Shakira says her unborn baby is a "true gift" for her son.
The Colombian singer-songwriter is five months pregnant with her and boyfriend Gerard Piqué's second child and is excited for their son Milan to be getting a brother.
She told Brazilian TV show 'Domingo Espetacular': "It's going to be a true gift for Milan to have a brother. I'd like to have a girl one day, but we'll see, because you never know what's going to happen.
"At the moment I'm happy because I love boys too,"
The 37-year-old star recently claimed that she dreams of having "20 children" with her soccer star lover, but seems to already have her hands full with Milan, who will turn two in January.
She explained: "I try to be with him as much as possible. I look after him and his health, making sure that he eats well and on time, and that he sleeps well... When he sleeps well I'm happy."
The 'Can't Remember to Forget You' singer also opened up about her relationship with Gerard - who she has been dating since 2011 - revealing that the secret to their great bond is their shared values.
She added: "The family is really important to him; he is a real family man. We share the same values and that's one of the most important things, that's what makes our relationship so special."

Oscar de la Renta was in a wheelchair at Amal Clooney's wedding dress fitting.
The legendary fashion designer passed away earlier this week and Amal's mother Baria Alamuddin has revealed how he admitted he was unwell while at a fitting for the wedding dress he'd created for her daughter's recent wedding to George Clooney.
Quizzed on whether he'd attended all of Amal's fittings, Baria told BBC World Service's Newshour: "Yes he was, he was in every fitting and he was actively involved. I remember one time we walked to the fitting and he, we almost came into the design studio together, and he was on a wheelchair.
"My heart went out to him and he said, 'I haven't been well, I was in the hospital'. And basically he walked in with us and walked out with us."
Baria confessed that she, Amal and George will treasure the memory of sharing their special occasion with the 82-year-old designer - whose cause of death is yet to be determined - and knowing that Amal's stunning lace gown was the last he'd created.
She added: "It really gave it that extra place and pleasure and of course this is going to remain with us all our loves and that, that was the last wedding dress that he had designed."
Oscar, who was diagnosed with cancer in 2006, appeared alongside Amal in a photo of their final fitting - which was published in the October edition of Vogue magazine - and appeared to be in good health, despite his underlying issues.

Pierce Brosnan doesn't know how to use his TV.
The former 'James Bond' star has confessed that although he has a top-of-the-range television, he struggles to figure out how to turn it on without the help of his sons Dylan, 15, and Paris, 13.
Speaking on 'The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson' he said: "I have a big TV but I don't know how to use it. My kids know how to use it but I go away, I go to work, I come home and I forget the code thing."
Explaining that his film 'The November Man' is out on DVD and Blu-Ray now, the 61-year-old actor went on to admit that he doesn't actually know the difference between the two types of discs.
He added: "It's blue and it's beautiful and it's high definition?"
When told by Craig that he's looking good for his age, Pierce insisted it won't last long and claimed keeping fit and healthy was his main priority.
He said: "I do a bit of keep fit yeah, I get on the bike, I hike and I do the paddle boarding ... And I worry, stress, stress is always good."

Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux have reportedly set a date for their wedding.
The 45-year-old actress and 'The Leftovers' actor got engaged in August 2012 and have yet to announce when they are planning to hold their big day but are now said to have finalised their plans.
A source told the US OK! magazine: "It's really happening! Jen is excited beyond belief. She says it will be the best day of her life."
However, despite having decided on a date and venue, Jennifer - who was previously married to 'Fury' actor Brad Pitt - is said to be remaining tight-lipped about the nuptials.
The insider continued: "If you try asking, she'll change the subject to keep everybody guessing."
The couple - who met while starring alongside one another in 2012 film 'Wanderlust' - are said to have revealed, however, that they want to be a low-key affair.
The source added: "Neither of them wants a huge, glitzy wedding."
Meanwhile, 43-year-old Justin previously confessed he felt a lot of pressure from the public to marry his fiance of two years, but that he wasn't bothered by it.
He said at the time: "There is this hum of pressure that - I can't stress enough - I just don't pay any attention to ... We're just doing our own thing. We are completely happy, obviously, but we're not on anyone else's timeframe."

Gigi Hadid has denied rumours that she's dating Joe Jonas.
The 19-year-old model previously dated Joe's brother Nick Jonas and has more recently been linked to older sibling Joe but has now shut down the claims by insisting she's single.
The blonde beauty has laughed off suggestions that she is romantically involved with the 25-year-old singer, suggesting that everyone thinks she is in a relationship whenever she is spotted with a man.
Speaking at the Angel Ball in New York on Monday (20.10.14), she told the New York Post newspaper: "I think it's funny. I feel like every time I hang out with a guy friend, I'm dating him or I am in love or we are getting married, which is funny to me."
Nick - who is now dating former Miss USA, Olivia Culpo - was rumoured to have felt uncomfortable with the idea that his Jonas Brothers bandmate and family member was dating his former flame, as the couple had been together for an extensive period.
A source previously said: "Nick and Gigi dated several times in 2012 and 2013. It was an ongoing thing,
"The fact that Joe and Gigi are hanging out now is just strange."
However, Gigi is adamant she is single and would open up about any lover she may have, if she was seeing someone.
She added: "When I am in a relationship, I will tell everyone."

Mary J. Blige "felt a connection" to Amy Winehouse.
The 'No More Drama' hitmaker has confessed she felt drawn to the singer's life and music despite never meeting the late star before she passed away from alcohol poisoning in July 2011.
Mary, 43, hailed Amy a "rare" talent and admitted she had developed a deep respect for the singer before she died aged just 27.
In an interview with Stylist magazine, she said: "I never met Amy so I never got the chance to tell her how much I loved and respected her. I was really rooting for her and wished her well: I was a huge fan.
"I felt a connection to her lyrics and to her life. She spoke the truth from a place of, 'I need help but I'm also trying to enjoy my life.'
"She was just an amazing person and so honest lyrically. Those types of artists are rare. To come along and say something like, 'You tried to make me go to rehab' was unlike anything anyone else had sung about and that was real. I respected that."
The Grammy Award-winner - who has shared her own struggle with drink, drugs and depression in the past - also opened up about the moment she decided to turn her life around and beat her depression.
She explained: "I had to make a choice when things got bad. I suffered from depression. I didn't want to die, but I didn't want to live. I knew that if I hurt myself or killed myself, my mom and my family would suffer and I didn't want to leave. I have a conscience and I had to make a choice - and I chose life."

Jennifer Lopez is in talks over a $26.3 million deal to perform in Las Vegas.
The 45-year-old beauty has entered negotiations with bosses of The Axis, Planet Hollywood about receiving $350,000 per show as part of a 72-gig deal over a one or two-year period, according to gossip website TMZ.
The huge sum per performance is said to be even more than Britney Spears' $310,000 to play a show at the same venue.
But Britney is set to earn more than her fellow singer as she reportedly signed a deal to perform 96 gigs over two years, meaning she will earn $29.7 million overall.
However, neither Jennifer nor Britney can match Celine Dion's huge deal as the music legend - who is on an indefinite hiatus to care for her 72-year-old spouse René Angélil, who has throat cancer - earns an incredible $33.3 million for 70 shows a year.
Country couple Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton were recently said to have rejected a $1 million offer to at play three shows at Caesars Palace's The Colosseum in Sin City, and their reported counter offer of $1.25 million for the hat-trick of gigs, $416,000 for each show, was also turned down.
The money might come in handy for Jennifer after she splashed out $22 million on a plush four-bedroom pad in Manhattan recently, according to the New York Daily News.

Renée Zellweger is glad people are saying she looks different.
The 45-year-old actress has been the subject of plastic surgery accusations on social media sites after she stepped out looking almost unrecognisable at the ELLE Women in Hollywood Awards in Beverly Hills on Monday (20.10.14), but insists her latest look is down to her doing a much better job of taking care of herself.
Describing conversations about her appearance as "silly", she told PEOPLE magazine: "I'm glad folks think I look different! I'm living a different, happy, more fulfilling life, and I'm thrilled that perhaps it shows.
"My friends say that I look peaceful. I am healthy. For a long time I wasn't doing such a good job with that. I took on a schedule that is not realistically sustainable and didn't allow for taking care of myself."
The 'Bridget Jones' star has admitted she previously made "bad choices" in life when she felt "exhausted" and instead of stopping to rest and recuperate she just kept going, but she is now "happy" with her appearance.
She added: "Rather than stopping to recalibrate, I kept running until I was depleted and made bad choices about how to conceal the exhaustion.
"I was aware of the chaos and finally chose different things.
"People don't know me in my 40s. People don't know me [as] healthy for a while
"Perhaps I look different. Who doesn't as they get older? Ha. But I am different. I'm happy."
