Sarah Ferguson at 9-11 fundraiser

Sarah Ferguson and Princess Beatrice attended a 9/11 charity fundraiser on Monday (12.09.16).
The Duchess of York and her 28-year-old daughter headed to the Annual Charity Day in New York City which raises money for the Cantor Fitzgerald Relief Fund to support victims of terrorism and natural disasters.
Sarah wrote on Twitter: "Delighted to represent @ChildrenCrisis @CFCharityDay in #NYC today. Great day for inspirational causes @HowardLutnick #BGCCharityDay"
It comes after 658 friends and colleagues of financial services firm Cantor Fitzgerald were killed as a result of the tragic World Trade Centre attacks in September 2001, and the 56-year-old duchess admitted she was "honoured" support such a great cause.
She wrote on Twitter: "Honoured to support @HowardLutnick @edielutnick cofounders of @CantorRelief #allisonlutnick @BGCCharityDay today in #NYC with @yorkiebea"
Several other stars also attended the event, including Lily Aldridge, Michael J Fox and Allan Houston.
Event organisers were pleased to see Sarah and Beatrice – who split from her long-term boyfriend Dave Clark last month after 10 years together – in attendance.
A selection of messages on the Cantor Relief Twitter account read: "Good morning from #CFCharityDay! A pleasure to have @SarahTheDuchess and @yorkiebea here for @childrenincrisis!
"Thanks @SarahTheDuchess! Proud to support your work w/ @ChildrenCrisis. Join us & donate at http://CantorRelief.org !"
The pair attended the event last year with Sarah’s daughter Princess Eugenie, 26, and had a photograph with US rapper 50 Cent.
