Scarlett Moffatt’s special delivery

Scarlett Moffatt has become a delivery person.
The ‘Gogglebox’ star teamed up with Amazon Prime Now to celebrate Prime Day on Tuesday (12.07.16) by visiting the Newcastle Fulfillment Centre to choose a selection of treats including snacks, games, Kindles, and vouchers to take to her sister’s school.
As she walked down the aisles of the warehouse, she quipped: "I actually feel like I’m on ‘Supermarket Sweep’ because I’m going to be able to just go around and pick up what I think the kiddies will like… Party rings! You can get Frazzles!"
As she browsed the Amazon Prime app, Scarlett discovered a game she thought the pupils would enjoy – even if their teacher didn’t.
She said: "I tell you what the kids will like – Pie Face. Though I’m not sure Mrs. Bennett will…"
As the 25-year-old reality star rallied the staff to get her order ready, disaster struck.
She rang a bell and exclaimed: "Alright guys, it’s time to get the order in."
However, the bell pull came off in her hand, prompting her to laugh and say: "We need to order a bell."
She then selected and scanned her order, before putting the items in a van and travelling to the school.
And the young pupils were delighted with her selection, cheering as they saw what she’d brought.
Scarlett told them: "I’m being like a mini Santa from Amazon and I’ve got you some goodies for your library and for yous."
Meanwhile, boxer David Haye surprised youngsters at a south east London boxing gym by delivering his own selection of goodies via Prime Now to celebrate Amazon Prime Day, and other famous faces will be surprising customers with special deliveries.
Prime Day sees a number of special offers running on Amazon, while customers who place their first-ever Prime Now order – which will allow them to receive items within hours – can receive £5 off using the code 5PRIMENOW.
Prime Now is available in London, Surrey, South Yorkshire, Manchester, Birmingham, Newcastle, Liverpool, Leeds, Portsmouth and their surrounding areas.
