Chris Brown has denied any involvement in a fight in a club in New York City.
The police were keen to establish whether the 'Loyal' singer was involved in the scuffle at the VIP Room in the Meatpacking District, where he was performing at an after-party event for New York Fashion Week, according to TMZ.
However, Brown has tried to dampen all speculation by posting a denial on Twitter, explaining: "There was no brawl involving me or anyone from my camp last night at VIP room. The devil is in full effect at all times. God is the way (sic)."
Meanwhile, HollywoodLife has reported that Karrueche Tran is living at boyfriend Chris Brown's home.
The 26-year-old beauty is said to be dividing her time between her own abode and the 25-year-old singer's.
A source explained: "When she's not travelling and working overseas, she's with Chris at his house most of the time.
"She's between her apartment in the valley and his house these days and for now, it's working out for them."
The couple got back together in August shortly after they ended their three-year relationship.

Bill Murray insists he isn't an alcoholic because he hasn't found a nice enough drink.
The 'Ghostbusters' star fears his love of booze may have driven him to alcoholism at one point in his career but fortunately he isn't overly fond of a particular beverage and prefers to mix up a bit.
He told The Daily Telegraph newspaper: "I like alcohol but I don't have a favourite drink, which is probably why I'm not an alcoholic. If I had a favourite I'd probably be a drunk. I like to have different drinks. Last night I was drinking something with rum in it."
The Emmy award-winning actor - who also co-owns Caddyshack Restaurant in Florida, with the slogan 'Eat Drink and Be Murray' - puts his success down to a piece of advice he received in his early life.
He explained: "I think the only reasons I've had the career and life I've had is because someone told me secrets early on about living - the more relaxed you are, the better you are."
However, Murray, 63 - who landed his first starring role in the comedy 'Meatballs' in 1979 - insists he always knew he would be famous.
He said: "I knew back then I was going to be rich and famous and wear red clothes and not give a damn."

Jennifer Garner keeps "sexy Polaroid" photos of herself and husband Ben Affleck in their home.
The 42-year-old actress has admitted to keeping a hard copy of X-rated pictures that she has taken with her 'Daredevil' actor husband.
In an interview with Vanity Fair magazine, Jennifer confessed: "Polaroids! That's what we do at the Affleck house. We have a stack of sexy Polaroids."
The 'Dallas Buyers Club' star - who has three children with Ben, Violet, eight, Seraphina, five, and two-year-old Samuel - also admitted she is concerned by the worrying trend of teenagers using social media to send explicit photos to one another.
Talking at the Toronto International Film Festival to promote her new film, 'Men, Women And Children' which is based on technology at its effect on relationships, Jennifer shared: "It makes you feel kind of sick to your stomach because ... with parenting ... you're just trying to get it right,

Jennifer has previously expressed her desire to limit her children's access to the internet.
She told 'Entertainment Tonight Canada': "They don't need it. Until I really feel the need, but that's where I'm strict.
"I know I'm a long way from feeling like that's something we need in our lives."
Jennifer's sexy Polaroid revelation comes shortly after stars including fellow actress Jennifer Lawrence and model Kate Upton had several saucy pictures leaked onto the internet.
The photographs were allegedly stolen from Apple's iCloud service.

Earlier this month, Karrueche was in attendance at a Washington DC superior court to support Chris, who pleaded guilty to assault.
The star, who was charged with misdemeanour assault for allegedly punching Parker Adams outside the W Hotel in October, managed to escape jail time as he was sentenced to time already served by the judge.
Chris - who was previously placed on probation for five years and sentenced to six months community service for assaulting then-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009 - was released from jail on June 2 after spending 108 days behind bars for violating his probation.
But since coming out of prison, he recently said the experience has made him more mature.

Channing Tatum has a phobia of porcelain dolls.
The 'GI Joe' actor thinks the items have "freaky eyes" and admitted his unusual fear started after he saw a TV programme based on a possessed doll when he was younger.
Speaking on 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show', he explained: "I'm terrified of porcelain dolls. I just think they're freaky. They have, like, real eyes. I just imagine when I walk by them, their heads turn with you the whole time."
Despite his pleas to the contrary, the host then whipped out a doll from behind her chair and began taunting the 34-year-old hunk with the toy.
Channing then started to yell: "Stop! You are literally ruining my entire life."
However, Ellen decided to take credit for beating Channing's fear of dolls as she quipped: "See, it wasn't that bad."
The 'Step Up' star also confessed that he would hate to sing in a film, as he isn't comfortable with his voice.
He told the audience: "Singing would be a huge fear in a movie. No, no, no. I'm not doing that I'm way too afraid."

Khloe Kardashian has addressed her split from French Montana for the first time.
The 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' star posted some cryptic tweets on her Twitter account, one of which appeared to be directed at the 29-year-old rapper - who she has been dating for eight months - as she discussed someone causing happiness "whenever they go".
She wrote: "Some cause happiness wherever they go; others whenever they go."
The 30-year-old reality star also posted an inspirational quote on the social networking site which appeared to be related to her romance.
She tweeted: "Be grateful for what you have and stop complaining - it bores everybody else, does you no good, and doesn't solve any problems." Amen (sic)"
But she did hit out at one fan who said she is "better than that" for posting the quotes.
While the quotes she posted didn't appear to be that comical, she clearly found the funny side and wrote back to the Twitter user: "stop reading into things. It's a quote not towards a soul. Made me laugh. Hush up (sic)"
Earlier in the day, Khloe felt the need to inform her 11.1 million followers that she was disappointed she had woken up before sunrise.
She wrote: "Been up for an hour. I hate having 2 start my day before the sun. But oh well, I'm up... Shake it off sister (yes I'm talking to myself) (sic)"
Khloe's tweets come after it was reported yesterday (10.09.14) that she and French had gone on a break because the musician was said to be too "dependent" on her and "needy".
A source told Us Weekly: "They are on a break. The relationship got too heavy and Khloe needed to take a step back."
Another insider added: "It grated on her that he became so dependent on her."

The 39-year-old businessman - who was with the 'Modern Family' actress for four years before she called off their engagement earlier this year - admits they are still friends, despite her having already moved on.

Since splitting from Nick, Sofia, 42, has started dating 'Magic Mike' star Joe Manganiello and her former fiance has confessed he can certainly see the attraction.

Nick's comments come after he revealed earlier this week that if he was a woman he would want to date the 37-year-old hunk himself.
He told the New York Post: "He's a great-looking guy. I guess if I was a girl, I'd be dating him, too."
He did, however, appear to make a dig at Sofia - who has 21-year-old son Manolo from her marriage to Joe Gonzalez - by speaking about what kind of woman he's now looking for.
He said: "I'm sort of conservative, so I like a girl to dress a little classier."
