Keira Knightley’s prom photo was banned

Keira Knightley and her female prom date were told their commemorative picture was "disgusting" because they kissed.
The 29-year-old actress - who is married to The Klaxons rocker James Righton - went to her final school dance with her friend and they were banned from having their photograph together displayed with those of other couples because teachers felt it was distasteful.
She recalled: "We had our picture taken underneath the thing, and she's kissing me, and we were told that that was disgusting.
"Our photograph wasn't allowed - you know when you get up and you collect all the photographs of prom and you buy whatever ones you want. Ours wasn't allowed to be displayed on that because it wasn't appropriate."
And the 'Laggies' actress and her friend were also reprimanded for their choice of outfits and warned they would be banned from attending future school events if they didn't learn to "dress appropriately".
She added to Vulture.com: "We both turned up an hour late, and I'd been filming 'Bend It Like Beckham', and I turned up in leather pants and a crop top, and she was a model for a while, and she'd been in Paris shooting something, and she turned up as the boy, so she had a black tie with ripped jeans on, and everybody else was completely dressed up, obviously, in that kind of finery.
"One of the teachers took us both aside and said we were never going to come to anything if we didn't know how to dress appropriately for events like that. So that was my prom. We had a great time!"

Ozzy Osbourne’s AA meetings with son Jack

Ozzy Osbourne goes to Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) meetings with his son.
The Black Sabbath rocker has struggled with alcohol and drug addiction for decades but has now been sober for 18 months while son Jack, 28, has been sober for 11 years after overcoming his demons.
Jack told The Sunday Times newspaper: "I'm proud to say that, today, we're both in active recovery and we even go to the same meetings. We share something not a lot of fathers and sons share.
"Sure, it drove us apart when I was sober and he wasn't, or he was sober and I wasn't ... [But] I can honestly say we are now the best of friends."
However, Jack - who was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis two years ago - is worried Ozzy could relapse.
He explained: "Yeah, I'm concerned for him, like any son would be for their dad. He's in great condition but he's 65 years old ... If dad can stay sober, all the insecurities that have clouded his life will cease to exist."
And although Ozzy has confessed he regrets not being more of a father figure to his children, Jack insists he wasn't all bad.
He added: "Dad, there is so much about being a father that I learnt from you. You made me fearless and I hope I can do the same for my kids. Don't feel guilty about the past. It's gone, but we're still here. Dad...It's OK."

Ronan Keating and Storm Uechtritz to try for baby?

Ronan Keating and Storm Uechtritz are considering trying for a baby.
The 37-year-old singer - who has three children, Jack, 15, Missy, 13, and nine-year-old Ali with his ex-wife Yvonne - and the Australian TV executive have already discussed having another child and the 32-year-old beauty has admitted it is a "possibility".
She said: "We've talked about having a baby and it is a possibility for us, yes.
"We'll see what the future holds."
Storm cannot quite believe how easy being a step-mother to Ronan's three children has been because she expected it to be a "really difficult" challenge in her life.
She added to HELLO! magazine: "It hasn't been difficult at all, I'll be honest.
"The kids are amazing, incredible little souls, all three of them, and they've just been so welcoming.
"I pinch myself all the time. This should be a really difficult situation let's be honest, it generally is - but it hasn't.
"It's just been incredible and it fills my heart with so much warmth because even though they are not my children, I get to spend my life with them and they fill me with so much laughter and happiness."
The couple spend a lot of time in Australia, with Ronan working on 'The X Factor' Down Under, but the pair are due to move to London soon and Storm revealed they are also going to set up home in Ronan's native Dublin next year.
She said: "It's going to be great to be in London closer to the children and then next March, we're planning to buy a house in Dublin to be even closer to them."

Shakira releasing toy line

Shakira is releasing her own range of toys.
The pregnant singer - who also has 21-month-old son Milan with boyfriend Gerard Pique - has teamed up with Fisher-Price on the First Steps collection of baby products, and has co-developed six items, including a bouncer which plays music, alphabet blocks and a musical soccer ball.
Shakira said in a statement: "I saw how important developmental milestones are and how toys can help babies reach them -- including with my own son.
"I wanted to design a line of toys that stimulated development in the crucial early stages of life, the stages in which learning can be achieved through supervised play, fostering the development of psychological, social and motor skills."
The items will go on sale next month and all proceeds will go towards Shakira's Barefoot Foundation, which helps provide education and nutrition to disadvantaged children in her native Colombia.
Geoff Walker, executive vice president of the Fisher-Price Global Brands Team, said the 'Hips Don't Lie' hitmaker had approached the company herself about collaborating and if the range is a success, they will be open to further celebrity lines in the future.
He said: "It's about finding an authentic mom that is relevant to the millennial crowd."
As part of the venture, Shakira will also star in a 12-part web series for the company, and some of the three to five minute-long episodes will feature her son.

Kanye West turned down Vegas deal

Kanye West turned down a $500,000-per-show deal for a Las Vegas residency.
The 'Stronger' hitmaker - who has 16-month-old daughter North with wife Kim Kardashian West - could have been the highest-earning entertainer in the gambling capital, but shunned an approach by The Axis at Planet Hollywood, who offered him a huge deal for just nine days work.
According to TMZ, the venue wanted Kanye to perform three shows a week for three weeks but he turned them down, though it is not clear why.
The staggering offer would have put him ahead of Vegas' current top earners, Celine Dion, who earns $476,000 per show, Britney Spears, who is believed to make slightly less with $475,000 and Jennifer Lopez, who has just been offered a $350,000-per-gig contract with The Axis.
If Kanye had agreed the deal, one person who would have been in the audience is his daughter as Kim recently revealed the youngster is a fan of the 'Bound 2' star's music.
She said: "I put on these lullabies for her. I put on pop music, Kanye's music. I have a whole iPod with everything all set up for her.
"Every day, from when we wake up, there's music on. When we're playing, when we go on our walk, every day there's music on. I have a little Beats speaker, so we listen to music loud on our walks."

Taylor Swift wants travel over romance

Taylor Swift would rather travel the world than embark on another "trivial dating adventure".
The 24-year-old star has admitted she isn't bothered about settling down in the near future, following failed romances with Harry Styles, John Mayer and Jake Gyllenhaal, and she has now set her sights on seeing plenty of the globe before she finally meets Mr. Right.
The blonde beauty - who completed her 86-date 'Red' world tour in June, which saw her visit Indonesia, Singapore and Australia among several other countries - said: "I want to work hard. I want to make music I'm proud of. I want to travel the world. I want to have adventures. I want to be the best friend I can be. And I think sometimes your priorities change.
"I have so much love in my life without having a love affair in my life.
"I think it's important to find romance and magic in your life without there being a relationship that constitutes that.
"You can define your life and you can create all the things you thought you wanted in a relationship out of a relationship.
"Things like happiness and spontaneity and excitement. All of that doesn't have to be tied to the idea of a relationship.
"I'm at the place in my life where I'm 24, I'm not really willing to compromise my happiness for some trivial dating adventure.
"I don't see that as something I'm interested in right now."
The 'Out of the Woods' hitmaker - who has just released her fifth studio album, '1989' - has admitted she is enjoying spending time with her famous friends, who include Lena Dunham, Ed Sheeran and Lorde, who has inspired her to wear black nail varnish.
Taylor added to The Sun newspaper: "She's introduced me to bands I wouldn't have known about and I now wear black nail polish.
"She will rock a dress now and has baked things since knowing me."
Despite being seven years older than the 17-year-old singer/songwriter the pair have forged a good friendship, and Taylor admits she would've loved to have had someone like herself to help her out when she was coming up through the music industry ranks.
She explained: "It would have been nice to have someone who was older to be friends with."

J.B. Gill’s school search for son

J.B. Gill has been scouring prospectuses of prestigious schools for his one-month-old son to go to.
The singer-turned-farmer and his wife Chloe welcomed their first child, Ace, into the world last month and as well as already eyeing up potential education establishments for his child, the 27-year-old star is hoping the little one will excel at gymnastics and feeding pigs on their farm when he is older.
J.B. said: "The name Ace means 'one who excels' and I want him to be the best he can be in as many things as possible.
"There's already so much I'm looking forward to doing with him, like taking him horse riding and out on the farm feeding the pigs.
"I want him to try gymnastics, running, rugby, football, skiing - all the things we've been fortunate to experience.
"There's so much out there to learn about and I can't wait to show him."
As well as showing Ace his ever-expanding drift of pigs, which J.B. plans to increase to 500 in the near future, the ex-JLS star has already got a job lined up for the youngster - helping to muck out his porkers and picking fresh eggs when his chickens lay them on his farmland in Kent, south east England.
He added to HELLO! magazine: "I'm looking to build up the number of pigs to 25 breeding sows and 500 pigs by the end of next year.
"What I'm really excited about is when Ace is old enough to enjoy the farm, too.
"I can't wait to get him his first pair of willies and get him mucking out the pigs with me.
"We'll send him down to pick fresh eggs for breakfast. It's such a lovely life for a kid here.
"There's so much for him to learn and experience and I can't wait to be part of that - me and my boy."
The full interview with J.B. and Chloe is in this week's HELLO! magazine, out now.

Victoria Beckham named most successful

Victoria Beckham has been named Britain's most successful entrepreneur.
The 40-year-old singer-turned-fashion designer has topped a list of over 100 business people after seeing her fashion empire's turnover rise from £1 million to a staggering £30 million in just five years, with her staff growing from three employees to 100.
Andrew Saunders of Management Today magazine, who compiled the list based on the last five years, told The Daily Telegraph newspaper: "She's got a real business, some design talent and some business nous. She gets a lot of stick for being a celeb fashionista but I don't think that's fair.
"She has built something real out of her own celebrity which is quite a contemporary story. She deserves to be celebrated."
Victoria - who has children Brooklyn, 15, Romeo, 12, Cruz, nine, and Harper, three, with husband David Beckham - launched her eponymous label in 2008 and opened her first stand-alone boutique in London last month.
According to Management Today, she now has a personal fortune of a staggering £210 million, which also helped push her towards the top spot.
The magazine considered factors such as number of jobs created, overall estimated wealth and sales figures over a five-year period in compiling the list.
Amit & Meeta Patel, founders of pharmaceutical group Auden Mckenzie, and Mahmud Kamani of Boohoo.com took second and third place in the list.

Robin Williams’ baseball honour

Robin Williams was honoured by the San Francisco Giants last night (26.10.14).
The late 'Mrs Doubtfire' star was a huge fan of the baseball team so ahead of their World Series game against Kansas City Royals yesterday, his children Zak, Zelda and Cody - who all wore team jerseys with their surnames on the back - and close friend Billy Crystal were invited out onto the AT&T Park playing area.
Zak threw the first pitch to Billy, who stood at the home plate, and a visual montage of Robin's movies interspersed with pictures of him and Giants stars was shown on the big screens in the stadium.
His kids said in a statement: "We are honoured to be here in tribute to our father, someone who loved his hometown and especially the Giants.
"For all of us, it is a tremendous delight and a little surreal to throw out the ceremonial first pitch of a World Series game for our team to our dad's best friend. We could not think of a better way to celebrate his memory. Let's go Giants!"
And Billy later told fans he had had a "great night" at the game.
He tweeted: "Great nite at WS in SF. Caught first pitch strike thrown by Zak Williams Robins son.Fans showered him with love. (sic)"
The Giants went on to win the game 11-4.
Robin was found dead in an apparent suicide in August, aged 63.
