Sandra Bullock immortalised as wax model

Sandra Bullock has been immortalised as a wax model.

The 49-year-old actress’ likeness has been made into a figure and her doppelganger will be unveiled at Hollywood’s Madame Tussauds museum in two weeks time.

Madame Tussauds state the figure is "red carpet ready" as she can be seen wearing a flattering red dress, a beautiful clutch bag in her hand, black high-heels on her feet and her straight long locks combed over to one side.

A likeness of Oscar winner Sandra is already on display at Madame Tussauds Las Vegas.

The statue of Sandra joins the likes of Marilyn Monroe, Audrey Hepburn, Humphrey Bogart, Lady Gaga, Jennifer Aniston, Johnny Depp and Will Smith, as well as over 100 other famous faces.

Madame Tussauds Hollywood is planning to launch 12 new figures in as many months during 2014, the first time it has done this.

Meanwhile, Madame Tussauds New York recently had to remove the waxwork of teen pop star Justin Bieber after the model began to wear away from so many fans touching it over the years.

Madame Tussauds general manager, Bret Pidgeon, said previously: "This is disappointing, but hopefully we can welcome a new grown-up Justin back to the attraction in the near future."
