Samia Ghadie forgets her name

Samia Ghadie keeps forgetting her name.
The ‘Coronation Street’ star has just reprised her role as Maria Connor in the long-running soap following six months off on maternity leave but has admitted she’s really struggling to learn her lines because she’s battling with a "baby brain."
She explained: "Playing Maria is like putting on a comfy pair of slippers. I wasn’t nervous about getting back into character but I was worried about learning my lines because of my baby brain. I can barely remember my name half the time."
However, the brunette beauty – who has six-month-old son Yves with her fiancé Sylvain Longchambon and six-year-old daughter Freya from a previous relationship – was looking forward to getting back on set and seeing her co-stars again after time away – but they weren’t as impressed to see her.
Speaking to Inside Soap magazine, Samia said: "I was so excited on my first day back [on ‘Coronation Street’]
"I came bounding in excitedly thinking everyone else was going to be as thrilled as I was. But none of them had six months off so most were just like, ‘Morning, you all right?’ "
