Shanina Shaik: I want to become an action movie star

Shanina Shaik wants to become an action movie star.
The 25-year-old beauty is among the most recognisable models in the world, but admits her career in the industry is likely to be short-lived – and Shanina has already turned her focus to acting, starting with a cameo appearance in the newest ‘Mummy’ movie.
Shanina – who appears in the movie alongside Tom Cruise and Russell Crowe – explained: "I’m a real action girl, so I would love to be in action movies.
"Modelling is not forever, but I will definitely see it as a platform to move into other things, maybe acting and hopefully starting my own brand."
The Australian star also revealed that with the help of agent Annie Kelly, she would like to launch her own line of skin care products.
She told InStyle: "Over the years being in the make-up chair and working with amazing make-up artists … I’ve learned so much."
Meanwhile, Shanina has previously said it is important to her to set goals and work towards achieving them.
The model-turned-actress said earlier this year that it is a "beautiful thing to dream".
Shanina explained: "I definitely have a lot of goals the next five years or so … working with Maybelline or L’Oreal, a makeup contract would be amazing. I think also manifesting the things you want is really important too, and it brings positive energy into that thing and brings it back to you. It’s a beautiful thing to dream and work hard and then see what happens."
