Sarah Parish breaks leg while snowboarding

Sarah Parish broke her leg after attempting to snowboard on a cheap plastic sledge.
On Saturday (03.03.18), the ‘Broadchurch’ actress took to Instagram to share a picture and a video of herself being rescued by paramedics, along with a follow-up picture in her hospital bed and explained what happened.
She wrote: "Day 2 in Winchester Hospital. Looks like I’ll be operated on today. They’re putting a bloody great big pin right through my shin!! No sleep last night, was on enough Morphine to knock the Navy out but still in pain. Note to self: cheap plastic sledges are for sitting in and gently trundling down primary slopes NOT a substitute for a stand up snowboard (sic)."
The 49-year-old actress is being treated at Royal Hampshire County Hospital in Winchester.
Friends and fans immediately took to Instagram to wish her well.

‘Harry Potter’ actor Chris Rankin, tweeted: "Ooooh, that looks nasty! Hope you’re ok Sarah, sending love from Wales xxxx."
And ‘Moorside’ actress Faye McKeever wrote: "Ouch ouch ouch! Sending lots of positive vibeeeeesss Pazza xx."
