John Travolta has thought about death since he was five

John Travolta has thought about death since he was five years old.
The 60-year-old movie icon admitted the reality of his own mortality has been something he's always been aware of since his childhood - and he even thought someone could "die of a broken heart".
He told The Independent newspaper: "You're talking about a kid who's thought about life and death since he was five years old.
"I watched this Fellini movie when I was five called 'La Strada' and I said to my father 'Why did Giulietta Masina die?' and he said, 'She died of a broken heart.'
"[I said], 'Without being ill?' [He said] 'Yes!' It changed my whole life. I never wanted to break anyone's heart, for sure! But it made me consider that."
Meanwhile, the 'Pulp Fiction' actor discussed his career and how being in the film industry means you have to learn to be a fake by becoming another person.
He explained: "As an actor, you're pretending you're other people. You're actually hired to do it. And how well you do it is how well you research the characters. There it's important.
"In your own life, I think you have to be very truthful to yourself, for sure. Then I think you have to estimate how truthful you can be to others. I'm not a person who believes in the blunt truth. I think it's bulls**t."
He insisted there is a different degree of truth depending who you are talking to, with certain things kept secret from children, for example.
He added: "Lying and the truth is an interpretive thing. What would you call it? A variable? You have a child, but you don't tell them truths about certain things.
"You don't tell Grandma certain truths because maybe it's not necessary."

Gillian Anderson opens up about lesbian love affair

Gillian Anderson chose to open up about her lesbian affair because her former lover died from a brain tumour.
The former 'X-Files' actress spoke of her relationship with a woman - who she was with in high school - in the past, and she has now revealed she felt she owned it to her ex-partner after she passed away having turned down offers to sell her story.
She told the Mail on Sunday newspaper's Even magazine: "She had died of a brain tumour a year earlier and I had never really spoken about her.
"She was a beautiful person who was very meaningful in my life and I wanted to honour her instead of hiding my experience.
"There was a point years after we split when she phoned to tell me to say she had been offered a large amount of money to sell a photograph of us together and had chosen not to do it."
As a tribute to her, Gillian - who has had two husbands and a long-term relationship with Mark Griffiths, the father of her two sons - revealed the news to gay magazine Out two years ago.
She has now admitted she is grateful for her former lover for turning down the money she "really could have used".
She added: "It was a very big decision because she really could have used the money.
"I felt it was very important to take the onus off that type of relationship, to say this happened and I feel no shame about it."

Bruce Jenner dating again?

Bruce Jenner has sparked rumours he's dating again.
The former Olympian, 64, has fuelled speculation he's moved on from estranged wife Kris Jenner, 58, after he was spotted attending a Sir Elton John concert at the Staples Center in Los Angeles last night (04.10.14) with a mystery woman, who resembled his ex-spouse.
The pair were also joined by Bruce's eldest son Brandon, 33, from his second marriage, and his wife Leah, according to the Daily Mirror newspaper.
Kris and Bruce - who got married in 1999 and have daughters Kendall, 18, and Kylie, 17, together - announced their separation last October.
The matriarch - who also has Kim, Kourtney, Khloe and Rob from a past relationship - filed for divorce from Bruce last month, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason behind the end of their 23-year marriage.
A day after the papers were submitted to LA County Courthouse, Bruce responded to the legal documents and agreed to joint physical and legal custody of Kylie.
Meanwhile, Kris also has her sights set on finding love again as she recently admitted that it would be "amazing" for her to find a new boyfriend.
She said previously: "I want to definitely be in love, I like being in love, I think there's no better feeling in the world. So yeah, I mean that would be amazing."

Bella Thorne rekindles with Tristan Klier

Bella Thorne has got back together with Tristan Klier.
The 16-year-old actress sparked speculation she's rekindled her romance with Tristan after she posted a picture on Instagram last night (04.10.14) of the hunk standing on her doorstep with a bouquet of red roses, appearing to ask her to be his date at his homecoming.
Alongside the snap, she wrote: "YES!"
Bella, who had been dating Tristan for more than two years, announced last month that she'd called time on her relationship, but remained tight-lipped on what had caused the split.
A fan asked about her relationship status on Twitter, by tweeting: "Are u still with Tristan or not? I'm confused...", to which the 'Shake It Up' star responded with: "No I'm not."
Bella previously revealed she made Tristan wait six weeks before he was allowed to kiss her when they first started dating.
Earlier this summer, she said: "Tristan was not a relationship guy before me. On our first date, he thought I was going to be just like the other girls he had met who would always give it up and kiss him right away... I waited six weeks - I had to make sure he was in it to win it."

Mariah Carey slammed for vocals at gig

Mariah Carey has been criticised for her vocals following a concert in Japan yesterday (04.10.14).
The 'Hero' hitmaker kicked off her 'Elusive Chanteuse World Tour' in Tokyo last night, but it seems her energetic set didn't go down too well with some fans.
One person, Elle, wrote on Twitter: "It's a wrap for Mariah Carey's singing career. You're a legend. Time to retire.
"She can't sing anymore. At all. What happened?"
However, it wasn't all Mariah's fault as in footage, obtained by TMZ.com, from the gig, the singer, 44, appeared to be having issues with her microphone.
A user, who goes by handle Peaches & Herb, tweeted after seeing the video: "Y'all. Mariah Carey really can't sing anymore. That was hard to listen to.
"I see why Mariah Carey never sings live anymore. That's why."
She added: "Mariah Carey should've bowed out right when her voice was giving out. Save herself the embarrassment.
"I knew it was something wrong with MC though. No artist lip syncs at EVERY show. (sic)."
However, a representative for the stunning star claims they've only received good reviews from people who attended the opening show.
The spokesperson told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "The comments we have heard from the fans have been great!"
Meanwhile, Mariah's blip on stage comes just weeks after she split from her husband Nick Cannon, whom she married in 2008 and has three-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe with.

Mario Lopez lost virginity at 12

Mario Lopez lost his virginity when he was 12.
The 'Extra' host, 40 - who has daughter Gia, four, and 12-month-old son Dominic - had sex before he'd even reached his teenage years and it wasn't until recently that he realised how quickly he'd tried to grow up.
Writing in his new autobiography, 'Just Between Us, ' he explained: "I started having sex so young. The day before my 13th birthday.
"Now that I'm a dad, I look back and I think, 'Oh my God!' But you've got to understand, when you're growing up in the hood, everybody grows up fast."
The hunky star even revealed he got a girl pregnant when he was a youngster and was prepared to get a full-time job to support the unborn child and mother, but the pregnancy was ultimately terminated.
He said: "I could have a kid who is 25 years old. That's unbelievable."
Mario also opened up about his marriage with Ali Landry, which was annulled two weeks after their wedding in 2004 when photographs of him and another woman at his bachelor party started to surface.
He said of the scandal: "I got inebriated and a little too friendly with a young lady.
"When it was time to return home, lightning hit me with the truth: I wasn't in love. But I walked down the aisle. Ali was hurt and angry, rightfully so."
Mario is now married to Courtney Mazza, the mother of his children, and has been since 2012.

Cheryl Fernandez-Versini praises Kimberley Walsh as a mother

Cheryl Fernandez-Versini has praised Kimberley Walsh for how well she's adapted to motherhood.
The former Girls Aloud singer believes her ex-bandmate and best friend is a great mum to her four-week-old son Bobby, whom she has with her long-term partner Justin Scott, but she admits she's eagerly waiting for a chance to bond with the little one as well.
Speaking to The Sun newspaper's Fabulous magazine, Cheryl said: "She was like a perfect, instant mother and Justin is incredible.
"The problem is she won't be parted from [Bobby] for a minute, so I'm having to wait my turn.
"I've got a cot ready at my house. But really I just want a few hours holding him so I can totally bond with him. "But Kimberley is completely in love and won't let him out of her sight yet."
Meanwhile, the 31-year-old beauty faced criticism after she married her French beau Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini in a secret ceremony in July following just under a year of dating, but she's adamant she's made the right decision.
She explained: "It was my heart and my head. I'm not an 18 year old, I'm a 31-year-old woman and I know what I'm doing. I'm doing what makes me happy and that is what is right for me."
Cheryl refused to give away too much information about her relationship with Jean-Bernard but she admits she's learnt how to speak French now.
She said with a laugh: "I can speak pretty good French now."

Oprah Winfrey supports Lindsay Lohan at West End play

Oprah Winfrey watched Lindsay Lohan perform in 'Speed-The-Plow' last night (04.10.14).
The troubled star, who fluffed her lines on the opening night last week, received a "blessing" from her "fairy Godmother" after the 60-year-old star turned up at the West End production to offer her support.
Taking to her Instagram account, Lindsay posted a photograph of herself and Oprah, alongside the caption: "The definition of a blessing. Thank you @oprah and @Lupita_Nyongo for seeing the show tonight. Love you xx (sic)."
The flame-haired beauty, 28, then added a similar picture to her Twitter account with the message: So thrilled to have @Oprah and @Lupita_Nyongo in the audience tonight. Im a lucky girl! Xxo #myfairygodmother (sic)."
However, Oprah and '12 Years A Slave' actress Lupita Nyong'o weren't the only ones supporting Lindsay last night as her mother Dina also turned up.
She posted a picture of Dina, 52, on Instagram with the caption: "My beautiful mum supporting me! What a blessed life I've found. 🙏 @dinalohan @oprah #speedtheplow (sic)."

Cheryl Fernandez-Versini not ready for kids?

Cheryl Fernandez-Versini isn't in a rush to have children.
The former Girls Aloud singer married Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini in a secret ceremony in July and, although she wants to start a family at some point, she's pleased with how their romance is progressing.
Speaking in the Sunday People newspaper, she said about having kids with Jean-Bernard: "I haven't set a plan and I will let nature take its course.
"Right now I am very happy with the way things are."
Meanwhile, the 31-year-old beauty suffered a nervous breakdown in 2010 following her divorce from Ashley Cole, almost dying after catching malaria and getting sacked from the 'X Factor' US, but she insists she's in a much better place now and has learnt from the past.
She explained: "It [the nervous breakdown] will never happen again. I'm more conscious of the pressures now. I feel like a woman, I've grown up."
She added: "I was burnt out and I wasn't taking notice. I should have listened to the signals just to slow down.
"But I got sick [with malaria] and instead of taking the time off, I was like 'No, No,' I am going back to work.
"Within six to eight weeks, I was back on the 'X Factor' and I didn't even have the right blood back."
Cheryl is now a judge alongside Simon Cowell, Mel B and Louis Walsh on this year's 'X Factor' in the UK following a four-year break from the show.
