Ricky Gervais wants Globes again

Ricky Gervais wants to host the Golden Globe awards again.
The 'Extras' star sparked controversy during his three stints hosting the star-studded ceremony between 2010 and 2012 because of his risque gags but looking back, he thinks his humour became more well received as time went on.
He told The Hollywood Reporter: "By the end they realised I was just telling jokes, 'Oh, he's not trying to ruin our life, he's just having a laugh.'
"But I think it was right to stop when I did. But I'd love to do it again one day. It's a good, fun industry party."
After the 2012 ceremony, the British star decided he wouldn't return for a fourth stint because there was nothing left for him to do at the awards.
Ricky, 53, wrote on his official blog at the time: "Thank f**k that's over. I had a blast actually. It was by far my favourite of the three hosting stints. I've told my agent to never let me be persuaded to do it again though. It's like a parachute jump. You can only really enjoy it in retrospect when you realise you didn't die and it was quite an amazing thing to do."
Tina Fey and Amy Poehler will return as hosts for the third time next year,

Neil Patrick Harris doesn’t know if he fathered twins

Neil Patrick Harris has "no interest" in finding out if he is his twins' biological father.
The 'How I Met Your Mother' actor and his husband David Burtka welcomed twins Gideon and Harper into the world via a surrogate in October 2010 but they don't care which of them has genetic links to each of the kids.
He said: "We inserted one of my sperm and one of David's sperm into two eggs with the hope that they would both take, just because we both wanted to be dads biologically. And both took, miraculously.
"I have no interest in [finding out]. We are their parents and I love them both implicitly."
However, Neil admitted he has "suspicions" as to which of the twins is biologically his and which is David's.
He said: "We certainly have suspicions just based on their behaviour."
The 41-year-old actor came out as gay in 2006 and admitted his parents were initially worried his sexuality "meant bad things".
He added to Barbara Walters: "[My father] comes from a military, more biblical background.
"They were worried that it meant bad things, that I was going to be in sex clubs risking my health and having a ton of partners. It didn't take long for me to prove to them that I'm not that way."
However, he admitted his father has since "done a 180" and accepts his sexuality and marriage.
He added: "He treats David just like he would any spouse."

Chris Hemsworth disapproves of Liam’s relationships

Chris Hemsworth hasn't approved of all of his brother Liam's relationships.
The 'Thor' star doesn't think his younger sibling - who was engaged to Miley Cyrus until they split in September 2013 after four years together - has always dated the right people and though he was just as "reckless" as the 'Last Song' actor when he was younger, he hasn't been very compassionate towards 24-year-old Liam's mistakes.
He said: "I've watched Liam do things I did at his age, like being in relationships he shouldn't be in, or being reckless just to prove a point. And I had no empathy. My mom had to remind me I was the same way."
The 31-year-old actor - who has daughter India, two, and nine-month-old twins Sasha and Tristan with wife Elsa Pataky - credits his older brother Luke Hemsworth, 34, for
helping save his career by making him less self-conscious with his acting.
Chris - who shot to fame on Australian soap 'Home and Away' explained: "Back when I was still on the soap, I became incredibly insecure and full of anxiety because I didn't know if I was any good. Yet I wanted it so bad.
"I spent years being angsty, constantly telling people I wasn't just part of a soap opera, that I was a real artist.
"And I remember Luke sort of snapping, telling me to shut up, that he was sick of hearing it."
And the 'Blackhat' hunk admits he had to stop being "self-important" after competing on the Australian version of 'Dancing with the Stars' in 2006.
He told America's GQ magazine: "After that show, I could never pull the serious, self-important card again."

Rosario Dawson’s gum help for girl-on-girl kiss

Rosario Dawson and Jenny Slate chewed gum and talked about their "husbands" just before kissing each other for a photoshoot.
The 35-year-old actress - who is not married and split from director Danny Boyle last year - and the 'Obvious Child' star were involved in a very passionate exchange for the New York Times newspaper, despite never meeting beforehand, and Rosario tried to make sure she didn't have smelly breath.
She said: "It was fun, we had really great music that we were listening to, it was really great. We just kind of caught up and talked about our husbands. It was really great, it was really fun and I really dig her!
"We were nice about it, you know. I didn't have like pickles and tuna fish beforehand, we were thoughtful ... we had gum."
Rosario revealed the 32-year-old beauty - who is married to filmmaker Dean Fleischer-Camp - wasn't the publication's first choice to embrace her in the photoshoot but the 'Sin City: A Dame to Kill For' star is pleased they chose Jenny because she loved making out with such a "beautiful" and "smart" woman.
Speaking on talk show 'Conan' on truTV, she added: "I don't know if it is bad or inappropriate to say but there was another actress that they were talking about doing it with, and I was like, 'Sure, that would be kind of great.'
"Then they changed and said it was going to be Jenny and I was like, 'Oh awesome!' Because I've never met her before and I just think she's rather hilarious and awesome and beautiful and cool and smart.
"We got there and we said, 'Hello, hi, nice to meet you' ... you know, like it was kind of awesome ... this is what I do for a living sometimes! Sometimes you know, I go to work and I make out with really beautiful, smart, cool, funny women."
UK viewers can watch Rosario's interview on 'Conan' at 11pm on Monday (15.12.14), on truTV (freeview channel 68) - the home of larger than life characters in real situations.

Sienna Miller found Instagram addictive

Sienna Miller found Instagram "addictive".
The 'American Sniper' actress spent five days on the photo-sharing website and though she enjoyed an initial outpouring of "love" from other users, she deleted her account because she worried she would be left feeling "incredibly lonely".
She said: "It was the most addictive thing. Every morning I'd wake up and there would be a thousand more followers or whatever and there would be these amazing greetings like 'Welcome! We love you!' I'd be inflated by this nonexistent, intangible love. I was like, 'I need to get off this.'"
"Ultimately it leaves you feeling incredibly lonely,. I know friends who are prolific on social media, and it gives them a lot of anxiety. That level of exposure..."
Though the 32-year-old actress - who has two-year-old daughter Marlowe with partner Tom Sturridge - enjoyed her brief stint on Instagram, she insists she would never join Twitter because she wouldn't be able to resist responding if anyone on the microblogging site criticised her.
She added in an interview with the new issue of Vogue magazine: "It would be a minefield. If someone attacked me, I definitely would retaliate."

Chelsea Handler wants short marriage

Chelsea Handler would like to get married - "for a short time".
The outspoken talk show host admits she would like to commit herself to another person - but only to see what the experience is like.
She said: "I would get married to try marriage. For a short time I would get married."
The 39-year-old blonde also admitted she is "promiscuous" but would never date another woman.
Asked if she considers herself promiscuous by TV host Barbara Walters, she said: "Yes, I like men."
Earlier this year, Chelsea was touted as a possible replacement for departing late night talk show hosts David Letterman and Craig Ferguson, but she insists the roles were never for her because she hates rules.
She said: "I'm not a network kind of girl. It's never been an option for me. I don't really play by the rules, I don't like rules, I don't follow them."
And the comedienne also spoke of her reasons for leaving her own E! show, admitting she was "bored" of celebrity gossip.
She added: "I felt that I had enough with the Kardashians before I ever met the Kardashians."

Seth MacFarlane throws festive party

Seth MacFarlane transformed his house into a "winter wonderland" at the weekend.
The 'Family Guy' creator held a festive party at his house in Beverly Hills on Saturday (13.12.14) for guests including Leonardo DiCaprion, Robert Pattinson and his girlfriend F.K.A. twigs, Charlize Theron and partner Sean Penn, Zac Efron, Kate Beckinsale, Martin Scorsese and Ryan Seacrest and pulled out all the stops to make it a celebration to remember.
Partygoers were greeted by carole singers, while Seth's house was decked out with festive lights, glittering displays and even Santa's sleigh, while there was also a bar made of ice, with fur coats provided to keep guests warm as they drank in their chilly surroundings.
The 41-year-old host then performed show tunes with a live orchestra, and was surprised when his 'Million Ways to Die in the West' co-star Charlize requested to conduct the orchestra.
According to Us Weekly magazine, Seth laughed and said: "Charlize, if you f**k this tempo up I swear to God!"
The South African beauty was cheered for her command over 'Let It Snow' before leaving the stage.
Meanwhile, 'Twilight' hunk Robert appeared to be having a great times with his girlfriend and pal Zac Efron.
An onlooker said: "They were cute and looked happy. He was joking with her about something, and she was laughing and yelling at him, and he pulled her hands and put them on his face."

Petra Nemcova felt ‘weight lifted’ after tsunami

Petra Nemcova felt a "weight lifted" from her shoulders after she was caught in a tsunami.
The former Sports Illustrated model was holidaying in Thailand in 2005 when the devastating waves hit killing 280,000 people, including her fiance Simon Atlee, and she's now revealed how much she's learned from the heartbreaking disaster.
She said: "You know, one of the things the tsunami taught me is not to over-think the future ... Before the tsunami I always lived in the future, never the present, but planning places so much pressure on you; it is such a weight on your shoulders.
"For me, after the tsunami that weight lifted. I think of it as one of the gifts that it gave me. I am no longer stuck in the future, I can simply enjoy the moment that is now."
Since losing her fiance 10 years ago, the 35-year-old beauty has founded a charity named Happy Hearts which builds schools in areas affected by natural disasters and she claims that although she always knew she wanted to help children, she feels the experience helped to motivate her.
Petra explained: "I think most people have a mission in life, a role they feel set to play - mine has always been that I wanted to work with children and in education. The tsunami happened and it fast-forwarded the process."
Petra - who is originally from the Czech Republic but now calls Haiti her home and is dating the nation's president Laurent Lamothe - insists she will always remain thankful despite suffering such a painful loss.
She added to MailOnline: "I think one of the things I've always had is gratitude. Every morning when I wake up and every evening before I fall asleep I say thanks.
"Not for huge things, just things that have happened that day, the experience I have had, the people I have met, and the things that the new day will bring."
The stunning blonde - who previously dated actor Sean Penn - also admits she would love children, although she's currently happy with the "67,000" she already has attending her schools.

Scarlett Johansson: Sex scenes are liberating

Scarlett Johansson finds sex scenes "liberating".
The 'Lucy' actress thinks love-making on screen is "challenging" because it requires so much focus and energy and she likes how she has to shed her inhibitions for raunchy roles.
She said: "You have to be totally without judgement, and it's sort of liberating. It's challenging. You have to stay in the moment."
Despite her stunning looks and enviable physique, Scarlett - who has two-month-old daughter Rose with new husband Romain Dauriac - insists her body is "unremarkable" and she doesn't consider herself sexy.
Speaking on 'Barbara Walters Presents: The 10 Most Fascinating People of 2014', she said: "It's an OK body. I wouldn't say it's particularly remarkable though. I don't like my thighs, my mid section.
Discussing how she feels about being considered sexy, she added: "I never put on a sexy face, so I don't know what it means to act seductively."
The 'Lost in Translation' star - who was previously married to Ryan Reynolds - also discussed her personal life, admitting she finds relationships "challenging".
She said: "I think being in a committed relationship takes work.
"It's very easy to leave a situation when it gets uncomfortable. It's challenging. But when it works it's really worth it."
