‘She is so chilled’: James Jordan praises supermum Ola

James Jordan says his wife Ola is more relaxed about parenthood than he is.

James, 42, welcomed daughter Ella with Ola, 37, in February and says his wife is a complete natural with the tot.

He told The Sun newspaper: "She’s like a duck to water. When she grew up in Poland her sister, who’s quite a bit older than her, had a baby, so she has grown up around babies.

"I get a lot more stressed but she is so chilled. That’s why we work so well together."

And James admitted being a dad has completely changed him.

He said: "I used to have an opinion on blokes who were bringing up children and was told I wouldn’t understand until I had my own.

"Many of my friends who are dads would say to me, ‘I’m going home to the kids’, and I used to think, ‘What, to change s***** nappies and hear all that screaming? You’d prefer that to playing 18 holes on a golf course?’ "But I look at everything differently these days. Now I can’t wait to get home and see my baby."

James and Ola have been married since 2003 and discovered Ola was pregnant in 2019 after a three-year fertility struggle.

James previously explained: "When the doctor explained the only route for us to get pregnant would be IVF, it was tough to process. It’s not something any couple ever thinks will happen to them. I’m so glad I get to see her become a mum because it’s all she’s ever really wanted. To me, she was the best dancer in the world. Now she will be, without doubt, the best mum."
