Kim Kardashian West's best friend insists Kendall Jenner had nothing to do with Selena Gomez's latest split from Justin Bieber.
Jonathan Cheban, 40, claims the 'Come & Get It' hitmaker, who reportedly dumped the Canadian singer after he had lunch with the reality TV star's younger sister in Paris behind her back, has no reason to be jealous of the 18-year-old model, and thinks Selena and Justin are "a good match."
The PR guru, who regularly appears on 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians,' told UsMagazine.com: "[Gomez and Bieber] are a great couple. I like them both. They're very cool and this is the best way to do a Hollywood relationship -- they're on for a few months, they break up."
Jonathan believes the 22-year-old actress and the 20-year-old singer will get back together again in the future.
He said: "Ultimately, if they loved each other, and they're settled down in a year or two, then they'll reconnect and keep it going. It seems like with the two of them, it's a forever thing. It does not end. It keeps going and going and I think it's awesome. They're a good match."
A source recently claimed the 'Rudderless' actress "doesn't trust Kendall's motives" and was furious with her on-again, off-again boyfriend, whom she first started dating in 2010, for taking the brunette beauty out for dinner while she was sightseeing in Paris late last month.
But asked about Kendall and Justin's friendship, Jonathan said: "The key word is friend."

Tallulah Willis admits getting off drugs is "the best decision" she's ever made.
The 20-year-old blogger - who is the youngest daughter of Demi Moore and ex-husband Bruce Willis - celebrated being 90 days sober on Friday (10.10.14) after seeking treatment in rehab earlier this year, and feels more positive because she is "no longer allowing chemicals to infiltrate" her body.
She marked the milestone by sharing a photograph of herself on Instagram, with the caption: "90 days ago I was a mucky mess."
She added: "Things are not perfect by any means but I radiate more positive energy on a daily basis then I ever thought possible. No longer allowing chemicals to infiltrate my bod was the best decision I've ever made. Here's 90 more days. Woot woot!"
Her older sister Rumer Willis, 26, showed her support by posting the same photograph on her own profile and wrote: "So proud of you."
Tallulah checked into The Meadows in Arizona for six weeks in late July shortly after revealing she battled an eating disorder and body dysmorphia when she was younger.
She said at the time: "I struggled a lot when I was younger.
"Like I'm diagnosed with body dysmorphia with reading those stupid f***ing tabloids when I was like 13 and feeling like I was ugly, like always. I believed the strangers more than the people who loved me because why would the people who love me be honest?"

Taylor Swift isn't sure if she wants children in the future.
The 'Shake It Off' hitmaker, who recently said it would take an "astonishing human being" to win her heart after a string of failed relationships, admits she hates the idea of raising a family in the spotlight.
The 24-year-old star said: "I don't know if I'll have kids."
She added: "It's impossible not to picture certain scenarios and how you would try to convince them that they have a normal life when, inevitably, there will be strange men pointing giant cameras at them from the time they are babies."
Taylor, who previously dated Harry Styles and John Mayer, also has no desire to meet the man of her dreams right now.
She told the November issue of InStyle magazine: "I'm too young to get married. Not age-wise, but I know myself, so why try to meet someone right now when I know I'm too young to do something serious?"
She added: "Being on my own, prioritising my girlfriends, my family and my music above everything else and trying things I never thought I'd try.
"It's really been a liberating and freeing time."

Angelina Jolie was made an honourary dame by Britain's Queen Elizabeth today (10.10.14).
The Oscar-winning actress, who was bestowed the prestigious title in recognition of her campaigning against sexual violence in the royal's annual list of Birthday Honours in June, was presented with the Insignia of an Honorary Dame Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of St Michael and St George during a special ceremony at Buckingham Palace in London.
The 39-year-old star attended the reception with husband Brad Pitt and their six children, Maddox, 13, Pax, 10, Zahara, nine, Shiloh, eight, and six-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne.
A Buckingham Palace spokesman said: "The audience itself between Miss Jolie and the Queen was private. Her Majesty presented her with the insignia in its box. Mr Pitt and the rest of the family were introduced to the Queen afterwards, however."
An insider also told UsMagazine.com: "The kids were very excited to be at Buckingham Palace. Everyone dressed up really smart."
The brunette beauty, who wore a tailored grey pencil skirt and wool crepe peplum jacket by Ralph & Russo couture, flew to London via private jet yesterday (09.10.14) from Malta, where she and Brad are filming 'By the Sea.'
The source added: "It was difficult to take time off from the film, but Angie wouldn't have missed this for the world. What a day!"
As she is not a member of the Commonwealth, the 'Maleficent' star is unable to receive a formal Dame title, which is the highest honor bestowed upon a citizen of the British Empire, and was named an Honourary Dame Grand Commander instead.
The actress previously said: "To receive an honour related to foreign policy means a great deal to me, as it is what I wish to dedicate my working life to."
