Chloe Grace Moretz: I’m a geek

Chloe Grace Moretz is a "geek" when she's at home.
The 17-year-old actress - who can be seen playing a prostitute alongside Denzel Washington in new action thriller film 'The Equalizer' - insists she lives a pretty normal life away from the cameras and likes to be at home indulging in her counter culture hobbies.
She said: "I'm a bit of a geek in real life, but I'm very driven when it comes to my work.
"I'm not the kind of person who's going to do anything crazy and my mom makes sure I stay grounded."
Chloe is not into partying and is happiest when she's at home with her family, mother Teri, father McCoy and older brothers, Brandon, Trevor, Colin and Ethan.
Speaking in the new issue of Loaded magazine, she revealed: "I'm not a party person or someone who needs to lead a wilder life. I have a very solid family and some very good friends. My mother and brother Trevor are very supportive of me and I always know they're kind of watching over me."
Although Chloe - who is currently romantically linked to Brooklyn Beckham - isn't interested in going out all the time, she does love travelling and enjoys all the trips she gets to make away America for her career.
She said: "I do get to party but I don't have any desire to go overboard. I'm a very normal girl except for the kind of job I have. I want to be with good people and enjoy all the advantages I have to travel and lead an interesting life. The only really crazy things I get to do is go to a festival like Cannes. It's fun to go on the red carpet and make silly poses."

Katie Price wants Sam Bailey as wedding singer

Katie Price wants Sam Bailey to sing when at her wedding renewal.
The 36-year-old star has become friends with last year's 'X Factor' winner after filming 'Family Fortunes' together, and while she isn't holding out for a duet with the 37-year-old singer, she would love Sam to play when she renews her wedding vows with cheating husband Kieran Hayler later this year.
When asked if she would like to do a duet with her, she replied: "In my dreams! I could always ask her to come to mine and Kieran's renewals and sing. She does all those gorgeous power ballads."
Katie - who has two children with Kieran, two-month-old daughter Bunny, and son Jett, 14 months - admits she got on really well with Sam when she met her and was particularly interested in her former job as a prison guard before she shot to fame on the talent show.
She told Now magazine: "Sam's so nice. We filmed episodes of 'Family Fortunes' and were in the green room with our babies. She's normal, down to earth and grounded. I was talking to her about her job as a prison guard."
While details of Katie and Kieran's wedding renewals are being kept under wraps, the star admits the couple do not want to have a big event.
She added: "Before the new year. We're just going to have family and close friends, not every Tom, Dick and Harry.
"A small event with people who've supported us this year. I don't want it too big and to stress about who's on what table."
Katie threatened to divorce Kieran earlier this year after discovering he had cheated on her with two of her friends but she later took him back and he underwent therapy to treat sex addiction.
Katie also has son Harvey, 12, from her past relationship with Dwight Yorke and son Junior, nine, and daughter Princess, seven, from her marriage to Peter Andre.

Joan Rivers’ daughter hires top law firm

Joan Rivers' daughter Melissa Rivers is preparing to file a medical malpractice and wrongful death lawsuit.
The TV producer, who was devastated when the 81-year-old comedienne died from "predictable" surgical complications while undergoing a minor operation on her vocal cords last month, has reportedly hired top US law firm Gair, Gair, Conason, Steigman, Mackauf, Bloom & Rubinowitz to represent her in a multi-million dollar court battle against the Yorkville Endoscopy Clinic in Manhattan, New York City and the doctors that treated Joan there before her death on September 4.
A source close to the 46-year-old star, who inherited $100 million from the late 'Fashion Police' host, told gossip website TMZ.com that she retained the firm on Tuesday (28.10.14), but the suit won't be filed for another month to give her lawyers time to gather phone logs, medical records and other documents.
Her legal team also sent letters to various people involved in the fatal medical procedure on Tuesday, asking them not to destroy any records relating to Joan's treatment.
The New York City Medical Examiner's Office recently released a statement confirming that Joan's brain had been starved of oxygen after she suffered cardiac and respiratory arrest on the operating table.
Following the news, Melissa wrote on Twitter: "In response to NYC's Medical examiner's report, we continue to be saddened by our tragic loss. No further comment at this time."

Khloé Kardashian still talks to French Montana

Khloé Kardashian says there is "no bad blood" between her and French Montana.
The 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' star, who split from the 29-year-old rapper last month after six months of dating, insists she doesn't mind that he will feature regularly on her upcoming reality TV series, 'Kourtney & Khloé Take the Hamptons,' which was filmed over the summer.
Asked whether it'll be weird seeing their romance play out on the show, the 30-year-old star told UsMagazine.com: "It doesn't bother me at all. I think it's cute.
"I love memories...and I still talk to him. There's no bad blood or anything."
She added: "I think it's cool, and I like that people get to see a part of our relationship. I think people are so quick to judge...and I don't think it's fair to judge people by appearance or what you think you know about them."
The brunette beauty, who filed for divorce from her estranged husband Lamar Odom in December, admits the 'Don't Panic' hitmaker planned a lot of romantic activities for them when they were together.
She said: "We went to South Africa in the first episode. I had so much fun, and I really love how...we were only there for like 48 hours, but he planned so many things. I might be like, 'Ah, I need some time to let my jet lag kick in.' I like that he pushes me to do things that I probably wouldn't do."
A source close to Khloé previously revealed she dumped French because he became too "needy."
The insider said: "The relationship got too heavy and Khloé needed to take a step back."
Another insider added: "It grated on her that he became so dependent on her."

Kris Jenner is getting to know manager slowly

Kris Jenner is getting to know Justin Bieber's road manager slowly.
The 58-year-old reality TV star, who split from Bruce Jenner last October after 23 years of marriage, has reportedly told friends she "hasn't gotten physical" with Corey Gamble since being introduced to him by the 20-year-old singer's manager Scooter Braun.
The rumoured new couple were spotted leaving a sushi restaurant in Malibu, California on Monday night (27.10.14), but sources close to the 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' star told gossip website TMZ.com that they are just getting to know each other.
The duo also watched Kris' son-in-law, Kanye West, perform at the Life is Beautiful music festival in Las Vegas last Friday (24.10.14) before celebrating her daughter Kim Kardashian West's 34th birthday at Tao Las Vegas.
Another source recently told PEOPLE.com: "He seems very nice. He's easy to be around. But honestly, they weren't overly affectionate or anything."
News of the Kardashian family matriarch's new beau comes just weeks after it was revealed her estranged husband Bruce, 64, is dating her best friend and former assistant, Ronda Kamihira.
The insider added: "Since Bruce is out [with Ronda], she's trying to just have fun and hang with friends. But I wouldn't exactly call this dating yet."

Kevin Spacey leads tributes to late co-star Elizabeth Norment

Kevin Spacey has led tributes to Elizabeth Norment.
The 'House of Cards' star shared his sorrow on Twitter shortly after it emerged the 61-year-old actress, who played his loyal secretary Nancy Kaufberger on the Netflix series, passed away at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Centre in New York on October 13.
The 55-year-old Oscar winner tweeted: "RIP Elizabeth Norment. We all loved her and she leaves a void in all of us here at HoC's (sic)."
Elizabeth's sister Kate confirmed the news of her death to The Hollywood Reporter on Tuesday (28.10.14).
In a statement the political drama's creator Beau Willimon also expressed his grief, saying: "Everyone at 'House of Cards' is deeply saddened by Elizabeth's passing. She was a talented actress, a warm soul and a good friend to us all."
Executives at the show's production company, MRC, added: "Elizabeth Norment was a talented actress with a beautiful spirit who touched the entire 'House of Cards' family."
The late actress, who was born in Washington DC and studied at Yale university, also appeared in a number of other well-known TV shows, including 'Party of Five,' 'Blue Bloods,' 'Law and Order' and 'ER,' as well as films such as 'Runaway' and 'The Woman in Red'.

Olivia Wilde’s family is ‘everything’

Olivia Wilde says her "family is everything."
The 'Drinking Buddies' star, who has a six-month-old son, Otis, with fiancé Jason Sudeikis, 39, credits her little boy for inspiring her to stand up for what she believes in.
The 30-year-old actress said: "Family is everything. I've always felt that way, but having a baby this year really drove that truism home."
Speaking out in support of Proposition 47, a California voter initiative seeking to reduce penalty time for certain crimes, she told E! News: "Being a mother has reinforced and refined my thinking on many issues, including - believe it or not - our criminal justice system."
The brunette beauty says her own parents also "instilled, since I was a child, a commitment to critical thinking. Don't believe what you hear; explore and analyse what you encounter to
determine your own truth. This family trait has led me to not only think deeply about societal issues but also to act."
She added: "Having my son has only increased my desire to do so."
Olivia recently admitted she has no plans to marry Jason, as they are already "fully committed" to each other.
She said: "In many ways, a child is more of a commitment. We are fully committed and really happy as a family. And there's no definition of the 'normal family' anymore. Kids today are growing up with so many different definitions of family. I guess what I'm saying is that I don't feel any pressure to do it. But I think it will be really fun."

A$AP Rocky and Chanel Iman split

A$AP Rocky and Chanel Iman have reportedly ended their engagement.
The 26-year-old rapper, who secretly proposed to the Victoria's Secret model in April after less than a year of dating, recently split from the 23-year-old beauty, as they struggled to find time to see each other.
A source told E! News: "They are no longer together. This happened about a few weeks ago.
"It was just not working out with both of their busy travel schedules. Time away from each other played a big part in the breakup."
The insider added: "They don't have any hard feelings. [They] only want the best for each other in the long run."
A$AP is currently in London as part of his European tour.
The 'Goldie' hitmaker, real name Rakim Mayers, previously dated fellow rapper Iggy Azalea and she previously confessed that their relationship ended badly.
She said at the time: "I definitely hated his guts and he hated my guts for a few months. It was a legit 'F**k you!' 'F**k you!' Peace out."
But the 'Black Widow' hitmaker - who had the tattoo of his name on her finger crossed out - insisted they still respect each other.
She said: "I don't call him up and have conversations and I wouldn't say Rocky is my friend, but there are times I've congratulated him on things he's achieved and he occasionally congratulates me on s**t that he's proud of ... We're cordial and I respect him, but there's a separation."

Jessica Paré is expecting her first child

Jessica Paré is expecting her first child.
The 'Mad Men' actress and her musician boyfriend John Kastner, who has a seven-year-old daughter, Summer Lee, from a previous marriage, will welcome a baby into the world next year.
A spokesperson for the 33-year-old Canadian star confirmed the news to UsMagazine.com.
The couple, who started dating in 2012, are notoriously tight-lipped about their relationship, but have attended several red carpet events together in the past.
The brunette beauty was previously married to actor Joseph M. Smith for three years until 2010.
Jessica previously admitted landing the part of Megan Draper on the AMC series, which came to an end earlier this year, completely changed her life.
She said: "Everything changed. Like, I was able to pay rent. And I had this old car. The engine had rusted though and the wheels were going to fall off. It was really bad..."
She added: "It's been such a big part of my life. Before I got the role I was having a hard time getting work and just in life, so it's been such a ride.
"It's a dream job for an actor. It's so well written and they are an amazing group of people to work with. We're very tight. We genuinely enjoy each other's company."
