Hugh Jackman in stage accident

Hugh Jackman accidentally cut himself with a knife on stage last night (05.11.14).
The 'Wolverine' actor was left bleeding during a preview performance of his Broadway show 'The River' - in which he plays a fisherman - when he sliced himself during a quiet scene where he cleans and guts a fish.
Despite the incident, the performance continued and his spokesperson told the New York Daily News newspaper afterwards that he didn't require stitches and had been able to sign autographs for fans after the show.
Ahead of the production starting, the 46-year-old actor had previously admitted he was worried about accidentally injuring himself on stage at Circle in the Square Theatre during that scene.
He said: "If I cut myself and start bleeding all over the place it Because he plays a fisherman in the play, Hugh - who has children Oscar, 14, and Ava, nine, with wife Deborra-Lee Furness - has been practicing cooking fish at home.
He said: "I had four fish delivered recently, and they turned out really good.
"It had been such a long time since I had cooked on my own in the kitchen. But at 46, it feels good to be trying new things, even if it's gutting trout."

Sheamus wants Spider-Man role

WWE Superstar Sheamus wants to play Venom in the an 'Amazing Spider-Man' film.
The 36-year-old star has been inspired to launch a film career by his fellow grappler Dave Batista's performance as Drax the Destroyer in Marvel movie 'The Guardians of the Galaxy'.
As a massive fan of the Spider-Man comics when he was a kid, Sheamus admits his dream role would be to play the villainous Symbiote alien opposite Andrew Garfield as the web-slinger on the big screen.
He exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "I watched 'Guardians of the Galaxy' and I thought Dave Batista did a great job, and Bradley Cooper was great as Rocket.
"I always read comic books as a kid, I always remember Eddie Brock, who was Venom in the Spider-Man comics, he was kind of a red head. I'd love to play the role of Venom and Eddie Brock - Venom was one of my favourite characters ... It would be a dream come true for me to star in the next 'Amazing Spider-Man' film as Venom."
Sheamus has already had a few minor film roles, including playing a bare-knuckle fighter in 'The Escapist', and he thinks he definitely has something to offer Hollywood.
The in-ring performer - who is currently in Britain on the WWE UK Tour - said: "I definitely think there's a market for me to be in movies, because of what I've done in WWE. I'm recognisable - even if I'm out wearing a hat people always know I'm Sheamus from WWE. I do look distinctive with my red hair and I stand out a lot and I definitely would like to bring that to the movies ... I like actors like Michael Fassbender, I think he's brilliant. I think Hugh Jackman is great too - look at the way he took the role of Wolverine and made it his. Robert Downey Jr. I'm a big fan of as well. It would honour to work with any of those guys."
Sheamus is joined on the WWE UK Tour by John Superstars such as John Cena, Big Show and Seth Rollins and they will be in Britain until November 13. Information and tickets are available at Bookingsdirect.com.

Demi Lovato wants to do good

Demi Lovato would rather be a role model than "vain".
The 'Skyscraper' hitmaker - who checked into rehab in 2010 over a number of issues, including self-harm and an eating disorder - can understand why some people "shy" away from setting an example to their young fans but she has now embraced the fact people look up to her because she wants to do good with her career.
She said: "I really embraced the whole role model thing, because when I was younger I realised that shying away from it and denying that I was gonna be a role model only made me resent the fact that people were putting boundaries on me of things I can and cannot do.
" I think that's why a lot of people shy from it, rightfully so. People sometimes just want to live their lives.
"At that moment, I knew I was doing a lot of things that weren't right and weren't role model-like until the day that I saw everything in the bigger picture where my voice - if you live your whole career just singing and just taking pictures and just living in front of everyone, if you don't use your voice for good, it's actually a very vain career, a narcissistic career.
"I want to use my voice for good and I know that I can do a lot other than singing. And that's what I want to do. That's what I want to show people."
Demi, 22, thinks it is important to be "honest" with her fans and not hide her "vulnerable" side.
She added to 'Access Hollywood': "I think it's important for people to realise that celebrities are human beings and that nobody has it easy just because they are a celebrity and people that you think are flawless are actually flawed themselves, sometimes more than you are.
"I love being open and honest and vulnerable with people, because it's just a part of who I am."

Jennifer Lopez: Marc Anthony learned from book

Marc Anthony was stunned by Jennifer Lopez's autobiography.
The 'On the Floor' hitmaker opens up about her personal life in new memoir 'True Love' and her former husband - with who she has six-year-old twins Max and Emme - was shocked by some of her thoughts and feelings about their relationship when he read an early draft of the tome.
Jennifer admitted: "He read it and was like 'Whoa, I didn't know all of this was going on'... and I was like, 'I'm happy that you learned something, that you grew.' "
The 45-year-old singer has been single since splitting from Casper Smart in June and is enjoying having time to look after herself.
She said: "There was something in my [previous] relationships that wasn't lining up... the missing component was me loving myself and being able to take care of myself... they always say put on the oxygen mask first, right? But it's true... you have to love yourself.
"I'm not dating right now. I just decided I was taking some time to be on my own. And be my own best friend."
And the brunette beauty admits she will be a lot more "cautious" in her next relationship, and though she is happy to be single at the moment, she has a list of qualities which she is looking for in a partner.
Speaking to 'Extra', she said: "I will go slower [in my next relationship]. I think I'll be a lot more cautious...
"[My ideal man] behaves very good, he's super faithful, he's super sweet. He's funny... he doesn't have to be [famous] at all."

Pamela Anderson made life changes after dog death

Pamela Anderson started "being there" for her children more after her dog died.
The 47-year-old actress - who has sons, Brandon, 18, and 17-year-old Dylan with ex-husband Tommy Lee - was left devastated when her pet pooch Jo passed away in September, but the loss of her canine is said to have helped her make changes in her life for the better.
A family friend said: "Jo had health problems and when Pam watched him pass away it made her realise how short and fragile life is.
"After losing him, she began to change things in her own life because she wants to be there for her children.
"Pamela doesn't ever want them to feel the way that she felt when she lost Jo."
The former 'Baywatch' babe - who performed a U-turn on her decision to divorce husband Rick Salomon in August - was said be particularly distraught about losing her four-legged friend because she considered the pet to be part of the family.
A close friend of the star - who is a keen supporter of non-profit organisation PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) - added to RadarOnline: "It was not Rick who straightened Pamela out this time around.
"It was the death of her dog Jo, who she adopted in 2007 shortly after the death of Star, her golden retriever that she had for nearly 17 years.
"Pamela considered Jo to be a part of her family."
In September, the blonde star took to her Facebook page to confirm her dog had passed away, but she didn't give any specific details about the pooch's passing.
She wrote: "Our sweet Jo passed away today... He still feels close... even closer somehow.. (sic)"

Rochelle Humes: Eating is cheating at Christmas parties

Rochelle Humes thinks "eating is cheating" at Christmas parties.
The Saturdays singer has admitted she isn't worried about what she is going to eat when she lets loose over the festive period, but the brunette beauty is looking forward to drinking plenty of Porn Star Martinis - made with vodka, passion fruit and a shot champagne - at forthcoming merry bashes.
She exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "Eating is cheating at a Christmas drinks party. My favourite drink at parties is a Porn Star Martini. Passion fruit with a shot of champagne. They're amazing."
The 25-year-old star - who has 17-month-old daughter Alaia-Mai with husband Marvin Humes - admits her The Saturdays band mates, Frankie Bridge, Mollie King, Vanessa White and Una Foden, always make the perfect party guests because they are not afraid to have a great time.
When asked who she would invite to a festive bash, she replied: "Anyone that's going let their hair down really. The Saturdays, we like to party that's for sure. The Sats are good party guests.
"Obviously, Una would have to take it easy at the moment as obviously she's with child."
Rochelle is to host Very's Christmas Crib, a festive party, on December 4 and to get into the spirit of the upcoming event the star was joined some pink baubles as she posed for pictures in a giant Martini glass.
She added: "I had to get in a giant Martini glass, which was not as easy as it looks! I had to get coaxed in up a stepladder it was like a permanent sit up because I couldn't lean back.
"But the pictures look glamorous so I'm not sure how that happened. Great photography."
Rochelle will be hosting Very's Christmas Crib, a socially crowd-sourced Christmas party on December 4th 2014. To help style the crib visit www.very.co.uk/christmascrib for your chance to win a stay in London & attend the VIP party with Rochelle.

Amanda Bynes to get conservator change

Amanda Bynes' parents are to give up conservatorship of the actress.
The troubled actress' welfare and finances were put in the control of her mother Lynn Bynes last week, but now she and her husband Rick Bynes are to file legal documents to hand her care over to someone else ahead of their planned move to Texas.
According to TMZ, Amanda's welfare will be in the hands of a mental health professional who specialises in handling people with "severe mental illnesses", while financial matters will be handled by someone else.
Lynn and Rick - who are relocating from California to be close to their other daughter - are said to hope that transferring the conservatorship will stop the 'Easy A' star from lashing out at them and help repair their relationship with her.
Amanda's conservatorship attorney David Esquibias hasn't commented on the personal aspect changing, but did reveal her financial affairs are to be put in the charge of an unnamed private trust firm, in order to make them more accessible to the actress, noting the 28-year-old star currently has no stable home or the means to rent an apartment.
He told 'Access Hollywood': "My goal is to get her permanent adequate housing."
While the next scheduled conservatorship hearing isn't due to take place until February 2015, it is hoped the matter will be resolved by the end of this week.
The news comes after Amanda - who was recently released from a psychiatric treatment facility in Pasadena, California after being involuntarily committed for the second time on October 10 -hit out on Twitter and expressed her desire to have a new conservator.
She wrote: "I'm so mad at my parents
"They are with holding my belongings and money from me so I don't have new clothes or enough money to rent an apartment
"We aren't speaking
"So until I get a different conservator ill look terrible because I don't have enough to get new clothes or anything I need (sic)"

Josh Hutcherson craving human flesh

Josh Hutcherson wants to eat human flesh.
The 22-year-old actor has admitted he would love to chow down on another human being if it wasn't such a taboo, but only if the person he was going to eat hadn't been killed to specifically feed his cannibalism cravings.
He said: "I don't want somebody to die for me to eat them.
"However, if someone happened to die from natural causes and it was not so taboo ... I'm curious.
"I want to know what it tastes like. Like you want to know what a pigeon tastes like, you know, except it's a human. We're all animals."
While he is keen to get his teeth into another human, his 'Hunger Games' co-star Jennifer Lawrence looks to be safe as Josh - whose character Peeta Mellark is romantically involved with Jennifer's alter-ego Katniss Everdeen in the franchise - admits he has never been sexually attracted to the 24-year-old beauty.
He added to GQ magazine: "If we were at all sexually attracted to each other, it would be the most intense relationship in the world.
"But there's never been an ounce of that between us. It's been brother and sister from the beginning."
Josh leapt to Jennifer's defence in September when he hit out at hackers who had leaked nude photos of the stunner online.
He said: "I just think all that stuff is so ridiculous.
"We're people to, man, we just want to live, we want to be normal people, it's not fair."

Britney Spears honoured in Las Vegas

Britney Spears was presented with the Key to the City of Las Vegas' Strip yesterday (05.11.14).
The 'Piece of Me' hitmaker was honoured by Clark County Commission Chairman Steve Sisolak, who officially proclaimed the day to be 'Britney Day' and a host of other festivities took place in the city to mark the occasion.
A group of showgirls from Jubilee at Bally's Las Vegas performed a Britney-inspired routine to her hit 'Toxic' on the LINQ Promenade Fountain stage before stepping back and revealing the pop superstar with their iconic feathered fans at the end of the performance.
And the 32-year-old singer celebrated with hundreds of her namesakes as fans with any spelling variations of her name were invited to her show at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino - where she is almost a year into her concert residency - where they also received a special commemorative t-shirt, a complimentary ride on the High Roller and access to a special area to watch the concert.
The 'Womanizer' hitmaker also used the occasion to announce 36 extra performances of her Las Vegas show and reveal a partnership with Zappos and the Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation (NCCF), where $1 of every ticket purchased to her residency will be donated to the charity.
She said: "I am so proud to join forces with the Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation and support children and their families in need in my second home of Las Vegas, Nevada."
