Stones frontman was left devastated after his partner of 13 years committed suicide in March but now his daughter Jade Jagger - the rocker's only child with first wife Bianca Jagger - has revealed that the recent birth of her son, Ray Emmanuel, and her daughter Assisi's baby, Ezra Key, have been able to help him through this "difficult time".
Talking to Britain's HELLO! magazine, Jade shared: "He's been through a difficult time but it's been great to have two new babies in the family with the joy they bring.
"My dad loves babies. He's really good with them and is a big family man."
The 42-year-old designer and her daughter were pregnant at the same time, meaning that Ray Emmanuel is actually Ezra's uncle, despite being younger than his niece by a couple of weeks.
New mum Assisi revealed that Mick is looking forward to meeting his first ever great-grandchild and even added that the rocker - whose entire family currently call him by his first name - might go by the title 'Grandpappy' in the future.
She said: "I've spoken to Mick on the phone a few times and he's really keen to meet her. He's been asking about how she's changing and growing up. He'll meet her later this summer, hopefully. I'm really looking forward to the first family meet-up.
"I call him Mick so I'm not sure what she'll call him. Perhaps Grandpappy. But we haven't spoken about it yet."
