Kate Bosworth has a shot of whisky every time her favourite American football team scores a touchdown.
The 32-year-old actress and her husband Michael Polish love to get into the spirit of things when they are watching their favourite team Dallas Cowboys compete in the NFL by playing a drinking game to spice things up a bit.
Speaking on 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon', she said: "I married into this team, my husband is a huge Dallas Cowboys fan as is his father so it's a family affair.
"We have an arrangement, my husband and I, every time they make a touchdown we take a shot of whisky, which I think is fair."
Talk show host Jimmy then joked that must mean the star and her director husband downed a fair bit of alcohol during the Cowboys' 24-20 victory over the Detroit Lions last week.
He joked: "So last week in the fourth quarter you did like three shots in 10 minutes or something like that?"
Kate replied: "Yeah ... it was a good game. It was a good game!
"It was a nailbiter."
Jimmy joked the people of New York don't need to wait for their teams, the New York Giants or New York Jets, to score before downing some alcohol while watching football.
He quipped: "We have the Jets here and the Giants so we drink whisky no matter what."
But Kate didn't have any shots while watching the Cowboys take on the Green Bay Packers last night (11.01.15) because she wasn't with Michael.
She wrote: "Without @michael_polish this game, so no drinking going on... But celebrating none the less! @LimuElizabeth @dallascowboys (sic)"
While the blonde stunner was celebrating early on in the game, she was ultimately left disappointed as her team went down 26-21 to end their chances of getting into the Super Bowl this season.
She wrote: "No matter the loss, no matter the call- I am so proud of this @dallascowboys team. They r Superstars who play their hearts out. #fanforlife (sic)"

Gary Oldman's fourth wife Alexandra Edenborough has filed for divorce.
The 56-year-old actor - who was previously married to Lesley Manville, Uma Thurman and Donya Fiorentino - and the English jazz singer have been married since December 2008 but she has reportedly cited irreconcilable differences as a reason for their separation.
According to RadarOnline, Alexandra has listed the date of the pair's separation as TBD (to be determined) and asked the court to not award the 'Dark Knight' star spousal support, but she wants him to pay her lawyer fees and spousal support.
Gary previously admitted he "wasn't proud" to have married four times but was confident the 36-year-old brunette would be his last wife.
He said: "I'm not proud to say that though. But I've had a few goes at it now, so I've probably learnt something from the first three.
"Practice makes perfect. Isn't that what they say? I'm not proud that this is my fourth marriage. But this is a good one. Hopefully, my last one."
Gary didn't have any children with Alexandra but has three kids from his previous relationships, Alfie, 26, from his marriage to Leslie, as well as sons Gulliver, 17, and Charlie, 15, who he won custody of following his and Donya's divorce in 2001.

Olly Murs was like a "zombie" after being stricken by depression.
The 30-year-old singer - who shot to fame when he came second on 'The X Factor' in 2009 - felt he had a "split personality" because he was so different on stage to out of the spotlight.
He said: "It was straight off the back of the 'X Factor' tours. I was drinking too much, I'd always want a drink - vodka and orange - before I performed. You have this split personality.
"You save all the smiles and the happiness for the performance and then it was like you just switched off. I was moody all the time.
"I was like a zombie but underneath it all, I was just worrying about what was going to happen to me and I was actually depressed."
The 'Up' singer eventually confided in his management team about how much he was struggling and was relieved they were incredibly supportive in helping him back to health.
He recalled to Event magazine: "I burst into tears and they told me to take a break. It's crazy, but that was the last thing you expect to hear. You almost expect them to say, 'Well goodbye then'.
"But they had more faith in me than I had in myself and they also realised I was burnt out. It took two weeks for me to sort myself out.
" I came back and everything just flew from that point. Of all the things you need to hang on to, your head is the one that counts."

Guy Pearce expects Robert Pattinson to become the "biggest movie star in the world".
The 47-year-old actor appears alongside the 'Twilight' star in thriller film 'The Rover' and he believes the hunk's great looks and superb acting ability can enable him to become the best in the industry if he puts his mind to it.
He said: "I'd met Robert briefly one Comic Con a couple of years ago and told him he was great - I'd only seen one of his films, 'Water For Elephants'.
"He's as interested in delving into character as much, if not more, than I am.
"I thought, 'This guy's totally my cup of tea.' Then I put two and two together and went, 'Hang on, he looks like that, he's that famous and he's this good .... Seriously, if he doesn't become the biggest movie star in the world there's something wrong.'
"Amazing as an actor and amazing looking - what a combination."
Guy previously credited his own acting ability to his suffering from social anxiety, but the star admitted he isn't affected by it "as much" nowadays compared to what he used to be like which he puts down partly to his age.
He added to Metro newspaper: "I'm much older now but if I'm at a social situation and then leave, I feel a massive sense of relief.
"I'm sure this is the same for a lot of people, you don't feel like necessarily being 'on'.
"I've always had people say to me, 'Oh you take things too seriously, you're a misery guys.'
"I always feel like I have to pretend I'm not any of that stuff, which takes energy.
"So when I leave a situation I go, 'Thank god I can be on my own now.' Or with my wife, she understands."

Amy Adams thanked Hollywood's "wonderful female role models" at the Golden Globe Awards.
The 40-year-old actress - who scooped Best Actress in a Motion Picture, Comedy or Musical for her role in 'Big Eyes' - used her acceptance speech at last night's (11.01.15) ceremony to express her gratitude towards those who set a good example to her four-year-old daughter Aviana, who she has with fiance Darren LeGallo.
She said: "I have so many wonderful female role models here tonight.
"It's just so wonderful that women today have such a strong voice and I have a four-and-a-half year old and I'm so grateful to have all the women in this room. You speak to her so loudly.
"She watches everything, and she sees everything and I'm just so, so grateful for all of you women in this room who have such a lovely, beautiful voice."
Amy wasn't the only star to celebrate female empowerment in her acceptance speech.
Maggie Gyllenhaal said she is "turned on" by strong females in TV and film as she hailed a "new wealth of roles" for women when she picked up the prize for Best Actress in a Mini-Series - which she won for her role in 'The Honourable Woman' - at the Beverly Hilton hotel.
She said: "I've noticed a lot of people talking about the wealth of roles for powerful women in television lately, and when I look around the room at the women who are in here and I think about the performances that I've watched this year, what I see actually are women who are sometimes powerful and sometimes not. Sometimes sexy, sometimes not. Sometimes honourable, sometimes not.
"And what I think is new is the wealth or roles for actual women in television and in film. That's what I think is revolutionary and evolutionary, and it's what's turning me on."
And Julianne Moore recalled the difficulties in getting 'Still Alice' made as she accepted the prize for Best Actress in a Motion Picture, Drama for her turn in the movie.
She said: "When Lisa Genova wrote this book, she told me that no one wanted to make it into a movie because no one wanted to see a movie about a middle-aged woman.
"So I wanna thank the people who actually made the movie, James Brown and Lex Lutzus, Sony Classics and my good, good friends at Killer Films and this amazing cast, and our filmmakers, who, in the middle of their own crisis from a degenerate disease, ALS, decided they wanted to make movies."

Tina Fey and Amy Poehler poked fun at the scandal surrounding 'The Interview' at the Golden Globe Awards last night (11.01.15).
The pair hosted the prestigious ceremony for the third time and repeatedly used the high-profile show to mock the alleged disapproval of the film from North Korea - who have been accused of being behind the high-profile hacking of Sony Pictures emails - and the surrounding controversy.
In the opening monologue, Tina told the audience at the Beverly Hilton hotel: "We celebrate all the great television shows we know and love and all the movies North Korea was OK with."
And of the movie itself, Tina said: "North Korea referred to 'The Interview' as 'absolutely intolerable and a wanton act of terror.' Even more amazing, not the worst review the movie got."
The two hosts also enlisted Margaret Cho - an American actress of Korean heritage - for an on-going gag which saw her play Cho Yung Ja, a contributor to fictional Movies Wow magazine and a North Korean army general who was not happy with the progression of the show.
At one point, Margaret, 46, said: "This is not a show, you no have thousand baby playing guitar at the same time.
"You no have people holding up many cartoon to make one big picture. You no have Dennis Rodman. No basketball at all."
The fictional general was stony-faced throughout much of an 'interview' with the presenters but cheered up at the chance to take a picture with Meryl Streep.
Tina said: "Meryl hold the magazine, it's like an HFPA thing, you've got to hold the magazine. OK thanks, we've got a lot of weird e-mails that can't be get out, you've got to do this first."
Amy, 43, added: "Do this for all of us Meryl" before her co-host said: "You love Korea, everyone knows it."
After Michael Keaton took the picture, Tina exclaimed: "Thank you, crisis averted. God Bless."
Elsewhere, the star-studded guests at the awards weren't safe from the pair's quick wit.
Speaking about 'Big Eyes', Amy mocked Emma's resemblance to Margaret Keane's paintings which are featured in the film.
She said: "Christoph Waltz and Amy Adams are here. They were so great in 'Big Eyes'. In fact, one of those famous big-eye paintings is on display tonight."
The camera then cut to the 'Amazing Spider-Man' actress sitting in the audience and Amy added: "So lifelike! It's like it's cute, but it's creepy!"
And Tina poked fun at "paranoid" Steve Carell and his turn in 'Foxcatcher'.
She said: "In 'Foxcatcher' Steve Carell plays a paranoid, murderous billionaire. It's a stretch for Carell, who in real-life is a paranoid, murderous millionaire".
However, the 44-year-old star wasn't afraid to laugh at herself either.
Of Steve's two-hour make-up transformation for the film, she said: "Just for comparison, it took me three hours today to prepare for my role as human woman."
Other stars mocked by the two presenters included Reese Witherspoon, 'Cake' actress Jennifer Aniston and George Clooney.
The 'Monuments Men' actor was honoured with the Cecil B. Demille lifetime achievement award but Tina felt it should have gone to his wife Amal instead.
She quipped: "George Clooney married Amal Alamuddin this year. Amal is a human rights lawyer who worked on the Enron case, was an advisor to Kofi Annan regarding Syria and was selected for a three-person UN commission investigating rules of war violations in the Gaza strip... So tonight, her husband is getting a lifetime achievement award."

Celine Dion will not return to her Las Vegas residency this year.
The 'Think Twice' hitmaker postponed her shows at Caesars Palace Hotel and Casino last August to care for her husband René Angélil, who had a cancerous tumour removed from his throat in December 2013, and though she was originally expected to return to performing in March, TMZ reports she has now told the venue she won't be back until the end of 2015 at the earliest.
René is said to be getting better and recovering slowly from the disease.
When she first cancelled her working commitments, Celine, 46, spoke of her desire to dedicate her time to her spouse and their sons, 13-year-old René-Charles and four-year-old twins Eddy and Nelson
She said: "I want to devote every ounce of my strength and energy to my husband's healing, and to do so, it's important for me to dedicate this time to him and to our children. I also want to apologise to all my fans everywhere, for inconveniencing them, and I thank them so much for their love and support ... at this very difficult and stressful time.
Following his surgery, René, 72, relinquished his position as his wife's manager this year, handing over control of Celine's career to his long-time friend and frequent collaborator Aldo Giampaolo - who has worked with the couple for 25 years.
Aldo is the CEO of Feeling Productions, Celine's management company, while René has remained in his position as chairman of the board.
