Selena Gomez gets very upset when Justin Bieber sends her text messages.
The ‘Heart Wants What It Wants’ hitmaker, who recently confirmed she had ended her on-again, off-again relationship with the Canadian star after almost five years together, is reportedly struggling to get over him because he still contacts her occasionally.
A source close to the 22-year-old beauty said: "[It’s] up and down. [Selena’s] trying to put him behind her. It’s hard because they have just so much history. It is a process…"
The insider told E! News that even getting a text from the 20-year-old singer can put a damper on the ‘Rudderless’ actress’ day.
But Selena is surrounding herself with positive influences, including best friend Taylor Swift, and has become "very active in her church" in a bid to keep her mind off Justin.
The ‘Come & Get It’ hitmaker recently admitted she will always support her ex-boyfriend.
She said: "I support him. I think I always will. I’m upset when he’s upset, I’m happy when he’s happy. I don’t want anything to ever happen to him bad. It hurts me. That’s all."
Selena is planning to celebrate Christmas with her family in her native Texas.
