Sam Thompson slams money-hungry reality TV stars

Sam Thompson thinks reality TV stars who get engaged quickly are only thinking about money.
The 25-year-old TV personality shot to fame in E4’s ‘Made in Chelsea’ – a reality TV show detailing the lives of rich Chelsea residents – but claimed people who meet on more "established shows" are likely to stay together unlike those on others including ‘Love Island’.
Speaking to the Sun Online, Sam said: "They want the magazine deals, that’s what it’s all about. It’s all for the money.
"I believe the people who meet on the more established shows, they’re the ones that stick together.
"They’re trying to work towards something, they obviously care about each other a great deal."
His comments come after ‘Love Island’ contestants Jessica Shears and Dom Lever got engaged after spending just two weeks together in the Spanish villa.
Sam recently stepped away from appearing on ‘Made in Chelsea’ after his turbulent relationship with co-star Tiffany Watson ended last summer.
Now, the reality TV star is filming ‘Celebs Go Dating’ after appearing on ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ and wrapped up shooting ‘Celebrity Ghost Hunt’.
The new supernatural TV show sees celebrities going to haunted places around the UK and seeing if they can speak to the dead.
Although he was already a believer in the afterlife, Sam admitted he is keen to learn more following filming the show.
He said: "I’m all about this paranormal stuff, so it was a no-brainer to me.
"I do believe in ghosts. I believe they’re around. I have no connection to them because I’m an average Joe.
"I’ve gone to a healer before. My sister is in tune with all that stuff apparently. She used to have nightmares as a kid.
"The guy said your sister’s really in tune with the spirits."
