Shakira is reportedly pregnant with her second child.
The 37-year-old singer and her soccer player partner Gerard Piqué – who already have 19-month-old son Milan together – are said to be overjoyed about the prospect of becoming parents again later this year.
Columbian singer Carlos Vives, a close friend of Shakira, told Fox News Latino: "Yes, she is pregnant and she’s very happy."
The ‘Hips Don’t Lie’ hitmaker first sparked rumours she is expecting again after she "toned down" her belly dancing performance at the Fifa World Cup 2014 final between Germany and Argentina two weeks ago.
The blonde beauty and her beau, whom she met in 2010, are yet to confirm the news, but it is believed they will be "buying pink baby clothes this autumn."
Meanwhile, Shakira previously admitted that she would like to have a large family with Gerard, but had been forced to put her baby plans on hold for a while as her budding career was getting in the way.
She said earlier this year: "If it weren’t because of my music projects, I would be pregnant already. I would love to have eight or nine kids with Gerard–my own soccer team."
