Sharon Osbourne’s £2m X Factor contract

Sharon Osbourne will be paid £2 million to return to ‘The X Factor’.
The 63-year-old star is set to make a return to the ITV show alongside Simon Cowell, Nicole Scherzinger and Louis Walsh but was the last to be signed up after asking for £300,000 in expenses.
A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "Sharon drives a hard bargain and has other commitments but Simon was certain he wanted her for the panel and he is thrilled to have a line up viewers are familiar with and have enjoyed in the past. Simon has described it as being like a greatest hits line up."
Sharon’s contract contains hotel accommodation as well as first class flights from Los Angeles to London and back so she can continue taking part in her television show ‘The Talk’.
Meanwhile, Sharon – who appeared on the panel for three years from 2004 and again in 2013 – previously admitted she was "overjoyed" about joining the show again.
She said: "I’m overjoyed about going back to The X Factor, sitting with Lou, Lou, gorgeous Nicole and naughty Simon. But most of all, I can’t wait to meet baby Eric."
And Simon is happy for her to be back as he appreciates her opinions and is an incredible "strong woman".
He said: "She is a strong woman and people like her for that. She has a lot of experience in this business and look, lets be fair there is only one Sharon Osbourne right? The one thing about Sharon is you never forget her and y’know, she is like a lot of people I work with she can really irritate me then she can really make me laugh. She has her own opinions and she sticks to them."
