Mickey Rourke won his boxing match against Elliot Seymour.
The actor, 62, returned to the ring in Moscow, Russia, on Friday evening (28.11.14) to compete in an exhibition fight against a 29-year-old competitor, who he defeated in the second round.
Wearing a Stetson hat, a red and gold robe and shiny gold gloves, Mickey - who has been dating Russian model Anastassija Makarenko since 2011 - sent Elliot to the canvas twice before the fight was stopped and he was declared victorious.
The match was the star's first fight in more than 20 years, after deciding to focus on his acting career with films such as 'The Wrestler' and 'The Expendables', but said returning to the ring has helped him deal with his personal issues.
He explained: "I've got some things going on in my life so that [boxing has] sort of saved me from myself,
"And for a man like me, it's better to live in fear than go on in shame."
Having trained as an amateur boxer as a youngster, the star returned to the sport in the 1990s for three years, and boasts a career in which he went undefeated in eight fights. However, the star quit the sport following a number of facial injuries for which he required surgery.
After confirming his return to the sport on Friday, the Oscar winning actor - who shed 35lbs in preparation for the match - is expected to announce several more matches in the Russian capital in the coming months.

Michael Phelps is back with his girlfriend after a fling with an intersex woman.
Earlier this month, Taylor Lianne Chandler - who was born with parts of female and male genitalia - claimed to have had an affair with the Olympic swimmer, but the 29-year-old sportsman has now reconnected with his ex-girlfriend following the short-lived romance.
Instagram images posted to former Miss America, Nicole Johnson's account, now suggests the couple have rekindled their love and have been spending lots of time together.
In the caption of a selfie featuring the 22-medal Olympian taken earlier this week, she wrote: "Out with my grizzlyman @m_phelps00 #datenight #nerds #movietime. (sic)"
On Thursday, she returned to show another snap of the pair, this time with friends and members of Michael's family, with whom she spent Thanksgiving.
She wrote: "So #thankful for each of the people in this photo@hilary_phelps, whit, @m_phelps00, @dougeldridgemissing the parents @mamaphelpsh20@annettejohnsoncoss @douginla & dougs mama #family #eastcoastlove #happiness (sic)."
News that the couple have reignited their love comes just days after his short-term fling admitted they are no longer an item, and spoke about how she had originally connected with the stud through the dating app Tinder.
She told The Daily Beast: "He pursued me [on Tinder]. He was actually outside the age range for what my account was set-up for. But what I've learned is when someone looks at whatever and likes you, even if they're younger it shows up in your feed."

Rob Kardashian has launched his own range of loungewear.
The 27-year-old entrepreneur set up his sock company, Arthur George, in 2012 and has now expanded the venture by adding a range of items, including a onesie, with sister Khloe Kardashian vocalising her support for the fashion foray on her Instagram.
Captioning a split-image of three of the items on her Instagram, his 30-year-old sister wrote: "So proud of you Rob!!!!! @arthurgeorge87loungewear by @robkardashian just landed at Macy's! Make sure you go to AGloungewear.com to see the list of store locations. You deserve all the success in the world! (sic)."
Other members of his family also expressed their happiness about the troubled television personality moving forward with his business, with his other sisters Kim Kardashian West and Kourtney Kardashian tweeting links to his range.
The unveiling of his line of loungewear is the former 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' star's first public move in several months, following a struggle with depression which has seen him withdraw from the family's television show, and avoid celebrity events.
In May, the former model - who has struggled with his image over the years - missed Kim's wedding to 'Bound 2' rapper Kanye West in Florence, Italy, due to insecurities about his weight.
Speaking on her reality television show in an episode broadcast in September, Kim said: "When Rob flew to Paris he read some nasty comments about himself and he just didn't feel comfortable. He didn't want to see all my guests. It makes me so sad for him. It's heartbreaking. It really is. I don't want to think about it. I don't want to talk about it."

Kate Hudson and Cara Delevingne celebrated Thanksgiving with a dance-off.
The two friends took to Instagram to take up a challenge set by 'Dancing with the Stars' duo Julianne and Derek Hough, which saw the pair dancing to Mark Ronson's collaboration with Bruno Mars, 'Uptown Funk', in four short clips.
In the videos, Kate and her 22-year-old pal can be seen emerging from behind some curtains and busting some moves while the 'Wish I Was Here' star's brothers Oliver and Wyatt, her mother's partner Kurt Russell, and his son Boston, sat on a sofa tapping their feet.
The 35-year-old actress was joined by her mother, Goldie Hawn, to celebrate the North American holiday, but the 69-year-old star was less willing to show off her dancing ability, and instead chose to film the hilarious snippets.
Adding a caption to one of the clips, Kate wrote: "And that's my Mum counting us in in the background,"
While Kate's fiancé, Muse frontman Matt Bellamy, was no where to be seen, the star enjoyed herself making the videos, with latter clips showing the family break out their freestyle moves.
Signing off with a caption on the fourth video, the mother-of-two sent her well-wishes to her 407,000 followers.
The Golden Globe winner wrote: "Happy Thanksgiving everyone! From our family to yours, peace and love @juleshough@caradelevingne #lovemyfamily #UptownFunk #markronson #thanksgivingdancewars #dancebattle #SuchABlast (sic)."
Other stars to have taken up the challenge from the dancing duo included actress Maria Menounos and 'Dancing with the Stars' finalist, Sadie Robertson.

Piers Morgan has slammed Shia LaBeouf after he claimed he was raped.
The outspoken television personality blasted the 28-year-old in a series of tweets after Shia said he had been sexually assaulted while taking part in an art exhibition titled '#IAMSORRY', earlier this year.
Taking to the social network on Friday night (28.11.14), he wrote: "Shia LaBeouf's claim to have been 'raped' is truly pathetic & demeans real rape victims. Grow up, you silly little man."
The supposed incident took place in February when he took part in the Los Angeles exhibition which saw him sitting in silence with a paper bag on his head while strangers came and sat with him. However, the star recently recalled one particularly unpleasant experience during the five-day art installation in which he received unwelcome sexual advances.
He told a Dazed & Confused journalist: "One woman who came with her boyfriend, who was outside the door when this happened, whipped my legs for ten minutes and then stripped my clothing and proceeded to rape me."
Following his original tweet about Shia's encounter, the 49-year-old journalist was sent several messages condemning the comments, but stood by his view the 'Fury' actor had made up the allegations.
He continued: "A Hollywood actor sitting with a paper bag over his head who did nothing as he claims a woman 'raped' him has not been raped. #labeouf"
In a final tweet about the 'Nymphomaniac' star - who is currently dating actress Mia Goth - the former 'Piers Morgan Live' host branded the claims as an "utterly shameful" PR stunt.
He added: "People are actually defending Shia LaBeouf. The world's gone mad. He's invented a supposed 'rape' for cheap PR - utterly shameful."

Niall Horan has taken up cooking.
The 21-year-old One Direction member has been brushing up on his culinary skills with the help of a recipe book from celebrity chef, Jamie Oliver, in the hope of impressing future girlfriends.
When asked about his ideal date, the heartthrob said: "I've just started getting into cooking now, so come round to my house and I'll cook for you. I have 'Jamie Oliver's 15-Minute Meals' [cookbook] and it's good."
The star - who recently picked up three American Music Awards with his bandmates Zayn Malik, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne - revealed the lamb mince-based meal, shepherd's pie, is his favourite dinner to whip up when he has time off, but admitted he probably wouldn't be cooking for his bandmates any time soon because they tend not to spend their free time together.
Talking on Australian chat-show, 'A Current Affair', he explained: "On our time off we just like to chill and not really do much. We figured out recently that, it's not a conscious decision, but we don't really see each other on our time off, because we don't get that much time at home, so when we do go home it's family time, not friends time."
Despite their busy schedule which Niall admitted hasn't allowed him to properly hone his cooking skills, Louis said they are still enjoying their time in the band, having just released their fourth album in as many years.
He added: "We're really happy. We're just taking one step at a time. We're really enjoying it while it's great now, and we're just going to hopefully enjoy it and see where that takes us."

John Cleese thinks political correctness is "condescending."
The controversial comic has made jokes about a variety of cultural stereotypes during his career, but admits he finds it ridiculous there are certain countries which are off-limits to laugh at.
Talking about political correctness, he said: "It starts as a half way decent idea and then it goes completely wrong and is taken ad absurdum,"
The 'Monty Python' star elaborated on his point, by giving an example of a situation when his audiences became outraged by some of his gags.
He continued: "Make jokes about Swedes and Germans and French and English and Canadians and Americans, why can't we make jokes about Mexicans? Is it because they are so feeble that they can't look after themselves?
"It's very very condescending there."
The 75-year-old actor - who married his fourth wife, Jennifer Wade, in 2012 - made the comments when speaking to fellow comedian Bill Mayer on HBO's 'Real Time', with the pair also discussing the risk a comic takes if they joke about Muslims
Bill - who has been criticised for his jokes about Islam in the past - said: "[You can't joke about] Muslims. Try that, see what your Twitter feed says."
The 'Fawlty Towers' star replied: "That's not saying that you can't, that's just saying that they'll kill you.
"But the problem is, if you are going to make jokes about people who are going to kill you, there is a tendency to hold back a little."

Sarah Silverman has joked Kate Beckinsale is a "pig".
The 43-year-old comedian made the gag earlier this week, but has since been forced to clarify her comments after posting an image of the pair on Instagram with a caption insulting the 41-year-old actress, who previously dated Sarah's current boyfriend Michael Sheen.
Sharing the snap from the American Music Awards, she wrote: "I can't believe my boyfriend ever dated this PIG."
However, following numerous comments from shocked fans on the social networking site, she clarified that the statement was made in jest, with the 'Underworld' actress even encouraging her to post it.
She wrote: "My last tweet may have seemed mean but it's not bc 1) it's HILARIOUS 2) Kate told me to tweet it 3) she's funnier than all y'all xo , (sic)."
The 'Wreck-It Ralph' star - who began dating the actor and director in January - praised her beau's "beautiful" ex earlier this year, insisting his former love interests made her feel even more thrilled about dating the hunk.
