Lorde: Jennifer Lawrence is ‘cute’

Lorde thinks Jennifer Lawrence is "cute".
The 'Royals' hitmaker - who recorded songs for the 'Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1' soundtrack - has revealed that the 'American Hustle' star was "very excited" she had joined them on set.
When asked how Jennifer was on set, the 18-year-old singer tweeted: "Haha she was so cute, very excited that i was there!
"She kept running over between takes to chat/we double fangirled. i luv jen [sic]."
Lorde also admitted that she cried whilst watching the latest film in the 'Hunger Games' series.
When asked by a fan if she shed a tear during the film, she tweeted back: "Yes. and i also remember my fist going into the air.....
"By far the most emotional of the 3 films. it really is a masterpiece [sic]."
Meanwhile, Jennifer recently admitted that she "fangirled" when Lorde arrived on the film's set.
She said: "I completely fanned out. 'Is she here? Is she here? Is she here? She's here? Cool. Got a picture with her.
"It was a huge deal. Everybody goes quiet while at the same time tries to be cool."
Jennifer's co-stars, Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson, also revealed that the 24-year-old actress couldn't stop "screaming" and was "the most excited person there".

Jennifer Aniston ‘flattered’ by Oscar buzz

Jennifer Aniston is "flattered" by the Oscar buzz she is receiving.
The 45-year-old actress - who plays a mourner with chronic pain in 'Cake' - has revealed she is shocked that her part in the drama film has got people talking about her possibly being nominated for an Oscar award.
The actress also admitted that her reaction to the award nomination buzz was in an "awkwardly and stutteringly" manner.
Speaking about the role, she added: "It ticked all the boxes that an actor dreams of.
"It was just a wonderfully beautiful story of a woman in extraordinary pain, living through an unthinkable trauma.
"I also found her quite humorous and quite endearing. You have empathy for the character."
The 'Friends' star also revealed that she enjoyed the challenges of the role and found that the film helped her to break away from her usual roles.
She told PEOPLE.com: "That was a challenge for me. How do we tell this story without having everyone hate her?
"I actually loved her. But the movie has a beautiful way of unfolding itself without giving the story away and allowing the audience to go with the journey as it's being told."
Despite not having yet won an Oscar, Jennifer has been awarded an Emmy, a Golden Globe and two MTV Movie Awards amongst others.

Mary J. Blige’s husband is not allowed female friends

Mary J. Blige doesn't allow her husband to have female friends.
The 'No More Drama' hitmaker has been married to her manager Kendu Isaacs since 2003, and they have a pact where they agree not to have pals of the opposite sex as she doesn't believe it can "work" in a marriage.
In an interview with Stella magazine, she revealed: "All females for me, all guys for him. There's none of that, 'Oh, that's my female friend Oh, that's my guy friend.' No, not in a marriage, I've never seen that work."
Mary is stepmother to Kendu's children, Briana, 18, Jordan, 16, and Nas, 15, from a previous relationship and although she has never had a child of her own with Kendu she considers his "special kids" as her own children.
The 43-year-old singer said: "I was never sitting around think, 'Oh God, I want a baby. No.' And then these very special kids came along and it was like they were tailor made for me to be their stepmom.
"I've known the younger two since they were babies, so they really are my family.
"Being a single person and an artist, there's a lot of selfishness that you don't even know you have. Being a wife, it's not all about me."

Anjelica Huston talks alleged Ryan O’Neal abuse

Anjelica Huston decided to leave Ryan O'Neal after he allegedly beat her because she listened to advice from her 13-year-old half-sister.
The 63-year-old actress has revealed she turned to her younger sibling Allegra because she felt she had nobody else in the world to talk to after she leaving then-partner Jack Nicholson, 77, for the 73-year-old actor, who she claims used to hit her.
Recalling an incident in the late 1970s when Ryan allegedly struck her, she said: "He turned on me, grabbed me by the hair, and hit me in the forehead with the top of his skull.
"I saw stars and reeled back, half blind, I ran away from him, upstairs to a bathroom."
She then explained Ryan turned up at the bathroom with a security guard and she allowed him to enter the room.
She added: "No sooner had I complied than Ryan was in the bathroom, batting me about the head with open hands. Then, abruptly, he left. I realised I had no one to turn to.
"I had given up my friends when I was with Ryan; they were too close to Jack, and I didn't want them to know what was going on.
"The next morning, with Allegra in the passenger seat of my car, driving on the Pacific Coast Highway, I asked her, sobbing, 'What shall I do, Allegra? What can I do?' She looked over at me cooly. She was 13 years old. 'Leave him,' she replied."
The 'Addams Family' star admits she later "regretted" leaving Jack - who she lived with on and off from 1973 to 1990 - for Ryan in the late 1970s because she "hated causing him pain", and on reflection she thinks her decision was "ridiculous".
Recalling the moment she told Jack she was leaving him, in an extract from her book 'Watch Me', printed in The Times newspaper, she added: "Jack's reaction was not to criticise or attack me. He was by turns confident and horrified; this event was sudden and surprising to him.
"For me, too. It came totally out of left field. I had no idea such a thing might occur. In truth, I found it quite ridiculous. How could this have happened?"
Following her affair with Ryan, Anjelica went back to Jack and he bought her a cottage close to his home on Mulholland Drive in southern California.
Anjelica went on to marry sculptor Robert Graham in 1992 and lived with him until his death in December 2008.

Scott Disick feared death after partying hard

Scott Disick was convinced he was going to die when he nearly overdosed on drink and pills in June.
The 31-year-old reality star was rushed to a hospital in The Hamptons in the summer after partying "all night long" and then taking nearly an entire bottle of sleeping pills, and he even confessed to his long-time girlfriend Kourtney Kardashian at the time that he feared he was going to meet his maker.
Speaking the day after the incident on 'Kourtney & Khloe Take The Hamptons', Scott - who has children, Mason, four, and two-year-old Penelope, with the 35-year-old beauty - explained: "I was just scared - my heart was racing, and at the same time the sleeping pills were kicking in and pulling my heart down.
"I just thought that that was gonna be my time."
Following the near-death experience, Scott admitted he needed to do something about his partying antics to avoid a repeat performance.
He said: "It's no secret that over the years I've suffered from drinking problems, and now I'm very depressed with everything I've gone through in the past year.
"I'm thinking I need to make a change and that may be checking in to a facility.
"I just know that if I don't do something now I may never be able to get the life back that I want."
As a result, Kourtney - who his pregnant with their third child - tried to convince Scott to enter rehab to help him sort out his issues.
She said: "This has never happened before, where Scott said he needed to go to the emergency room.
"I don't think he's probably ever taken these morning sleeping pills after drinking.
"My biggest fear is if he continues on this road and I don't know where that could lead."
However, Scott wasn't too keen about going to rehab and in a phone call between the couple broadcast on 'Kourtney & Khloe Take The Hamptons', he is seen telling her: "30 days away from the kids just freaks me out."
But Kourtney fires back: "You're either going to be away for a month - or be away from them forever."

Tinie Tempah joins anti-bullying campaign

Tinie Tempah has joined an anti-bullying initiative following a childhood incident.
The 26-year-old rapper stood up for one of his pal's who was being bullied at school and as a result such incidents have remained close to his heart, so he has teamed up with Cartoon Network and Childline to launch a new campaign, 'CN Buddy Network: Be A Buddy Not A Bully'.
He said: "I'm really pleased to be working with Cartoon Network to encourage kids to take a stand against bullying.
"This is a very real issue that affects kids of all ages across the UK every single day. I saw it happening when I was at school and by being there for the kid who was being picked on, I helped him see that he wasn't alone.
"Even if I only helped in some small way, I'm glad I did it. It's so important that kids understand that bullying is never acceptable and that it's okay to open up and talk about their experiences - whether they're being bullied or see someone being bullied.
"We all have it in us to help, simply by being friendly, kind and considerate to others."
Tinie appeared in an on-air campaign on Cartoon Network today (17.11.14) which also included an original series of animated shorts addressing the viewpoints of the bully, the bullied and the observer.
Cartoon Network plans to roll out its anti-bullying campaign 'CN Buddy Network: Be A Buddy Not A Bully' - in other countries across the EMEA region in 2015.
Kids can visit Cartoonnetwork.co.uk/beabuddy for more information, resources, professional advice and tips and visit Cartoon Network UK's YouTube channel to watch the original animated shorts and video messages from Tinie Tempah and Anna Williamson.

Kourtney Kardashian celebrates second baby shower

Kourtney Kardashian celebrated a second baby shower on Sunday (16.11.14).
The pregnant reality TV star joined several friends for breakfast at restaurant chain IHOP in Calabasas, Los Angeles, for the pyjama party-themed celebration.
Kourtney posted on Twitter: "Baby shower breakfast. #pajamas #ihop #bestfriends (sic)"
The accompanying image she uploaded to Instagram showed Kourtney sat in her red sleepwear with a matching devil horn headband, accompanied by a "Happy Baby Shower Kourtney" pin badge, and she was smiling as she was about to tuck into a delicious white cake.
As well as the baked treat, Kourtney also enjoyed a mug of hot chocolate.
Among the guests was her close pal Allie Rizzo, who donned polka dot satin sleepwear, and all her pals arrived with various gifts for the unborn baby, believed to be a girl.
It was a fun-filled weekend for Kourtney as on Saturday (15.11.14) she and her long-term partner Scott Disick threw an early birthday party for their son Mason, who turns five on December 14.
The bash was themed around the film 'A Nightmare Before Christmas' and Kourtney's sister Khloe painted her face white and wore an orange wig to resemble the character Sally for the celebration.
The pyjama party was Kourtney's second baby shower after the 35-year- old beauty - who also has a two-year-old daughter Penelope with Scott, 31 - enjoyed a 'Breakfast At Tiffany's' themed brunch last Wednesday (12.11.14) with her sisters Kim Kardashian West, Khloé and Kylie Jenner at the Montage Hotel in Beverly Hills.
Speaking about the inspiration for the celebration, Kim told E! News: "Originally I really wanted to have breakfast at Tiffany's, and so it's Kourt's favourite movie and so I watched it on a plane back from Paris and ... We stopped at Tiffany's and they just said that they get millions of requests for that, so we kind of made our own Tiffany's ... and we thought it was perfect."

Jamie Oliver’s chili punishment

Jamie Oliver makes his kids eat chillies when they are naughty.
The 39-year-old chef - who has kids Poppy, 12, Daisy, 11, Petal, five, and Buddy, four, with wife Jools - rubbed an apple with a hot Scotch Bonnet pepper to teach his eldest girl a lesson after she was "disrespectful and rude" to him.
He jokingly admitted: "I give them chillies for punishment. It is not very popular beating kids any more, it's not very fashionable and you are not allowed to do it and if you are a celebrity chef like me it does not look very good in the paper. So you need a few options.
"Poppy was quite disrespectful and rude to me and she pushed her luck. In my day I would have got a bit of a telling-off but you are not allowed to do that.
"Five minutes later she thought I had forgotten and I hadn't. She asked for an apple. I cut it up into several pieces and rubbed it with Scotch Bonnet and it worked a treat."
However, Jamie admitted his wife was furious with his unusual discipline technique.
He added to the Daily Mail newspaper: "She ran up to mum and said, 'This is peppery'. I was in the corner laughing. [Jools] said to me, 'Don't you ever do that again.' "
Meanwhile, it seems Jamie is a hit with students as new research shows his books are the top-selling by celebrity chefs among university students at the moment.
Purchases of cookbooks have surged by 70 per cent in the past month, research from Amazon Student has shown, with Jamie's budget-friendly 'Save with Jamie: Shop Smart, Cook Clever, Waste Less' book the overall second most popular food tome among users of the higher education subscription service, coming in behind 'Nosh for Students' by Jon & Ron May.
Other favourite celebrity chefs include Mary Berry in second place, with her 'Great British Bake-Off' co-judge Paul Hollywood in third, Delia Smith in fourth and Nigella Lawson in fifth.
Charlie Caroe, Amazon Student Manager at Amazon.co.uk Ltd, said: "As well as stretching their academic minds while at university, students are also stretching their culinary capabilities. The recent surge in cookbook sales shows that students are interested in choosing to cook more exciting meals from scratch while at university to satisfy their sense of accomplishment."
Amazon Student helps students save time and money on their shopping by offering six months of unlimited free One-Day Delivery on over seven million eligible items. At the end of the six-month free trial, students can convert to a discounted Amazon Prime membership for £39 per year.

Scarlett Johansson returning to LA

Scarlett Johansson is moving back to Los Angeles.
The 'Avengers' actress relocated to Paris, France last year with fiancé Romain Dauriac but returned to her native New York a few months ago before giving birth to daughter Rose, now two months, and is now also looking for a home on the West Coast, with plans to split her time between the two US cities.
The 29-year-old beauty was seen house-hunting in Los Feliz - the same neighbourhood she lived in with former husband Ryan Reynolds - at the weekend and spent over an hour looking at a Spanish-style property.
However, she passed on the $2.9 million home after deciding it wasn't private enough for her and her family's needs, TMZ reports.
The 'Vicky Cristina Barcelona' star returned to America in the final stages of her pregnancy because she wanted her mother Melanie Sloan to be by her side when she gave birth.
A source previously said: "She knew she would feel more comfortable in the United States."
The Golden Globe nominee, who will voice snake Kaa in the 2015 animated film 'The Jungle Book', is planning to return to work soon and her fiancé, who is an advertising executive, has assured her he will take care of their daughter and support her 100 per cent.
The insider added: "Romain is happy to take care of Rose while she's on set."
