Katy Perry is planning to make a "jab" at Taylor Swift during her Super Bowl performance.
The 'Dark Horse' hitmaker will take to the stage for her halftime performance at the sporting event next month and is reportedly ready to show that she is "the biggest female act in the world".
A source revealed to HollywoodLife.com: "Katy is in complete rehearsal mode for her Super Bowl performance, she wants to make it feel like a complete party and something that will be remembered forever.
"She wants to make a statement with her performance and show that she is the biggest female act in the world and she wants to show that to everyone including Taylor, who she has a feud with. In Katy's eyes, no one can compete on her level.
"Katy will be doing something on stage during her performance that will be directed towards Taylor. She is working on it to be a visual or a lyric related jab."
Meanwhile, the 30-year-old singer is believed to be keen to recruit Pharrell Williams, 41, so the pair can perform one of her tracks together.
A source previously shared: "Katy is a huge fan of Pharrell and knows that having him duet with her on one of her songs during her performance will make all the difference.
"Her people are already in early talks with people about setting it all up. He is tempted as he knows it will be an amazing, slick, professional show."

Angelina Jolie has been learning Derbyshire phrases.
The 39-year-old 'Unbroken' director - was reportedly "fascinated" to hear the film's lead actor, Jack O'Connell, who hails from Derby in east England, speaking in his county's dialect, the Daily Star on Sunday newspaper reports.
One of the cast members shared: "In between takes she was fascinated to listen to Jack chatting away in what to her may as well have been a foreign language.
"There's no doubt she picked up a few useful new phrases from him."
Jack, though, is believed to have gotten fed up by the constant attention placed on his accent.
The cast member continued: "Jack is a wonderful guy. But even though he'd bite his tongue, you could tell he was p***ed off when folks mimicked his way of speaking or commented on how weird it was."
Fellow actor, Miyavi, 33, also admitted he struggled to understand Jack's accent.
He explained: "I can understand what everyone says apart from him.
"Jack plays the film's American hero, so spoke with a US east coast accent that meant everyone understood what he was saying while we were shooting. But once the cameras stopped rolling Jack would revert to his native accent, so I'd need my dialect expert on hand all the time to let me know what was being said."

will.i.am doesn't have time for relationships.
The 'Scream and Shout' hitmaker admits that his jet-setting career - which saw him travel nearly two million miles last year - means he has to give up on love for the time being.
He shared: "I don't have time for girlfriends. And that's why I just keep busy, I keep going because that's what I want to do."
The 39-year-old rapper and businessman credits his ex for making things happen for him, despite the pair splitting up on the phone after nine years together.
He explained: "Back in 1998, I said to my ex girlfriend, 'I'm just going on tour for a couple of months'. And I never came back. We were together for nine years - and we had to break up over the phone. It's not always easy but it is what it is.
"She was the one who helped all of this happen, we stayed in touch as friends. The track 'Heartbreaker' [Black Eyed Peas single featuring Cheryl Fernandez-Versini] is about her.
"I moved out of my mum's house and straight in with her - she was the girl who looked after me, and without her the Black Eyed Peas wouldn't have happened."
Despite not having time for love, will.i.am admits that he prefers to keep busy.
He told Notebook magazine: "I don't really like chilling out. I could easily schedule my calendar so I don't have to work so much but I keep it packed because I like working hard ...
"The only time I'm on my own is when I'm travelling to the next place on a plane or occasionally on a day off. It's fine, it's work."

Kelly Brook is looking for a house in northern England.
The 35-year-old model is reportedly hunting around for a £2 million countryside home in Cheshire so she save her relationship with David McIntosh, who lives in nearby Manchester.
Her friend shared: "Kelly's determined to make it work with David and is prepared to up sticks and move to where he is.
"Word is she's looking in the £2million price range in the most select and desirable areas."
Kelly - who got engaged to the 29-year-old former Gladiator last March before ending it six months later - is believed to have told friends that living in the United States means she can't spend time with David.
The move won't be cheap for Kelly as she is reportedly looking at some of the county's most expensive villages of Alderley Edge, Wilmslow and Hale but is "keeping her options open" when it comes to living arrangements.
The friend continued to the Sunday Mirror newspaper: "You would assume David would move in with her but Kelly is a girl who has always kept her options open.
"She does love the North, though, and feels she could adapt quite well."
The pair were recently spotted partying at two nightspots in Hale before enjoying a burger and each other's company at a diner in Manchester the following evening.

Liam Payne has bought a house for his parents.
The One Direction star has invested in a £400,000 home for his father, Geoff, mother, Karen and older sisters Nicola and Ruth near his childhood abode in the West Midlands.
A friend told The Sun on Sunday newspaper: "Liam thinks the world of his parents and it pains him to leave his family behind when he is on tour.
"He is also a shrewd operator. At 21 he has shown excellent awareness of the importance of investments. 1D won't last for ever but Liam has already secured several million in bricks and mortar."
Liam paid £357,500 for the detached property in the English county, which has since increased in value to £400,000.
It is not the only property investment the 21-year-old singer has made; he has also purchased a super-mansion in Surrey for himself.
The three-storey house - which cost him £5.1 million - has an all-weather tennis court, a cinema and heated outdoor swimming pool as well as a wine store and a ballet studio.
High security measures are in place to ensure the 'Steal My Girl' hitmaker - who will soon embark on his third world tour with his 1D bandmates, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik and Harry Styles - is not disturbed by fans during his time off.
A source revealed previously: "The security is insane. Every part of the house and grounds are in camera isolation zones, many heat and motion monitored."

Charlie Sheen was worried no one would show up to his funeral.
The 'Anger Management' star - who has five children from his previous relationships - has admitted that a cancer scare left him "terrified".
He said: "As soon as I was told I may have the Big C my mind flashed forward.
"First, I pictured a scene where my kids were around my hospital bedside as I lay there dying. That kind of spooks the hell out of you, emotionally.
"I didn't think about what treatment I might have or what pain I might be in or anything like that. I took it right to the end in my mind and wondered who would be at my funeral, mourning my passing.
"The whole thing was absolutely terrifying."
The 49-year-old actor admitted it was a "wake-up call" after he was diagnosed with what doctors believed was a pre-cancerous growth in his throat.
However, a second doctor's opinion later revealed it was just a case of acid reflux - a diagnosis that filled him with relief.
He told the Daily Star on Sunday newspaper: "My girlfriend at that time was with me and we both fell into each other's arms crying.
"I'm going to be more diligent about getting regular check-ups. This was a wake-up call and I'm not ready yet for the big, dramatic ending I imagined."

Patrick Schwarzenegger's relationship with Miley Cyrus may cost him £32 million.
The 21-year-old actor has reportedly been ordered to end it with the 22-year-old singer if he wants to get his hands on the trust fund that his parents - Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver - set up for him for when he turns 25.
A family friend shared: "They are both convinced she is a negative influence on their son and are determined to end the relationship."
However, the plan hasn't seemed to work, with another source revealing that Patrick - who has been dating the 'Wrecking Ball' hitmaker for a few months - would "rather be with Miley than have the money".
Patrick brought Miley with him to visit relatives in Hyannis Port, Massachusetts during the recent festive period, a decision that is believed to have "exasperated" his family.
A friend of Arnold and Maria explained: "Maria especially is hoping the shock tactic of threatening to cut him off financially will scare him into giving Miley the elbow.
"He and his mom had a huge argument during which he told her she and Arnie could stick their cash 'where the sun don't shine'. He said he'd rather be with Miley than have the money.
"It's upsetting for Maria and Arnie because they fear Miley will lead him astray, then break his heart."

Simon Cowell has "set his heart" on conquering Hollywood.
The 55-year-old media mogul is so impressed by the success of Disney's 'Frozen' that he wants to create his own movies.
A source close to 'The X Factor' judge told the Sunday Mirror newspaper: "It is the logical step for him - he already has the biggest TV formats in the world and some of the world's biggest-selling musicians. He has already achieved so much.
"However, he has always been attracted by the prospect of creating great films that people want to see. He especially loves animation.
"When Simon sets his heart on something he doesn't rest until he has succeeded."
Simon's plans came to light last year when he confirmed he had ten new musical animated cartoons in the pipeline.
He said previously: "Films are a great vehicle for breaking records. Using 'Frozen' as an example - the movie pushed the music and the music enhanced the movie. I think that's how we're going to work.
"These musical animations are doing great box office. From a record label standpoint, we're always looking for different ways to sell music and do it in a cool way.
"This is something we dreamed of doing. But the music has to be current."
Simon - who is currently enjoying his annual holiday in Barbados with his partner, Lauren Silverman, and their ten-month-old son Eric - is keen to repeat the success of One Direction's 'This Is Us' movie documentary, which made over £46 million.
His first project will bring back cartoon character, Betty Boop, with Simon and his partners already in discussion with Animal Logic - the team behind 'The Lego Movie' and 'Happy Feet'.
Simon shared: "We will become a magnet for people who have ideas.
"Betty is an icon, and one of the biggest stars in the world - I'm thrilled to be working with her.
"I've worked with some serious divas but I think she could be the biggest of them all!"
The ten movies he has planned are expected to be released this year and into 2016.

Usher allegedly beat up a man in a club on New Year's Eve (31.12.14).
The 36-year-old singer is reported to have been partying at Miami nightclub E11even when a man insulted his girlfriend - and rumoured fiancee - Grace Miguel, leading to him losing his temper and punching him repeatedly.
A source told MediaTakeOut.com: "Usher was in VIP with his girlfriend, and some drunk White guy was screaming disrespectful things towards Usher, trying to get his attendtion. When that didn't work, we started saying nasty things about his [fiance Grace]. The guy called her ugly...
"To Usher's credit, we didn't act like a b*tch. He broke through security and started fighting the guy. (sic)"
The source goes on to claim the 'Climax' singer punched the unidentified man multiple times like a "boxer".
The eyewitness continued: "Usher f**ked him up. It was like a four piece - Usher must be a boxer or something because the punches were very fast."
Potentially in response to the incident, the musician - who has sons Usher, seven, and Naviyd, six - posted a photo of a painful eye injury on Instagram on Friday (02.01.15).
Captioning the image, he wrote: "You should see the other guy!! (sic)"
Referencing the photo, the source added: "I don't know how Usher's eye got like that because I didn't see White dude even tough Usher. (sic)"
